Bluebird Care carers cared for Mum, enabling her to remain at home until the end of her life. The carers were kind, friendly and treated Mum with dignity and respect. Support was also given to the family through a very difficult time. Management was always available and gave invaluable support and advice, particularly regarding other services able to help in our situation. Bluebird carers and management gave an excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone considering care at home!

My husband and I are both in our late eighties and have between us a number of comorbidities.
I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and need hoisting three times daily for some of my various care needs. Bluebird Care Stevenage & North Herts lead personnel gave us excellent advice re the best type of hoist, which was endorsed by my occupational therapist. This has also transformed my life!

Bluebird provided excellent care for Mum before she passed. I had no hesitation on asking them to provide care for Dad. The care they give is amazing. They treat Dad with great dignity and respect and take the time to actually get to know him as a person. As Bluebird did with Mum, they are guiding us though as a family, so Dad can be as happy, comfortable and safe as possible. Their support to us as a family is second to none. I trust them implicitly.

Bluebird Care have supported my mother and in turn us for over a year. The individual carers show genuine care and concern, obviously, understand my mother as an individual person with her little quirks and have made us feel that she is in good hands. Each time I have needed to amend her care they have done their best to accommodate and my calls to the office team have been like talking to me as a friend, not just a client. These things may seem small but when you work full time having the carer team also offer family support is in my opinion invaluable. I have already passed on my thanks to the team.

From the initial contact with the administration team in the office, to the follow-up support provided by the carers on the death of our father, Bluebird excelled. Our father required a live-in carer and four additional carers to help with his additional needs. Every carer showed not only great professionalism and expertise but understanding, compassion, kindness and love. Meet the Team (1)
I am the Director of Bluebird Care (Stevenage and North Herts). We have a dedicated team that has managed the care from this office for the last 12 years; the Care Manager, coordinator and Supervisor have a combined experience of over 35 years in care.
Having experienced first-hand the difficulties and frustrations of arranging care for my own father I am passionate to provide a service that actually puts the customer and their needs at its heart.
Excellent customer service is very important to me, and my team, and we aim to offer care that we would expect from our own family members. This is why we don’t offer 15-minute visits as we believe that is not sufficient time to offer adequate care. We also aim to have a one-to-one relationship between each customer and carer so that more personal care and friendship can be offered.
Prior to care, I have over 30 years of experience in business (including various Telecommunications companies in over 10 foreign countries) which has taught me that you are only as good as the people you employ. We, therefore, want our carers to be happy and to have a passion for caring.
I have been involved in fundraising for the Alzheimers Society and I am a Dementia Champion.
