The carers are very friendly and they always ask if I am ok, they shower me very well.
They take their time.

Our daughter's care has been delivered by Prestige for the past 10 years. The standard of service provided is professional, with very good communication between the management and the carers and the carers and ourselves. When it is necessary for us to communicate directly with management, the response is prompt and professional and any issues are dealt with efficiently. The team supporting our daughter have been her carers for a long period and is committed to ensuring that our daughter's health and wellbeing needs are met to a high standard.

The carer arrived at 10:15 am should be here at 9:45 am. Stands scowling at door "Have you removed the dog" she said, I replied, "Yes I have". My husband was already in the bath. She said you have to get out now, did not have time to wash his hair. He got out of the bath. Carer dried his back. She dried him a bit, not properly, helped him put clothes on and left at 10:28 am.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, we will look into what you have said of your and your husbands experience and make the appropriate adaptions.
He is blind and gets quite anxious but the carers cope with him very well.
They play countless games of dominoes and even sometimes get him out for a short walk. He is always comfortable and happy when I return.

On occasion when they are running late, management always informs me by phone to explain and inform when they will be there. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review and thank you for your kind words.
My husband came home from the hospital, don't know what I would do without the help from our carers. Very polite and professional when dealing with my husband who looks forward to them coming in the morning and the evening.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review and for your kind words.
Your staff have been helpful and efficient. Have used their own initiative as needed. Pleasant to have in the home. Look forward to continuing in 2024.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review and for your kind words.
Care is given in a very cheerful. positive, caring and dignified way.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review and for your kind words.
The staff are overworked and not enough to cover all clients who require a lot of care. Last-minute changes of clients and venues often leave them working very late. I appreciate the pandemic has created a shortfall in all occupations, and recruitment is difficult. Hope things improve sooner than later.
Thank you for your review and your understanding of the current situation affecting the care sector regards staffing. We are doing all we can to attract and retain the best carers.
Given that my wife may have 2, 3 or 4 different carers attending every morning, each week she encounters a range of individuals. Each one has their own nationality, personality and demeanour. They have all given a competent performance in washing, drying, attention to personal hygiene and have never caused my wife any psychological or physical discomfort! For all these things we are very grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
Since this care package started I have noticed a big difference in my husband, the carers are always chatting away to my husband giving him the best care possible and he has really come out his shell. If the carers notice anything unusual with him, they are always quick to let me know, which is so much better for me as I have to pass this feedback onto district nurses.
I can only state the three 'A's - my wife's carers are - Always on time, always cheerful and always competent. When things have gone wrong that are out of their control e.g. a sudden snowfall, there has been an instant re-organisation of care that leaves no gaps.
We have found the care provided to be of a very high standard. The staff are professional and knowledgeable about the tasks they are being asked to provide. They are polite and appear to genuinely enjoy what they are doing. They have been a lifeline to my mother in law as their care has allowed her to remain in her own home rather than having to go into a nursing home. We would recommend this service to anyone who requires home care.
The carers supply and excellent service they are polite and very helpful.

Jackie started working in the care environment in 1997 as a domestic in a care home. She enjoyed working in care so much that she moved on to work as a care assistant for the elderly. Jackie then moved on to support adults in day services and in their own flats. She then moved on to work with adults and children with autism, which she really enjoyed. While working as a support worker, Jackie gained her SVQ 3 in health and social care. Jackie started working with Prestige Nursing + Care in February 2016 as a care worker. In between all of this, she has brought up two girls and is now a proud Gran of two grandchildren.
Emma joined the Edinburgh Branch in July 2013 as a trainee on our Introduction to Care scheme, which provides a formal platform for the basic requirements of a care worker. Emma impressed us with her dedication to work, ensuring the highest possible standards of care were being delivered. We supported Emma into the SVQ 2 Social Services and Healthcare certification, where she successfully completed the qualification in August 2015. Emma has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Carer within the Edinburgh branch. Emma gained her SVQ 3 in 2017 and moved into the Field Care Manager post in December 2022.
