Bluebird Care Sussex Weald

My mother used Bluebird Care for approximately three years. The staff, both the carers and office staff, were always very friendly, caring and very importantly patient! The office staff were very good at accommodating changes to my mother's schedule in order to fit in appointments etc. I know she will miss the carers.

Obviously care is quite expensive, but it is worth it when it means help when you need it.

Bluebird have provided six weeks of post operative care, enabling my wife and I to continue our independent life at home. The care team have all been very friendly, supportive and practical and we have looked forward to their visits.

Bluebird are life savers. Thanks to Bluebird my 89 year old mother enjoys quality of life, happiness, and security in the peace and comfort of her own home that would otherwise be impossible. Cares are wonderfully trained, kind, understanding, caring and professional. Detailed notes are taken at each visit. Bluebird is well organised and readily available if we need to flag a concern, or new development. They can be relied on to go to bat for mum, and to alert us to any concerns or needs. Mum has dementia but is otherwise cheerful and good natured. If I end up like mum I would definitely want Bluebird carers to support me.

The communication is excellent. They constantly assess my sister-in-law's needs which gives us confidence that all her needs are met. Without their care, she would not be able to live in her own home which she wished.

The service has been very satisfactory. The staff are efficient and usually very kind. They carry out all the tasks well and according to our instructions. The service has accommodated us when we’ve asked for the carers to come earlier or later.

We first met one of the carers who was very helpful and easy to chat with - then another carer who was the same. The carer has been twice and she is super helpful and very nice. I particularly like her informal, chatty style. This is my first experience with a carer (apart from my husband!) and I was a bit apprehensive about the formalities. These have been swept away by the carer, who is just my sort of person. Practical, friendly and efficient. She treats me as an equal, not as a 'client'. Well done to all concerned!

We have found Bluebird carers to be very helpful and polite, especially as my mum was very against having carers in, but she has been surprisingly happy with them. My mother receives care twice a week. This has proved invaluable to aid her independence. The carers are always kind, thoughtful, attentive and give a first-class level of care. Nothing is too much trouble, whether it is just a cup of tea and a chat giving emotional support or more complex medical care.

We have worked with Bluebird Care for the last two years. All of the home carers showed my mother kindness, respect and patience. They were always on time and nothing was too much trouble for them. We are very grateful for their help.

The app provided to us is very useful for monitoring Mum and any day-to-day issues she may have.
