I am very happy with my carers. I feel safe having a shower, whereas I could not have one before. Please leave them to look after me as they are excellent at their job. I feel relaxed in my home with my carers but not so much with young ones. Thank you.

During the past year, the overall service has deteriorated. No supervision - supervisor did not even attend the annual review with other service sector members. Confusion or errors with rosters, irregulars, inexperienced carers attending without notice/supervision. Regular staff (carers) generally good and reliable but regular errors occurring i.e medication not administered. Tojo (mattress) not switched on when daughter is put to bed. Damage in the bedroom, no training given for motorised wheelchairs, lack of communication between carers.

I am with my third company provider. One of the main problems is the timing of my calls which are sometimes unacceptable. When I was first transferred I was assured that my times would be provided as they were with the previous company. I have been left sometimes with no care or care being late.

Caremark has delivered care to my father for 3/4 years. Initially, care was good but specific care training was not to the standard required for dementia. This has now been addressed and all care is extremely good. Nice that my father has regular carers instead of different people daily. We are kept informed of any issues and Caremark are quick to respond to any queries we have. The carers are very kind, understanding and patient with my father.

Not nice when the carer dropped him. Don't like them using their phones while they are supposed to look after my husband and not staying their time i.e. only staying 10 minutes when they have half an hour here. On the whole, they are very good carers.

Very helpful, kind and considerate, always come on the time allotted and do everything asked of them. A good thing is that it's usually the same person coming every time (barring rest days) so the routine is very reassuring.

Generally, the experience is good. Clearly, on restricted time limitations, total care can be difficult. The regular carers are caring and considerate and are able to manage most requirements. However, problems do occur when it is necessary to have "stand in" carers who are not familiar with my Stepmother's requirements.

To this end I have provided a list of duties in the care book and sent a copy to Caremark to assist in these circumstances. All are common sense items that are required for her wellbeing. I have regular communication with the supervisor and see many of the carers who I find are very accommodating. Staff are good to excellent.

Caremark stepped in to support us all and provide quality care at home for my father, 91 and mother, 95. Without their support the future would be a care home, what we like is the client comes first and the commitment is 100%.
