Very pleased with the assessment, the lady that did the assessment was a very bubbly, cheerful person who put us totally at ease and we felt very confident that everything would work out well.
The lady who is the carer is a really nice, friendly lady who we are getting on with extremely well, she is very efficient and does her job well, plus we have a very friendly and humorous relationship.

All in all 5* service.

After my mother had a fall in Autumn 2016 resulting in two fractures in upper arm/shoulder joint and although she has the first floor as her flat, (we have the ground floor as a bungalow for myself, my husband and 2 children, now grown up and gone). Because I have partial hemiplegia down one side, the result of an R.T.A. and severe brain damage in 1968, I consequently needed care for mum while she healed. Engaged Terrablu Ltd, morning and evenings, to shower her in the morning plus help to dress and evening to get her ready for bed. Have been employing them ever since because mum is 97, 98 shortly! I cannot fault them with their care, kindness and reliability. The firm is so professional with phone calls if there is ever a change in timings (very rare). They lay on at least three outings per year for clients. Also, I gather they have regular on-call training.

My mother has had the services of Terrablu for the past three years and it has been a great service for Mum.
Recently Mum had to visit hospital for nine days as she was poorly. When I explained and reengaged with the Terrablu team they were understanding and supportive, which helped Mum and our family to re-establish a care package and support bespoke to Mum's needs.

I can only praise and thank the entire team of Terrablu for their kindness and support which has allowed Mum to build up her health and confidence.

The lovely ladies of Terrablu have been looking after my husband since mid-November. They are all always courteous and friendly to me and my family and especially to my husband. They are punctual and always neat and tidy. My husband looks forward to the friendly banter he has with ‘ his ladies’.

My mother has Alzheimer’s, and Terrablu has looked after my mother for two and a half years starting with one visit a day and finishing with four calls a day every day. All the carers were extremely professional and kind. My mother liked them all. My mother was extremely ill in March this year and they all did a fantastic job looking after her when she came out of hospital.

The office-based staff were also always very helpful and bent over backwards to make sure my mother had the proper care. So thank you all.

Terrablu provide morning and lunchtime care to my mother. Carers usually come at the same time morning and lunchtime, they are very caring and got out of there way to help mum. If I have any worries about her I can phone and they will help out.

The only problem we do have is the continuity of carers, I would like to have 2 or 3 carers on regular days.

When my mother had a fall and needed more support than her private carer was able to provide, we were given a recommendation for Terrablu Ltd; we were not disappointed! Having used a similar agency previously and found the care provided to be inflexible and of poor quality, I have been really impressed by all aspects of the care provided by Terrablu Ltd. From the initial interviews to the quality and kindness and personal approach of the care worker, to the efficiency of the administrator (which allows us to monitor carer information and communicate changes). The level of service and care received by my mother has been excellent. Thank you!

My father is developing vascular dementia and has chronic heart disease. He is very frail but is still game to do things and has an active social life. The team are very patient and kind and deal with him very effectively. His physical health had noticeably improved with their attention to his needs (averting potential ulcers, dealing with foot problems monitoring his weight for oedema) and with the confidence they give him to shower himself properly. As a result he always looks well turned out and glossy. He enjoys the interaction with the team members and there is always lots of chatter and laughter while they are getting him up. Timings and range of calls have been flexible to take account of his needs and the team have been very responsive to comments.

My mother has been receiving support from Terrablu for nearly 10 years. During the last three years mum's support has increased to a daily visit. Terrablu has some excellent carers and the service has improved greatly during the last 3 years. The staff in the office are very friendly and approachable. Some of the care is outstanding. I live a long way away from mum and so it is essential that I can trust her care agency, which I can to deliver thoughtful, personal care.

The care staff were excellent, polite, helpful, efficient and competent well selected and trained. Initial assessment and care plan interview well organised. The management oversights in five weeks- requested earlier visit on one day- promised call back not received, helper came of normal time. One Saturday morning no helper arrived, message left on weekend number at 9.30 am but no response. Otherwise very satisfactory.

Overall Experience

We moved in with our son and daughter-in-law last January as we could no longer manage on our own. Having always been very independent it was with some trepidation that we asked Terrablu for a carer - just for a short time each morning. We were amazed and delighted at the quality of care we received, interwoven with an enjoyable personal relationship and a big element of fun. Our carers have done a superb job, not only the essential requirements but with an eye for those little extras which make such a difference. We cannot praise them enough and the organisation is also very good, supplying extra help when needed and altering the timetable when required. All round EXCELLENT!!
