Bluebird Care Bromley is a premium home care agency dedicated to preserving the independence and improving the quality of life of vulnerable adults – such as those with challenges around mobility, sensory impairment and dementia – by offering sustainable solutions to some of the problems often associated with frailty, living alone and isolation.

I have always been entirely satisfied with the help I receive from Bluebird, the carers are helpful and intelligent, remember how I like things done, and know where I keep utensils etc, so they can put them away in the right places. We often have a laugh together; they are also careful to note the "use-by"
dates of food so that I'm not in danger of a stomach upset

The care service provided by Bluebird is excellent and has throughly supported my mother who has cancer and dementia. The carers are attentive and cheerful and very supportive of my mother. They also go beyond their remit to make sure that she is well looked after and has everything she needs. The Bluebird
care coordinators are efficient, friendly and very helpful and the administration of the company works well. Over the last 3 years (three times a day) that Bluebird has been looking after my mother the carers have always arrived within scheduled times. The care record app is also very good and enables carers to communicate with me about my mother's needs. All in all, Bluebird offer an excellent service.

Bluebird have been caring for my mum for more than a year.
The carers are all kind and professional and have built a lovely and supportive relationship with mum and the family.
They always keep in touch if there are any concerns and it is reassuring to have the app to read the visit notes and see
the daily schedules.

My wife and I are over 96. She has total short term memory loss and I have multiple conditions/medications. However we manage to stay together at home in large part due to daily support in all sorts of ways by Bluebird carers who tackle whatever needs to be done cheerfully and sympathetically.

The review was very thorough and the manager provided a lot of helpful information about people suffering from dementia. We discussed Mum's wandering off and how to reduce this. Several very constructive suggestions were made and it left me and my sister very reassured that with the help of the staff
and also O.T coming in, Mum would be well looked after. The staff were very approachable and supportive and we feel happier now.

As an elderly male (90+) and still largely living independently and alone, I value the personal, friendly contact that Bluebird Care carers bring to me. I therefore like to have a regular schedule of the same carer at the same time each day. It seems that Bluebird carers were having difficulty in giving
this level of organisation; I have no complaints about the actual carers.

Jordanna

Jordanna Males

Job Title: Care Manager Joined: 2019

Jordanna has been involved in the Care sector from a young age, joining straight from school and completing her NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care studying full time at college. She has since worked with older adults and young adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities, and as a Job Coach, helping students to prepare for and gain employment.


She joined Bluebird Care Bromley in 2019 as a Care Assistant before joining the office team, firstly as a Field Care Supervisor on the Live-in Care team, tasked with paying weekly check-in visits to customers and providing support to carers out in the field, and later performing a similar role on the Day Care team.


In 2022, Jordanna was appointed as Deputy Care Manager. As DM, Jordanna’s role was to support the Registered manager with her responsibility to keep the agency compliant with the CQC’s regulations, and to oversee the team of Supervisors, who collectively carry out new customer assessments, write care plans, manage relationships with customers, relatives and involved healthcare professionals, and enable the agency’s community Care Assistants to provide safe and effective care and support.


In 2024 Jordanna successfully completed her Level 5 Qualification in Management in Health and Social Care and was appointed as Care Manager in February 2025
