My mother was struggling at home with domestic duties and eventually personal care. I contacted lots of firms for help, some replied they had no vacancies, others just failed to reply. I walked down Fisherton Street and through the office door (before Covid). I was greeted with friendly courtesy and within days someone had come to assess my mother. They totally "got her!" My mother had once a day care, at first 5 days a week, then 7 for an hour late morning. We both benefited, her kitchen was left clean and tidy, her bathroom cleaned, she was prompted to perform activities she was capable of. My mother has been untidy all her life and the carers coped admirably. They were kind, didn't take any nonsense and she became very fond of them. They also alerted the GP if she was poorly. They coped during Covid, with PPE and her isolation. They came for two years. Sadly my mother needed 24 hour nursing care and has just gone to a nursing home.
Thank you for your review. I am glad that we could help you and your mother in this important time of her life. It's good to hear that our great carers get this feedback from clients and their relatives. We do try our best to improve our services, but we feel very proud of this input. Kind regards, Andy Rogers, Director.
An excellent reliable service. Always willing to be flexible to resolve any issues. The carers and the office staff are pleasant and always accessible by phone to discuss any matters of concern. Would recommend it as a Caring Company.
Dear Chris, Thank you for such kind words, we really try our best and always strive to get better. Andy Rogers, Director.
We have had excellent, kind and dignified care for our very elderly frail father. The help given has enabled him to remain at home. When contacting staff in the office all have been extremely helpful and kind. My thanks to everyone.
Dear Jean, thank you for those kind words. I agree I think my staff are amazing and Jake has a heart of gold, always looking outside of the box. I will feed this back to our carers. Kind regards, Andy.
I have been satisfied with the care being given to me. The carers that have attended to me have been kind and considerate of my present needs. Sometimes, because of sickness there has been a change to my time or carer, but someone will always come. I have found the office staff to be very helpful when making enquiries or making my payments.
Thank you for your comments. I am pleased that we are living up to your expectations. If there is anything we can help you with don't hesitate to contact the office. Kind regards, Andy.
From the start, the experience of Totally Living Care has been extremely good. The initial assessment was thoughtful, kind and professional. As a family, we praise the carers that come and look after our father's needs. In fact, it is second to none. On the occasions that I have contacted the office team, I have met only helpful and professional staff. I recommend this company.
Dear Marion, thank you so much for those lovely words and recommendations, it means a lot. Kind regards, Andy.
I have found Totally Living Care to be a thoroughly professional and caring business. Very flexible, understanding and practical to achieving my mother in law’s needs. The staff are attentive and extremely friendly and I would fully recommend them to anyone who required caring support.
Dear Linda, thank you so much for those lovely comments, I will feed this back to the carers. I am glad that we can fulfil your needs and thank you for the recommendation. Kind regards, Andy.
Totally Living Care provided care for my 90-year old mother on both 24-hour and timed daily visit basis for approximately the year leading up to December 2021. The care was all that my mother needed: kind, efficient, friendly and thoughtful. The whole TLC team are to be congratulated on their professionalism and ability to respond at short notice to new and unexpected requirements - when my mother needed 24-hour care for a short period following a TIA episode, for example. Mum felt she knew all her carers personally and developed good relationships with them during her time as a TLC client. Thank you to TLC for your considerable contribution to guaranteeing that Mum's last months were passed in as dignified, safe and comfortable a manner as possible.
Dear Julian, what an amazing review, thank you so much, it means a lot for me to feedback to the team your kind words and recommendations. It was an honour and pleasure to care for your mother. Kind regards, Andy.
Totally Living Care are providing excellent and caring service to my parents. The office is always quick and responsive and willing to resolve issues and help in any way. There have been issues concerning the responsibility for equipment and prescriptions, but they are communicating well with community care and looking for a solution.
We have been extremely happy with the service from Total Living Care. The standard of care from all the 15 or so carers we see have been very good, all done with a most understanding attitude. We are happy too, with the whole ethos of the company, from the top down.
Used service for three months with visits twice a day. Carers were all friendly and worked very well with my husband, always polite and respecting his dignity and wishes. They always checked that I was ok as well. They helped us through what was a difficult time.
Given lockdown, I have not been able to visit, TLC has stepped and done everything a caring relative would do and have kept me informed. A fantastic service. One particular gentleman deserves note.
TLC provided up to four carers a day to feed and assist my aged stepmother, who was immobile and incontinent. They also provided immediate links with medical services and county occupational therapy services and Mediequip, and thus willingly shouldered this burden on my behalf as her nearest relative and Power of Attorney. This was for about 18-months up to my stepmother's death in August 2020. Every member of the TLC team that I happened to meet when I visited the flat were very engaged in their work and gave the impression that they really enjoyed helping my mother. Over the last 2-3 years, we had the experience of three carer agencies, and TLC's combination of professionalism, care and reliability, shown by all that I met at TLC including the managers, was by far the best.
Thank you so much for your review! I can honestly say it was such a pleasure to look after you mother, she was an amazing person and a role model to all of Totally Living Care's carers.
Overall, I am pleased with the service that I am receiving. Generally, my calls are on time, carer is polite, helpful and very respectful.
We use both evening call and sitting service. My husband has advanced dementia but reacts well to the care staff and is easier and manageable. All staff are helpful, cheerful and friendly, and in difficult times, a welcome sight!
Extremely well-managed company. Staff always available to contact with queries in the office and always respond promptly. Carers are supportive, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to support the client and family. Communication regarding care support is very good. Like the fact that the rota is sent in advance to family and client.
On the whole, I have been pleased with the service - sometimes the washing up is a bit slipshod.
Most of the carers are good but the older the better and they are better at ironing and we have more in common. The younger, the worse they are at housework.
Many thanks to you all.
Their daily calls have made such a difference. They are all so patient, kind and compassionate. Nothing is too much trouble and they all feel like extended family. Totally Living Care is a shining light in the care industry and is how care should be.
Well done everyone involved.
Staff are attentive and caring.
