After going through a recent surgery and recovery period, I requested the assistance of Bluebird care. They sent three different carers across one month, approximately, and they were all helpful, polite, kind, and understanding. They were very flexible when it came to the booking times and length of
treatment. I occasionally had the odd delay or early arrival vs the planned time, but that was understandable considering traffic and other factors. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

I remain as satisfied with Bluebird. My uncle lives alone and all of his friends and family live far away. We rely on Bluebird to manage my uncle's daily needs. The care management app is of great assistance to me in managing my uncle's care remotely. Bluebird management are very supportive at all
times and address my concerns clearly and promptly. Bluebird Care experts accompany my uncle to local health appointments and ensure that he wears his security pendant and that it is always kept charged. My uncle's overall intellectual capacity has declined since my last review, but Bluebird continue to apply the highest possible standards of care to him, enabling him to live happily and securely in his own home and providing myself and my friends and family with peace of mind.

The care provided to my mother has been good, carers follow through on instructions and routines. In the main, they take the time to talk to my mum and engage with her while attending to her personal needs.
However, there have been issues with keeping to scheduled times, particularly the early morning
or evening visits. Often times some carers come over 30mins late. We were initially told that if over 30mins late we would receive a call from the office, but this rarely happens. In addition, particularly out of hours it is difficult to get a response from the office.

My elderly mother has been using the services of Bluebird care for the past few years now and we are really very happy. We have a couple of carers who have been regularly with mum now for the last couple of years and she really enjoys and feels safe with them. The carers help her with breakfast, washing,
and dressing, and then help her with some lunch, and occasionally when we need an evening call they might do an evening dinner and put to bed call too.
We went with Bluebird Care after having a couple of years of disastrous experiences with other care agencies from the council, and Bluebird - even though they cost a little bit more - have never let me down. They've always been reliable and I can carry on living my own life without worrying about Bluebirds professionalism.
The carers are always on time, always update me if there's anything that needs to be shared, are very kind and gentle with mum, and communicate with her in a caring kind manner.

Bluebird demonstrate sincere caring support to the client, always respectful to the client's needs and agile to changing circumstances. Carers have demonstrated attention, patience and dedication to the client's medical, welfare and spiritual needs - ready to encourage the client to improve their well-being.
Communication
from the carer and the head office has been excellent - ready to inform the family of developments and opportunities to improve the well-being of the client Coordination with other agencies has been very good.

It has been a relief to know that Bluebird has provided continuous care regardless of the pandemic, strikes, etc. It has also been good that they have provided additional care at very short notice. Their accounting has been accurate and invoices have been received in good time and are detailed and clear.

In January ,my brother was very frail and weak. Glady was so kind to him and made him feel comfortable ,relaxed and peaceful. She was able to recognize his symptoms and adjusted her care to him accordingly.
Even at the end he was able to respond to her and expressed his appreciation.
She was also
a great support to me ,giving me encouragement and keeping my spirits up by her cheerful outlook.

We are extremely grateful for the support Bluebird provided at a very difficult time. My father-in-law had to go into hospital as an emergency and was there for many weeks. Within two days Bluebird sent us a wonderful live-in carer to be with my 91-year-old mother-in-law who has dementia.
She was
warm, kind and flexible - and also had the house looking better than it had for years! We also wanted to say how much we appreciated the calm, positive support from the office staff - always available at the end of the phone. My mother-in-law struggled on the first day when a new carer came after several weeks, but the second carer dealt with this well, remaining professional and calm. The whole family is grateful for the support and help at the time.

My carer is amazing. We clicked immediately. She quickly learned my preferences about where things go what I need and when I need it. She is very aware of my mobility issues and arranges my travel. She is an amazing cook, she is thorough and efficient and leaves the house spotless. She is a joy to have
around I wouldn't be without her.

We have been delighted with the excellent service provided by Bluebird Care. We use the service t proved companionship for my mother who lives with us, whenever we need to leave her for a few hours in the evenings they provide a regular carer each time, who mum has got to know and looks forward to spending
time with.

We needed the service of a full-time carer at short notice and it was important they had palliative care experience. Bluebird were very flexible and had people on standby until a firm date was known and then was able to provide us with a lovely carer. She looked after our friend so well for the last
short weeks of her life. She was gentle and very experienced and hardly left our friend's side. She was very understanding and also helped the friends and family throughout this difficult time, easing our concerns. I can't recommend her highly enough.

My mum’s carer is very jolly; she makes my mum smile and always treats my mum as one of her family. She is so caring and kind, and always goes above and beyond her duties. Nothing is too much for her, and my sister and I are so very grateful for the care mum is receiving. We have had other carers who
have said “oh I don’t do that “ or, “it says here that I’m only supposed to do this” which is not very helpful to an old 79-year-old with mobility issues and lots of health problems, so we are really happy and appreciate mum's carer greatly, and don’t know what we would do without her.

The two main carers I had were both highly efficient and both very hard-working, diligent and were both very kind and thoughtful. Others were good as well 2 or 3 others were capable, friendly and worked well. There was only one carer who was only interested in talking about herself.

Having reached the age of 94 years and my wife of 89, facing a long period of being in hospitals, we joined Bluebird Care and have been most impressed by the service we have received on a daily basis.
In my career in banking charity work, I have been most impressed by the ability and attention to
detail and have no hesitancy in recommending them for your attention.

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Bluebird Care Ealing is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Directors

Prafula's Story
Prafula started off as a care worker at a large care company and worked herself up to be a care coordinator but became frustrated with the way things were run. She could see inefficiencies and vast problems that made consistency of care difficult to provide. Determined that a home care company could do better she obtained all the necessary leadership and care management qualifications and founded Bluebird Care (Harrow) in 2007. Due to the great reputation, she had built in Harrow she decided to open her second franchise (Brent) in 2012 to follow in her footsteps.
“We recognise that each person is valuable and unique with his and her own purpose, personality and history”.

Munjal's Story
Munjal has a background in Business and Entrepreneurship, having worked for a number of start-ups and big companies including running his own shop.

However, through his family, he had personal experience of the poor level of care delivered and along with Prafula he passionately believed that care could and should be done better.

“The package of care is specifically tailored to the needs of our customers, and this is reviewed frequently to ensure it continues to meet the person’s needs”.
