Overall Experience

All of Dad's care needs are met with great professionalism and most, if not all, staff are conscientious to what level of care he needs. In my opinion, they go above and beyond to ensure his care needs are provided. As well as being professional, there is an element of realism with the care team treating Dad as a real human and not just as a client. Whenever I pop in to see Dad and the care team are there, they are always polite and are quick to point out any items which may need addressing such as toiletries, appliance maintenance and even shopping items. This not only facilitates Dad but also myself.

Thank you for your kind words, we will definitely be sharing them with our team. Our carers enjoy supporting Dad and we, in the office, hope you're both keeping well!

Overall Experience

We first contacted Agincare to support our mother at home in March 2023. The service provided by both the admin and care team has been exceptional. We have had to add additional days at short notice and occasionally cancel care due to hospital admissions, and there has never been an issue. We are very grateful to all the staff we have had contact with for their professionalism and understanding.

Many thanks for your feedback; we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. It's lovely to hear that you can feel free to amend the package as and when needed to suit mum's needs. Thank you for choosing Agincare to support you.

My carer came at 10:45 am. I require help when I have a body wash. The carer washed my back and put deodorant on under my arms. I have limited movement in my right shoulder and arm after a bad fall thirteen years ago. My carer always makes sure all is well when they leave. I have been with Agincare for over five years, find them the best agency I have been with to date. Efficient office staff and carers.

We find the visits are at very irregular times and some days morning medication isn’t given until nearly lunchtime. Teatime visits are sometimes as early as 2.30.

Carers are very kind and helpful and staff in the office are always happy to assist with any queries.

Reply from Victoria Duke, Registered Manager at Agincare Bristol (Home Care & Live-in Care)

Thank you for your review, your feedback is valuable. I believe there has been a regular carer allocated since mid-October for morning visits, with a regular time however the office will be in contact to discuss any specific incidents in order for us to be able to make sure there are no further incidents of poor timing in the future. Thank you for choosing Agincare.

The carers who tend to my brother's needs (two of them who go frequently) are exceptional and go above and beyond. We have good communication with them and they are professional and very helpful.
I don't know all of them but the two I do know are very understanding of his individual needs.

I can’t speak re. management as I mostly communicate through carers but whenever I have phoned the office they are polite and helpful.

Many thanks for your feedback, it's nice to hear that yourself and your brother have built these relationships with the two regular care staff that visit him. Please feel free to contact the office whenever needed and we will be happy to assist with any queries or information.

Overall Experience
Overall the carers are kind and treat me with dignity and patience. However, due to staff shortages, rotas and times often change with no notification, I have to chase the office to see who is coming and when which can add extra stress to myself and the office.

My regular carers who know the routine and treat me well have recently been changed and I rarely get to see them. The new carer is a welcome addition to the team and I enjoy her visits.

Thank you for your review, your feedback is much appreciated. Apologies for any distress caused, we will set you up with an account so that you are able to view your schedule live. I believe you now have a regular carer whom you mentioned in your feedback and it's great to hear that you enjoy their visits. Thanks again for your feedback, we will use this to improve our service wherever possible.
