My cousin is 90 and lives on his own and is unable to walk without support. We think Covid debilitated him. We started with two days a week for an hour of care and we pop in between. Now increased to three days a week as he seems happy with the service.

My husband had Covid very badly at the beginning of lockdown. He has not lost all his mobility and has to be washed every day in the morning and have a carer come at lunchtime to do a pad change and help him generally. We could not do without our Bluebird carers as I am 92 and cannot lift him. They have been coming now for three years.

We are very happy with the service we receive from Bluebird Care. In particular, it is good that my brother normally gets the same person visiting twice a week. A high standard of cleaning is given twice a week.

The only negative is it is difficult to get ad-hoc care, and there is a waiting list to increase or change the days/times of care. Probably an indication of how in-demand Bluebird care is.

My brother and I have been extremely impressed with the service supplied by the Bluebird carers. They are usually on time, and if delayed, they apologise. They are always cheerful, professional and try to brighten up my mother’s day. She is 93 and 9-months. My mother has never complained about any aspect of her care. They are willing to put out the outside bins for collection the next day or to help with changing a sheet on the bed. My mother-in-law also had Bluebird carers for several years. They both looked forward to their visits. I knew that they were the best carers available for elderly people.

Messages were not passed on having us unsure as to whether we were going to get cover on some dates. There appears to be a lack of planning re long travelling time for the carers up to half an hour travelling could be encountered to the client's loss. Carer turned up unexpectedly we were not advised re day of arrival Sat or Sun

I employed Bluebird Care Croydon in May 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic to look after my elderly Grandmother with Alzheimer's, as I was no longer able to give her showers. We were given a carer and she has been absolutely amazing! Nan is not an easy person to look after but her carer has never been phased and looks after Nan with love and kindness. Nan even wakes up now earlier in the morning because she is so excited to see her carer. I cannot thank Bluebird Care Croydon enough for employing such wonderful carers and doing such a great job in placing them with their clients. Even when her carer was away, another carer looked after Nan as if she had always been caring for her before, meaning that I didn't have to worry one bit. Thank you for everything that you do!

Bluebird Care provided wonderful carers who looked after our father until he passed away. Our father wanted to remain in his own home and with the support of Bluebird carers, he was able to do so. The company ensured regular carers who got to know him, as well as providing personal care, the carers ensured his meals were his choice and that any tasks were carried out in the way he wanted. The carers were reliable, punctual, supported and kind. Our most sincere thanks to the team.

Very happy with the carers who come to help Mum with her eye drop medication twice a day and also, for companionship. Always appreciate their notes so I can check how she is as she has had a few falls recently, which she hasn't told me about! Office staff also very helpful, particularly if I have to make changes at short notice due to hospital appointments etc. Would recommend.

The service lived up to the high standards we'd experienced in previous dealings with Bluebird. The client is very pleased with the quality of attention she is receiving in assisting with her personal care, including the application of moisturising cream to parts of her body that she cannot reach.

Bluebird Care (Croydon) provided us with a fantastic service. My father's health problems meant that we had to increase his care needs at very short notice. The manager and her colleagues in the office were very helpful and efficient. All the carers were excellent. I definitely recommend this company.

Most of the girls have been very good at all times. I really liked a particular lady for the last 3 or more years but she left at the beginning of this month so now two ladies who come to me are good, except one wears very long nails. I don't mind but maybe not professional.
Although the price for care goes up early, I hope the carers are rewarded. They are pleasant, friendly and helpful. Some are especially good but all are willing to learn. I have used Bluebird Care since 2014 and I could not manage without them.

The owner and director, Venkat Balla, is involved in the day-to-day running of the business. Venkat comes from a background in management. Venkat has also had experience working in the health service in Watford, having worked for Watford General Hospital.
Venkat is passionate about customer service and delivering the best quality care to keep people in their own homes
Sindhu joined Bluebird Care Croydon in February 2026 and brings with her many years of experience working in Health and Social Care. Her previous roles include Quality Assurance Officer and Compliance Officer. Sindhu holds a certificate in Auditing for Compliance and has been responsible for ensuring the safe, legal delivery of Residential and Domiciliary Care Services. This has resulted in excellent knowledge of the Care Standards Regulations, policies and procedures.
Sindhu is responsible for managing all office staff, recruiting care workers and providing training. She holds Level 5 in leadership in Adult Social Care, Holds a Nursing degree and worked as a registered Nurse, Train the Trainer Certificate in Moving and Handling, Medication, Safeguarding, Basic Life Support and Dementia. 15 years of experience in DomCare, Residential Care Home and holds Level 6 certificate in Adult Mental Health Speciality. Sindhu is passionate about delivering the highest quality service to make a significant difference to people’s lives.
