My overall view, from the commencement of our contract, has been impressive. The carers have all been courteous, pleasant, kind, professional in all areas of care.
Thank you for the amazing feedback on our carers and the service we provide. We appreciate the review and we hope continue providing premium care for you and your loved ones.
Have a lovely day.
I was so impressed by the care every one of the carers who visited me showed, and took of me. They were all very kind, friendly and efficient and I didn't feel at all uncomfortable being showered and dressed. We had a lot of laughs along the way, and talked a good deal. M and T were especially kind, N and D were a lot of fun, though everyone who came had special skills and were very welcome - it was like bringing friends into my house! I am so grateful to everyone who looked after me and I know if I need care again, I will be cared for perfectly. A huge THANK YOU to everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this - it truly means a lot.
We're so pleased to hear that you felt comfortable, supported, and at ease during your care. That's exactly what we hope to achieve for every person we support, so it's wonderful to know the team made such a positive...
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding care and support you are providing.
My wife who lives with mobility and neurological issues, has greatly benefited from the high standard of care your team consistently delivers. From the outset, it has been clear that your staff not only understands her needs but approach them with sensitivity, patience and genuine compassion.
I have been particularly impressed by your professionalism and pragmatic approach. Every member of staff demonstrates both competence and a thoughtful way of working. What stands out most is the balance you achieve between being methodical and unhurried - taking the time to do things properly without ever making the experience feel rushed.
Kind regards
Delivering compassionate, person-centred care with professionalism and dignity is at the heart of what we do, so it's incredibly rewarding to know...
Would like better service for meal preparation.
However would be good if carers would pay more attention to details.
For instance read instructions on Ready meals,
We engaged the services of Bluebird Care for my elderly uncle in April 2021 when he was 89 years old. Sadly, he died in December 2024 but his dearest wish was always to remain in his own home and the wonderful care and support he received from the carers meant we were able to honour his wishes.
The carers were professional at all times and extremely kind, going the 'extra mile' if necessary to ensure he was well looked after.
If there was an issue, prompt communication with the office staff meant it was dealt with effectively.
It was so clear to all the family that our dear Uncle was very happy and well cared for and he was extremely appreciative of all the help he received.
At his funeral, it was lovely to see a number of carers attend to pay their respects to a man they called "their favourite".
Special thanks to three members of staff, in particular, from the Redbridge office. You cared for our dear Uncle as if he was one of your own.
Thank you for taking the time to review Bluebird Care Redbridge and Epping forest we appreciate your kind feedback and will ensure this is passed onto the appropriate members of the team
I want to take this opportunity to thank the two principal carers who look after my elderly stepmother who lives in Loughton. I want to give a big shout-out to a live-in carer who is amazing and looks after her as though she were her own mother. She is kind and caring and constantly seeing how she can make life interesting and comfortable for my stepmother. I would also like to mention another carer who comes in frequently at lunchtime to give my stepmother lunch (when the live-in carer is on her break). She is also very kind and caring and treats my stepmother as if she were a precious relative. I really appreciate her empathy and kindness.
Thank you for your kind review we will ensure your positive feedback is passed onto our Live in and Home Care Experts. Thank you for Choosing Bluebird Care Redbridge and Epping Forest.

They've been very helpful when we've needed extra care at short notice.

They encourage her to do things herself.
She feels very comfortable with them and enjoys their company.
The carers always update me if she is not well.

