My elderly gentleman friend commenced care with Bluebird (South Woodford branch) 2 years ago. Initially, he had carers during the day and for the last 3 months, he had a live-in carer. The Company worked hard to ensure that the carers provided were a “match” for their client and kept the team to a minimum to best meet the client’s needs - even during the Pandemic. From the start, they worked with us and strived to ensure the client’s needs were met. The carers were on time for their visits, were courteous, interested in their client, provided quality care and were a pleasure to have in his home. Usually, we were informed of unexpected changes to the allocated carer and we understood that such an event could occur occasionally.

On the rare occasion a problem arose, Management acted swiftly to address the issue - very pleasant people to deal with.

My friend has recently died but he was so happy with his carers. Thank you.

I am most impressed with this organisation in terms of its professionalism, its assessment, control of its carers and training.
Due to the temporary absence of both of my daughters, and in view of my physical disabilities, I reluctantly agreed to initially three carers a day, of one hour each at 11-12 am, 6-7 pm and 9-10 pm to assist me. A full assessment was made of my needs.
After careful planning, the arrangement has been reduced to the midday session, and I have planned accordingly.

I have always found them to be genuinely helpful and sensitive to my condition.

Overall Experience

When the carers arrive I greet them at the door they go in and wash their hands and get themselves prepared for a visit. Then I go upstairs with the carer to my husband and leave them both to get on with it. My husband never complains about the care that he gets he thinks he gets excellent care, I only hear laughter coming from upstairs. I don’t stay but I feel that the care that my husband receives is excellent. Sometimes I go out and leave the carer with my husband. He's comfortable I feel with carers, I would recommend Bluebird care to friends, family and neighbours. Our overall experience is excellent.

Overall Experience

Bluebird have been providing care for five years. By providing one or two regular carers, it has been possible to establish a routine that is most effective and much appreciated. Trust and friendship have been established, which is very important. The management is quick to respond when requested to make any adjustments to the visits and keep us in touch with updates to their services. When choosing a suitable care package can be so difficult, we are very grateful to have found Bluebird.

Overall Experience

On the whole great and I appreciate Mum is resistant to help. Little things like filling the kettle up to full so she couldn't lift it, leaving washing up and just throwing the cover over the bed rather than making it look nice. Overall very happy and have recommended you recently.

Overall Experience

We use this service for ad hoc sitting and personal care for my husband who has Parkinson’s disease when I have to attend hospital appointments etc. Always very well carried out, sympathetic carers, who are interested in their job and in the person, they are looking after.

I would just like to thank Bluebird sincerely for the amazing service we have received from Bluebird over the past 10+ years.
The highly professional, caring and personable team made it possible to keep my mother in her house despite her worsening conditions.
I have been so very impressed with the Bluebird team and cannot thank them enough for their patience and genuine investment in my Mothers wellbeing – I simply do not know what would have done without Bluebird!

Each and every member of your team, from the back office to front line care has been exceptional throughout. The communication has been second to none and the relationships built with my Mother have, without a doubt, enhanced her life!

Overall Experience

I have been using Bluebird Care Redbridge for five years, and I have found them very professional. I know that all Bluebird carers are fully trained before caring for clients. The carers wear a uniform, and the office tries hard to provide regular carers. The carers arrive on time and you receive a phone call if circumstances make them late. The carers are pleasant, friendly and treat clients with dignity. The office staff are always polite and helpful. Someone is always on call overnight and at weekends. I recently used this service after wounding my leg. The care and support given by my carer and the on-call person was a great comfort to me.

Overall Experience

The care and support given by Bluebird Care has been exceptional. The level of care had increased over several months as my mother's condition deteriorated and, although my father was very dubious about having live-in care at the start, he soon realised how positive their input could be. They fulfilled my parents' needs with much empathy and kindness and when we had a crisis, Bluebird Care managed to arrange additional support seamlessly. The standard of the individual carers is very high, and Mum grew to trust them, and enjoy their company. This is an organisation of high quality and I would whole-heartedly recommend them.

The quality of care I received from the very start from the office staff was second to none. Our request this time round was urgent and cover was put in place within hours. My aunt had live-in care support, full time for 2-3 weeks which was to the highest possible standard. The carer literally couldn't have done more if she tried, she was a pleasure to be around and made my aunt feel very comfortable with having a live-in carer in her home.

Bluebird have helped our family on other occasions and I anticipate will do so for the coming years. I have no reservations about recommending Bluebird Care to anybody.

The careworker who visits my uncle has been a godsend during these difficult times. She visits daily providing continuity of care and always goes above and beyond what is required of her and the daily tasks. She is kind and considerable, always smiling and talks to my uncle with respect. We couldn't ask for a better careworker.

Overall Experience

I first heard about this provider when I attended a friend's funeral. The team who had cared for her throughout the time were there with the congregation acknowledging the termination of their relationship. So when I broke my hip three years ago, I chose their company to be my carers. Since then their care for me has been consistently excellent. My initial interview and the subsequent book produced about my needs are constantly updated and reviewed. I am more than satisfied.

Overall Experience

My wife has an accident which caused her to have a bad brain bleed. After coming home from the hospital it was very difficult to stand up, she is 79 years old and I am 81 years so we were recommended by our social worker to Bluebird Care (Redbridge). They came within 24 hours and started it next day, 22nd July and we end in a few days, Sept 16. Every carer has been punctual and very nice.
