Stocks are approachable and will change attendance to suit needs. My son is very happy with the care he receives from Stocks.
I could not ask for anything more from Stocks. They give me piece of mind that my brother is safe and being cared for. thank you xx
Amazing care providers, I really don't know how we would have managed with out them. Each carer is warm, friendly and goes above and beyond to provide the best care they can. We have really felt our mum is in safe hands with their help.
Carers are faultless they know when to be quiet with you when you are feeling down they cheer you up. They are all honest and trustworthy.
Wonderful carers, couldn't have asked for more. They did everything they possibly could to help and care for mum in her own home. Extremely professional, compassionate and on many occasions went above and beyond to care for her needs.
They support my mum who has very complex needs and make my mum feel very special.
She had a fall and they dealt with it very professiinaly and contacted me at the tine with a plan.
Lovely staff and service.
He looks forward to their visits and enjoys their chats
Their policies ensure the utmost care and safety of individuals. Their practices reflect policy, every carer is punctual, polite, positive, clean, respectful, caring - professional in every way. Visits are logged, attention to detail in record keeping, to ensure excellent practice, doesn't intrude on personal care.
They make my mum feel safe and valued.
We have experienced other providers , so feel equipped to say, with confidence, Stocks are the BEST.
I am very satisfied at the level of care given to my wife. The staff are very caring and always have a dialogue with my wife and myself. Lets hope this good work continues.
Stocks Homecare have been looking after our mum and dad for two years now, they both have quite severe dementia, the girls that come are brilliant with them and we cannot praise them enough nothing is too much trouble for them, we trust them completely with the day to day care of our parents, and it has certainly made mine and my sisters lives so much easier and less stressful. We would recommend Stocks Homecare to any body who is struggling with the care of an elderly or vulnerable relative.
The main reason for my care and support as I have partial sight impairment and prone for falling and it gives confidence knowing someone is coming twice a day.
We like to see the same two carers faces but understand this isn't always possible.
They are friendly and my brother seems to be able to communicate with them which is good as he has a speech impediment.
Over all I am happy with the care and support given.
Such a relief to have their care for my mother-in-law.
Staff are helpful and attentive, all care procedures are followed correctly.
Very pleased with the care provided at home for my mum by the Stocks Hall team, particularly Wendy, who lives in the village and visits my mum a couple of times a week. I find the care provision to be pragmatic and proactive, which is needed to navigate the ups and downs of her variable needs and the complexity of the care system in general.
We use the service to cover care for my mother when we go on holiday. She is partially sighted and prone to falling so your service twice a day gives the family peace of mind to know someone is going into her home. She does have her favourites.
Stocks Hall Homecare is a good service. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.
My experience so far, which has only been three weeks is one of excellent service. I am very happy with the caregivers. They treat me with respect and dignity, they listen to my care needs and provide that care in a competent manner. They are always very friendly and brighten my day. Thank you.
I find the staff very caring, clean and happy to help me get the assistance I need. During both morning and evening calls (20-minute calls each). They are pleasant and friendly. The office staff do their best to solve any requests I ask of them.
I couldn't be happier with the service they provided my aunt and now my mum. They're so caring and kind to Mum and us. 10/10 service and I would definitely recommend anyone who needs assistance to contact Stocks Hall.
Mum has been receiving at-home care for a couple of years now. Can't praise the staff's care and competence enough. Mum has regular carers, and all seem to genuinely care about her. Management is great at communicating and keeping me updated with what is happening as I live a long way from Mum.

Having only started in October 2022, Keran has hit the ground running with her new role as Homecare manager at our office in Skelmersdale. Keran came to us after a recent house move to the area and desired a new challenge. Having heard of the vacancy within Stocks Hall and our reputation for person-centred community care, she jumped at the chance to join our family-run business.
Keran constantly strives for high standards, both in the care we provide in our local community and our staff, ensuring their care is of high quality and helps to keep our client's independence. Working with our long-serving team of carers and coordinators, Keran is proud of their hard work ethic, dignified care and relationships they build with our clients and their families, as their trust is one well earned.
Spending her free time walking the mountains in the Lake District and Wales, there is no challenge that she won't take on and come out better and stronger on the other side!
Demi started with us at Stocks Hall Homecare as a carer back in 2007 and after ten years dedicated to her role, she was promoted to Care Co-Ordinator in 2017 and has enjoyed her new position and the responsibility that comes with it.
Seeing her team of carers go above and beyond each and every day is what makes Demi proud to be a part of our team, she finds it to be very rewarding to be able to make difference, both big and small, in people’s lives.
Demi’s wealth of knowledge and experience has seen her fly through her NVQ Levels 2, 3, and most recently her Level 5 in Health and Social Care, what an achievement and one we are all proud of. Certainly calls for a celebratory Brandy for all your hard work, Demi!
Looking for a meaningful career change, Jemma joined our team at Stock Hall Homecare in 2018 and found the rewarding job she was looking for. Having always enjoyed caring for others, she has found her dream team that allows her to make a difference in the lives of those she cares for, even if it is to bring a smile to their face each day.
Jemma has completed her NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and is looking forward to completing her Level 3 in the near future.
Upon asking Jemma why she enjoys working in our Homecare team she says, “My job is so rewarding and ensuring that my client's needs are met to a high standard is what I strive for. Putting a smile on someone’s face is just priceless and if you are looking for a career with immense job satisfaction, then come and join our friendly team today, we will be happy to have you.”
Dawn has been a great asset to all our teams and services here at Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group. Her journey began after working for many years with children, Dawn wanted to try her hand at caring for the elderly so her career at Stocks Hall Homecare began. For 3 years, she worked in her local community caring for people in the comfort of their own homes.
Knowing we have 6 other care homes, Dawn wanted to see what it was like to care in a dedicated setting and so started work in our Skelmersdale home. Also working alongside her passionate Senior Carer son at the home, Dawn worked on our Nursing unit for 3 years up until early 2023. The love and passion for caring for others must run in their genes as they are both fantastic at what they do!
We were thrilled when Dawn came back to us at Homecare and after quickly picking up where she left off, she was promoted to a Senior with her wealth of knowledge and expertise. Dawn is also our ‘Moving & Handling’ and will be one of the friendly faces you meet as new staff and if you require our services.
Darryl has worked in Social Care for the last 12 years and in that time has worked passionately to complete his Level 2 & 3 qualifications in Adult Social Care.
Darryl joined Stocks Home Care Services after hearing great reports from staff who worked for the company, and now has family members cared for by the Stocks team since joining! Darryl said, “I love all the aspects of my job role from working in the office with my fellow dedicated colleagues, to going out in the community and caring for our ladies and gents”.
In his spare time, Darryl helps support people with mental health issues and disabilities by being part of the local mental health & disability football team, The Skem Aces, where he helps raise money for the football club and local charities traveling up and down the country participating in tournaments. All whilst caring and providing for his own family and 4 amazing children!