First-class service. They have been a great support to us over the last three years. They are more like family.
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review, it is really appreciated. Many thanks, Lisa.
The staff are very friendly and help me with daily needs.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide a review. We really appreciate this. Many thanks, Lisa.
Although the service provided is to a high standard, it is still very expensive when time for personal care was reduced from 1 hour - £32.95 to half an hour - £27, this is very unreasonable (50% plus something would be ok, say £20). Notice was given the day before on two occasions following a 1-night and subsequent 2-night stay in hospital, to save carers making a wasted journey. Discretion should always be used in these circumstances as it is impossible to give 28 days' notice ie minimum a reduced charge. One carer, in particular, was very extravagant with water, soap and washing up liquid, also time updating the app, all at the client's expense. I haven't won the lottery!
We value your comments and always strive to improve...
The hospital discharge process was quite complex because Dad now needs home oxygen, but she was proactive and hugely supportive along the way. Dad was assigned a wonderful carer and he is now settled in with them. It's going very well and the carer is calmly solving issues that are popping up. Most importantly, Dad is happy.
Thank you to the lead care supervisor, and the carer, for your kindness and patience. You are stars!
Chris, thank you for leaving a great review of our live in care services. We are glad Dad is settling well with his full-time care assistant. I will pass on your gratitude to the team.
Have been using Bluebird Care for my mother for a few years, having 3 visits a day. Recently she had a fall during the night. I was amazed at the speed in which Bluebird arranged for a live-in carer for a week. Within 2 hours of phoning a live-in carer was arranged and moved in. This gave me peace of mind and was able to gauge her sleeping habits and arrange a more suitable care plan for her. Exceptional service and all the carers are professional and very caring. I don’t think I could find a better care company than Bluebird.
Take care.
All carers most satisfactory and kind and helpful.
Take care,
Kind regards.
My mother is extremely happy with the care and attendance that she receives from her carers.
Take care.
Bluebird care stepped in with help and reassurance at the point we needed it most. From the office staff advising on funding for palliative care, to the care team looking after Dad, I'm so grateful for the support they have offered the family at the most stressful time in our lives.
We are extremely proud of our Epping & Harlow team, and so happy to hear that they were able to help you with funding information ensuring your dad had the best care.
Bluebird Care have provided three visits per day to support my 94-year-old mother, who suffers from dementia. They ensure her medication is taken, provide food and drink and some company. Attendance times do change, but Bluebird Care have always turned up and stay for the agreed period.

Take care, kind regards
Sharon

Meet the Team (7)
I joined Bluebird Care in 2017 having worked in care on and off since I was 17 years old.
Since joining the Southend and Rochford team I have worked hard to build good relationships with both staff and customers alike. This has enabled me to match the skills and abilities of the care worker with the needs of the customer, yielding maximum customer and staff satisfaction.
I consistently take part in regular training and I am currently working towards my QCF / NVQ Level 5 qualification.
As office manager of Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford, I oversee the professional and compassionate workings of both the office staff and care staff.
I joined Bluebird Care in October 2020 as an evening care assistant as I love helping people and making a difference in people's lives. Following a successful appraisal, I have been promoted to the new role of Rostering & Relationship Supervisor in November 2022. During my time to date, I love my job and the team I work with!
I have worked at Bluebird Care since 2018, during that time I gained the skills and experience to enable me to be promoted to the Care Supervisor role which I really enjoy and every day is different
I have recently been promoted to the role of Care Supervisor and really enjoy the role and supporting our customers.
It is important to us all that we dedicate our full-time roles to the management of Live in Care for our customers and our Live in Care assistants, to ensure this aspect of our business is managed effectively and to the highest of quality standards.
Live in Care is classed as a significant purchase, and whilst more cost-effective than a residential setting the management of each individual Live in Care package requires a lot of time and attention. If you would like to learn more about how we manage our Live in Care Package and support our Live in Care assistant please navigate to our Live in Care FAQ's under the useful information tab on our website.
Whilst we are all well experienced in this service, we never lose sight of the difference we make in our customers ’ lives. Being able to remain safe at home is a dream of many of our customers and their families. We work to make that dream a reality, ensuring that the customer is safe, happy and living their life to their full potential in the familiar surroundings of their own home.
I have been at Bluebird Care since 2014 and I am fortunate to love my job and be a part of an ‘outstanding’ team. My role is more than a “traditional finance” role, which makes it a very rewarding role – I get the opportunity to meet customers and employees and it’s an amazing feeling knowing that as a team we have made a positive difference to someone’s life and been there to support them – may that be our customers, their families or a Bluebird Care employee
