Jackie then moved on to support adults in day services and in their own flats. She then moved on to work with adults and children in autism which she really enjoyed. While working as a support worker, Jackie gained her SVQ 3 in health and social care. Jackie started working with Prestige Nursing + Care in February 2016 as a care worker. In between all of this Jackie has brought up two girls who are 18 and 13 years old.
Emma joined the Edinburgh Branch in July 2013 as a trainee on our Introduction to Care scheme which provides a formal platform for the basic requirements of a care worker. Emma impressed us, with her dedication to work ensuring the highest possible standards of care were being delivered, we supported Emma into the SVQ 2 Social Services and Healthcare certification where she successfully completed the qualification in August 2015. Emma has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Carer within the Edinburgh branch.
My name is Eve Brown, I have worked in the care industry for the past 7 years, I gained my SVQ 3 level 7 in health and social care which I qualified in July 2020, I have recently joined the Edinburgh Branch as Field Care Supervisor, I look forward to working alongside the staff and service users expanding my knowledge and skills.
