We used TerraBlu to help my Mum who has Alzheimer’s. From the thorough initial assessment to the carers visits, TerraBlu were fantastic. The carers treated her with dignity, respect and brightened up the days with their visits. They were totally understanding of Mum’s needs and nothing was too much
trouble for them.

My sister was very independent and was reluctant to receive care. However, after the first visit to prepare her a meal and get her undressed ready for bed, she was reassured and immediately began to look forward to her visits and a chat. The care and concern delivered were excellent. Unfortunately,
it soon became evident that she needed residential care. She passed away in a care home in Bournemouth a month later.

TerraBlu looked after my father for 2 years. He was a private person and never liked people in his home, but I must say the team were brilliant. Dad really liked his carer who treated him with dignity. He died 2 weeks ago age 91. TerraBlu allowed my father to stay in his own home and he was happy right

I have three morning visits and two evening visits. The morning visits are very valuable and I value the help, the continuity and reliability. The evening visits are fine but less valuable consisting of a soup and a chat, but always friendly and good for morale. Many thanks.

We have been so delighted with the care received by my father from TerraBlu over the last few years. It has enabled him to stay in his own home far longer than we had anticipated. His eyes light up when he sees his favourite carers and whilst he has practically no short term memory, he does remember
them when they arrive. They genuinely seem to 'care' for him and have made many suggestions to improve his living conditions which we have tried to input. He barely leaves home now (which is probably a good thing!) but we are confident that he is safe in his own home and as happy as he can be in the circumstances. Thank you again TerraBlu!

TerraBlu have provided care for me over - but not continuously over, the last ten years or so. The experience has been almost entirely satisfying. Communication with the office has improved. The carers, at a personal level, have been kind and efficient and frankly, I would not want to be without them.

Great friendly staff who are patient with my elderly demented mother. They have gone over and above to help out when the situation required it. Communication is good by email or phone calls when it's more urgent. Their expertise has helped on ways forward and changing the care for my mum. She sees a
small number of different carers which allows her to build relationships. It also means we can trust their judgment regarding her daily well-being and health.

Our grandmother was very reluctant to accept carers into her home. TerraBlu carers have been so kind and patient and she now looks forward to their visits. They have been her lifeline to the outside world during this Covid pandemic. She has developed a trusting relationship with her carers and if the
time comes when she needs help with her personal care I feel she will be much more comfortable. As a family of key workers who have only been able to see her from a distance, it has put our minds at ease to know she has not been alone. Thank you so much for all you're hard work and dedication.

Our Mum has only recently started to need care and we were recommended TerraBlu by a colleague at the hospital where I work. Mum was a bit worried about having carers in at first but now she loves them all. They are extremely kind and attentive and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The office is
also very efficient and keeps you informed if there are any changes to care etc. It is such a relief to have found such a caring company.

For those responsible for the care of family members from a distance, please read on. Care commenced for my mother over 12 years ago. It culminated in end-of-life care for both my parents, sadly within the same year. My mother passed away from the devastating effects of MND and needed extremely specific
care. Through the depth of the relationship, a partnership between myself and key carers and members of the organisation developed. We learned together what was needed for MND care. Office staff helped co-ordinate help with NHS (hard for me from America). The journey was complex. We did not always get it right the first time - I think it is vital to stress this, as an indication commitment pays off. Nobody ever gave up. My mother was often difficult, but she had a strong bond with her carers, culminating in a close relationship with an exceptional individual who held my mother's hand at the end while keeping me virtually in the room. This level of care and perseverance is to be applauded.

Very pleased with the assessment, the lady that did the assessment was a very bubbly, cheerful person who put us totally at ease and we felt very confident that everything would work out well.
The lady who is the carer is a really nice, friendly lady who we are getting on with extremely well, she
is very efficient and does her job well, plus we have a very friendly and humorous relationship.

After my mother had a fall in Autumn 2016 resulting in two fractures in upper arm/shoulder joint and although she has the first floor as her flat, (we have the ground floor as a bungalow for myself, my husband and 2 children, now grown up and gone). Because I have partial hemiplegia down one side, the
result of an R.T.A. and severe brain damage in 1968, I consequently needed care for mum while she healed. Engaged Terrablu Ltd, morning and evenings, to shower her in the morning plus help to dress and evening to get her ready for bed. Have been employing them ever since because mum is 97, 98 shortly! I cannot fault them with their care, kindness and reliability. The firm is so professional with phone calls if there is ever a change in timings (very rare). They lay on at least three outings per year for clients. Also, I gather they have regular on-call training.
