Agincare UK Bristol is a provider of quality home care services in Crew's Hole, close to the heart of Bristol city itself. Care services enables clients to live independently within their own homes in Bristol and the South Gloucestershire area.

Person-centred care services are offered that include domiciliary and general home care, as well as more specialist services such palliative or complex care. Respite care is available for those that require a break.

Staff are selected that have the best possible care experience, and who are kind and compassionate.

The vetting process for candidates is very strict and any potential care staff are CRB and reference checked before selection. Staff will then undergo intensive training with an introductory three day course. Further training and ongoing support to all staff is also provided.

Staff treat clients with respect and dignity at all times.

My carer came at 10:45 am. I require help when I have a body wash. The carer washed my back and put deodorant on under my arms. I have limited movement in my right shoulder and arm after a bad fall thirteen years ago. My carer always makes sure all is well when they leave. I have been with Agincare
for over five years, find them the best agency I have been with to date. Efficient office staff and carers.

We find the visits are at very irregular times and some days morning medication isn’t given until nearly lunchtime. Teatime visits are sometimes as early as 2.30.
Carers are very kind and helpful and staff in the office are always happy to assist with any queries.

The carers who tend to my brother's needs (two of them who go frequently) are exceptional and go above and beyond. We have good communication with them and they are professional and very helpful.
I don't know all of them but the two I do know are very understanding of his individual needs.
I can’t
speak re. management as I mostly communicate through carers but whenever I have phoned the office they are polite and helpful.

The care and level of service provided by Agincare Bristol are outstanding. The daily carers are so good at their job, it gives the family complete confidence in our Mum's care and well-being. The carers treat Mum with such dignity and compassion. I would highly recommend Agincare.

Overall the carers are kind and treat me with dignity and patience. However, due to staff shortages, rotas and times often change with no notification, I have to chase the office to see who is coming and when which can add extra stress to myself and the office.
My regular carers who know the routine
and treat me well have recently been changed and I rarely get to see them. The new carer is a welcome addition to the team and I enjoy her visits.

Vicky

Vicky Duke

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2013

Vicky was promoted to Registered Manager for the Bristol branch in October 2021 and has worked in care for just over 10 years, continuously working for Agincare in different roles within the same branch in Bristol. Vicky started off as a care worker, then a Senior Care Worker, Field Care Coordinator, Deputy Manager and has now progressed to a Registered Manager.


During her time in the care sector, Vicky has gained many qualifications, including Apprenticeships Level 2, 3 & 4 in Health and Social Care. Vicky is also trained in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.


Outside of work, Vicky has a passion for photography which she has a degree.
Vicky also enjoys watching snooker, swimming and spending time with her partner, Scott and cat, Kiwi.
