I cannot express enough how kind, helpful and supportive all the employees of this care service are. They are always at the end of a phone at any time. All the carers I've met have all been friendly and respectful.

All the carers and office staff are brilliant! I cannot recommend this company high enough.
My mother had a fall and needed carers in to help her. They were able to help immediately and we were introduced to the carers that my mum would be having which gave peace of mind. I am very particular and
I had a long list of how to look after mum. The carers were able to accommodate all of my mothers needs and nothing was too much trouble.
Very efficient but importantly very caring and took their time getting to know mum too.
I cannot thank Bluebird enough.

I can't thank "Bluebird" enough for the support & care they give to my mum. They alert me if any problems occur & support me if I need to inform a medical team about my mum. I have used other agencies but "Bluebird" are far more involved & understanding of the needs of my mum and provides me with the
support I need; I have never had that before. Thank you to everyone at "Bluebird".

Bluebird provide great care for my uncle.
The staff are friendly and attentive to my uncle and treat him with the greatest respect.
The office staff are good with communication, letting me know when things need to be addressed. They are approachable and accommodating and available all the time.

Bluebird was already attending a lady in the block of flats where my mother-in-law was a resident. I spoke to her and her daughter about the company and she gave a glowing report so I contacted them and arranged for carers to start at really short notice. My mother-in-law was discharged from hospital
on 22nd October and carers started on 23rd October. The caring ladies who came to attend to her were extremely polite, friendly and greeted her with warm smile on every visit which she reciprocated. All of the staff and especially the managerial team, treated us with dignity and respect during an extremely difficult time in our lives. Sadly mother-in-law passed away on 3rd November.

The care for Mum was exceptional, we were so pleased that we swapped care companies to Bluebird when we did. Every single member of staff should be so proud of themselves, as they are a credit to the care profession. I know that Mum enjoyed her time with all of the carers she came into contact with.
My sisters and I didn't have to worry about that side of things at all. On behalf of our family, I would like to thank you all for everything you all did for Mum.

Bluebird Care carers cared for Mum, enabling her to remain at home until the end of her life. The carers were kind, friendly and treated Mum with dignity and respect. Support was also given to the family through a very difficult time. Management was always available and gave invaluable support and advice,
particularly regarding other services able to help in our situation. Bluebird carers and management gave an excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone considering care at home!

We have found the carers from Bluebird are all kind, helpful, and conscientious and do their jobs with smiling faces. Waking my husband gently if he has had a bad night and is still asleep when they call.

Bluebird Care looked after both my mum and dad over a period of five years, in these years, Bluebird did an outstanding job and I feel they went above and beyond, caring and befriending both my parents and myself.
Bluebird was completely reliable and communication was brilliant.
I would highly recommend

Carers are punctual, friendly and do an excellent job.
It is a really big weight off my mind to know that Mum will be looked after, kept clean and happy.
Additional things, such as putting the washing on and cleaning the bath and sink, are a real help.

The care in this company comes straight down from the top, to and through the carers to all customers and also their families. All carers treat us with care, compassion, dignity, respect and understanding and have become like our wider family and friends. They enable us to stay in our own home, increasing
our quality of life enormously; a prize without measure!
My husband and I are both in our late eighties and have between us a number of comorbidities.
I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and need hoisting three times daily for some of my various care needs. Bluebird Care Stevenage & North Herts lead personnel gave us excellent advice re the best type of hoist, which was endorsed by my occupational therapist. This has also transformed my life!
So I can totally recommend Bluebird Care Stevenage & North Herts without any reservation whatsoever. They are absolute 'tops' and if there were more gold stars to award, I'd give them ten! Thank you, Bluebird from the bottom of my heart.

Bluebird provided excellent care for Mum before she passed. I had no hesitation on asking them to provide care for Dad. The care they give is amazing. They treat Dad with great dignity and respect and take the time to actually get to know him as a person. As Bluebird did with Mum, they are guiding us
though as a family, so Dad can be as happy, comfortable and safe as possible. Their support to us as a family is second to none. I trust them implicitly.

Robert Treschi

Job Title: Director Joined: 2011

I am the Director of Bluebird Care (Stevenage and North Herts). We have a dedicated team that has managed the care from this office for the last 12 years; the Care Manager, coordinator and Supervisor have a combined experience of over 35 years in care.


Having experienced first-hand the difficulties and frustrations of arranging care for my own father I am passionate to provide a service that actually puts the customer and their needs at its heart.


Excellent customer service is very important to me, and my team, and we aim to offer care that we would expect from our own family members. This is why we don’t offer 15-minute visits as we believe that is not sufficient time to offer adequate care. We also aim to have a one-to-one relationship between each customer and carer so that more personal care and friendship can be offered.


Prior to care, I have over 30 years of experience in business (including various Telecommunications companies in over 10 foreign countries) which has taught me that you are only as good as the people you employ. We, therefore, want our carers to be happy and to have a passion for caring.


I have been involved in fundraising for the Alzheimers Society and I am a Dementia Champion.
