Bluebird Care have supported my mother and in turn us for over a year. The individual carers show genuine care and concern, obviously, understand my mother as an individual person with her little quirks and have made us feel that she is in good hands. Each time I have needed to amend her care they have
done their best to accommodate and my calls to the office team have been like talking to me as a friend, not just a client. These things may seem small but when you work full time having the carer team also offer family support is in my opinion invaluable. I have already passed on my thanks to the team.

From the initial contact with the administration team in the office, to the follow-up support provided by the carers on the death of our father, Bluebird excelled. Our father required a live-in carer and four additional carers to help with his additional needs. Every carer showed not only great professionalism
and expertise but understanding, compassion, kindness and love. My sister and I are indebted to them all and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Bluebird provided excellent care for my mother during the last six months of her life. The carers were very kind and thoughtful, and there was always helpful support from the office. Bluebird went to great lengths to provide extra help when needed and assist in dealing with other healthcare providers.
I cannot fault the service we received and would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird.

Bluebird have been caring for our mum for the past 2-3months. In this time they have provided an excellent service. The carers that have visited our mum have been very professional but at the same time are caring, compassionate and friendly. Our mum always looks forward to seeing them and having pleasant
chats and laughs with them. She considers them more as friends rather than carers.
Our family, my brother and sister are very grateful that Bluebird is looking after our mum as they are making our lives so much easier and relaxed knowing mum is happy. We have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Care.

Bluebird care gave personal service to 3 members of my family firstly my mother-in-law for at least 3 years until she went into a nursing home. Then due to the excellent care she received, I asked Bluebird Care to help look after my father as he has dementia and deteriorated which helped my mother so
very much, during that time the carers always checked my mother was ok and flagged up any concerns or worries to the family. When my mum became ill and dad went into a nursing home, Bluebird Care looked after mum at the end of her life, allowing us to keep her at home. They also cared for the family during this difficult time with the utmost care, support and dignity.

Since my mum moved closer to us Bluebird has been fantastic. All the team are nice, friendly and caring. The care and support my mum has had in 6 weeks has totally changed her. Mum was in a bad place before her move but now wow! what a change.
I cannot thank the team enough as I am sure I would have
lost my mum now she says she has a new life in front of her. Thank you.

Robert Treschi

Job Title: Director Joined: 2011

I am the Director of Bluebird Care (Stevenage and North Herts). We have a dedicated team that has managed the care from this office for the last 12 years; the Care Manager, coordinator and Supervisor have a combined experience of over 35 years in care.


Having experienced first-hand the difficulties and frustrations of arranging care for my own father I am passionate to provide a service that actually puts the customer and their needs at its heart.


Excellent customer service is very important to me, and my team, and we aim to offer care that we would expect from our own family members. This is why we don’t offer 15-minute visits as we believe that is not sufficient time to offer adequate care. We also aim to have a one-to-one relationship between each customer and carer so that more personal care and friendship can be offered.


Prior to care, I have over 30 years of experience in business (including various Telecommunications companies in over 10 foreign countries) which has taught me that you are only as good as the people you employ. We, therefore, want our carers to be happy and to have a passion for caring.


I have been involved in fundraising for the Alzheimers Society and I am a Dementia Champion.
