Fabulous agency. Communication was amazing and the staff and care coordinators didn't heir best to match staff to my family member. If and when issues arose we as a family were able to communicate with ease. Worked very well with is as a family.

We are extremely grateful for all the support provided by the team at Specialist Care Services. They looked after our dear friend with a great deal of kindness and compassion at all times. They worked closely with the Palliative Care Team to ensure continuous care was provided and kept us updated at all times. A family friend of ours initially recommended SCS to us, since when we also received additional recommendations, both from medical professionals and a social worker. I would highly recommend SCS for anyone looking for carer support for a loved one.

My Dad had Motor Neurone Disease and we enlisted the support of SCS to help us. I have nothing but praise for the team - their care for my Dad (and also Mum) was absolutely exemplary and we could not fault the team. They were all fantastic and would go above and beyond for him. It gave myself and my sister peace of mind to know how well cared for he was. When Dad was declining they gave us as much emotional support as they did Dad physical support/care. They were with us from the very beginning and up until he passed away. They are all incredible people and we cannot thank them enough for everything they did for our family.

My mother-in-law [Jean] received exemplary care over a period of two months, until her death at home. Jean was desperate to remain at home and not be admitted to hospital and the carers who visited her four times daily made this possible.

The carers were warm and compassionate with Jean and professional and open with us, her family.

I cannot thank Specialist Care enough for the support and care they provided my Dad in his last few weeks. His carers were kind, friendly and professional, always seeing to his needs and checking in on me. They recognised when Dad needed additional medical help and told me who to contact. They were never rushed even when Dad didn't require any assistance and always made time to chat with him. The office team were always professional and helpful, offering me support and guidance along the way. It was reassuring to know that the team was highly trained and efficient. Overall, Specialist Care gave my Dad the dignity he deserved at the end of his life. This is all a family can wish for their loved one.

An excellent care provider. They looked after my Mum on end of life care until she passed away. The care my Mum received was exemplary, the carers were always so kind and gentle with her - but jolly too - they always managed to raise a smile. They were very respectful of my Mum, who very much valued her privacy, and always treated her in a very dignified manner. They were all very knowledgeable, and supportive of me too which I really appreciated. My Mum looked forward to their visits and they were lovely with her and so friendly. And it was nice that we always had the same familiar faces. We really appreciate the help and care that my Mum received, these wonderful carers made a very difficult time for my Mum and her family so much more bearable and I will always be so grateful for that. I can't recommend these carers highly enough, a really lovely caring group of ladies, thank you.

We have utilised Specialist Care Services for a few months, and the professionalism, kindness, and compassion displayed by each member of the team on every visit were exceptional. We were most grateful.

The care provided by Specialist Care Services has been excellent and I cannot fault them in any way. The two carers we have on a regular basis are friendly and very committed to their work and are a credit to the the company. They are very reassuring and helpful and also always go the extra mile if needed. This is one of the main factors unique to this company, by having the same carers they get to know the patient really well and this has been the case with these two members of staff. They are always on time, and have never let us down. Obviously on their day off they have to be replaced, these carers too have been respectful and helpful, also friendly and have been flexible with their times. My husband is always very well cared for, always clean and to date have not had any problems with bed sores etc. My husband has had excellent care throughout and I would totally recommend Specialist Care Services to others, which I have done. I will sing their praises forever! Well done!

I cannot praise the carers from Specialist Care Services highly enough. From the moment they started to provide support to my brother, he really felt cared for and liked everyone who came to help him. He was treated so kindly by everyone, it was almost like family visiting rather than physical care. I met most of the carers and it was nice to chat with each of them and see the friendly faces each time. I know my brother felt safe with all of the team. I especially would like to offer a special mention to the manager - she organised everything expertly and would often call in to check everything was ok. Whenever there was a change to the medication or requirements she was totally in control of everything to make sure nothing was missed. It was such a relief to the family to know he was in such good hands. As a family we can never express how grateful we are for the care that he received, but thank you so much from all of us.

I've had 3 care agencies in the last 3 years since I became sick. I'm now with Specialist Care, they are simply the best agency I've ever been with. My carers are always on time, very attentive, hard working and nothing is a problem to them. I simply couldn't live my life without them! I really look forward to seeing them everyday because they are so good to me because of my disability! The boss of the agency is also fabulous too. Specialist Care Services treated our dad with great care and professionalism. Their communication with us and record keeping was excellent. The staff were always cheerful and ensured that Dad was left comfortable before leaving.

Your staff definitely knew how to deal with the situation of end-of-life care. Knowledgeable/professional in every way/courteous and compassionate to the patient and her family. The carer organised their time around the patient's needs, covering a 12-hour day in the last days. The carer never complained at all throughout her time visiting the home.
