The care worker who comes to me is top-notch, but there's been a recent change of office management so things are in a state of flux at the moment. I feel that suitable settling/in time is required before I pass any comment.
We're so pleased to hear that you're happy with the care worker supporting you and that they continue to deliver such high-quality care. That means a great deal to us.
We understand that changes in office management can sometimes feel...
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
What a wonderful review - thank you for taking the time to share this. We're so proud of our team for going above and beyond to not only support your mother but also ensure she could continue enjoying her hobby and social connections. It's stories like this that remind us how important it is to...
I cannot thank NursePlus Care at home Gosport enough for the wonderful live-in carers they have supplied for my mother over the last year. They have the right balance of enabling her independence as much as possible but being there for the tasks she needs help with. It is a weight off my mind as I know she is safe and happy enabling me to enjoy my visits as a daughter rather than a carer.
Thank you for your kind words. We're so pleased to hear that our live-in care has provided your mother with the right balance of independence and support, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to enjoy your visits as a daughter. Your feedback means so much to our team, and we're grateful for your trust in our care. Please let us know if there's ever anything more we can do to help.
The manager has been amazing offering nothing but total support, advice and compassion just what you need in a time of uncertainty.
I would 100% recommend Nurseplus Gosport to anyone who needs care or anyone's relatives who need it. Well done, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Nurseplus Care at Home in Gosport. We're truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced with the previous care agency, but we are delighted that our team could provide you with the support and compassion you needed during...
Recently my brother fell from his wheelchair. His carer picked up the massive bruising on his paralysed side reporting it to her office.
He was met at the nearest medical centre, supported through admission to A&E, and visited later. Immediate care and support were given when he was discharged the following day, and extra support was given until I got there. We were supported through a visit from an occupational therapist, and an excellent suggestion was made for my brother's future safety. He has continued support when OT visits. His lifeline was repaired instantly.
I live in Scotland and visit regularly, it is a great relief to know there is such excellent support in cases of emergency.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. We are incredibly grateful for your kind words and are pleased that we've been able to provide your brother with the care and support he needs to live as independently as possible. It's great to hear that his main carer, along with our...
My father-in-law was treated with respect, dignity and care when he was at home and Nurseplus were looking after him. We were recommended Nurseplus by the hospital. He had his care increased, and at the time of his passing, he was having two carers - four times a day. Nurseplus are professional and organised - from the carers to the staff in the office. We talked and communicated regularly with Nurseplus as a family. All staff were friendly and hardworking. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your experience during such a difficult time. We are deeply touched by your words and grateful that we could be there to support your father-in-law with the respect, dignity, and care he deserved. It means a great deal to our team to know that we were able to provide the...
My overall experience has been super positive. The carers that have been assigned to us have been so friendly and helpful, just a pleasure to have in our home. This week I had an issue that required me to be at work unexpectedly and Nurseplus covered my daughter's care at short notice which was amazing service to receive. This company has given my family a new lease of life, my daughter has the best care (more like friends) which allows me to work knowing she is happy and safe. I wish I could stress more how supported I feel in the hands of Nurseplus! Thank you all.
My review is overall, I've used three care companies in total and Nurseplus is by far the best. The office is well-managed and communicative, the office manager is often the one who answers the phone, which I believe is a good thing as it means she has her finger on the pulse. The carers are a mix between family, friends and relatives, with just the amount of professionalism required. I'm lucky enough to have one dedicated carer who is without doubt a godsend, currently I cannot rate the company high enough. In conclusion I would say Nurseplus is outstanding in my opinion.
As usual, lack of communication with time slot changes. I haven’t got a problem with changing time slots, I just would like to be told it’s happening so I can be organised, especially when the time has been put forward. Otherwise good, no problems with the staff that come to me.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, we appreciate all feedback and use it to improve the service we offer. We believe that the branch team have already been in contact regarding the time slot changes and have resolved this for you. If there is anything further that you need, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
There is overall a desire to deliver excellent care and support, however this is often constrained by the delivery from some staff that seems to be less than satisfactory. Some of the staff are excellent; professional, competent and attend to the details. However, within the last month there have been examples of carelessness, i.e. leaving soiled pads in bags at the end of my mothers' bed, insisting on leaving packs of pads in the room with my mother, which degrades her dignity, leaving things out of reach, such as her glasses, or the bed adjustment switch. Additionally, I become concerned when they are replenishing her juice cups, that they do not wash out the cup, but simply refill it. I am concerned that not all staff appear to have read the care plans, and with the new on-phone information, it seems too easy for some to scroll through and tick the box, rather than being aware of actually what is required, what this means and why it can be important.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, we value it greatly and are committed to using this to improve the service we offer. We believe that the issues you raised have been dealt with and rectified by the branch already but please do not hesitate to get in touch with the team should you have any issues.
Nurseplus are a very good company and they are some fantastic carers. One is really caring and does everything I tell her to. She goes above and beyond. She cooks dinner for me and takes me out shopping.
It was the first time that I had used Nurseplus and I found them to be friendly, prompt, reliable, helpful, fun, and professional and would happily use them again. I highly recommend Nurseplus Care. Thank you to the staff.
We always have wonderful carers. My daughter is 17 and is a typical teenager. They play Xbox, bake, go out on the buses, gym and play games. Every single carer has been amazing. My daughter's confidence has grown so much. We are very lucky to have them.
It is now two years that my wife has been under the care of Nurseplus Care at home. My wife has dementia and can be very difficult (particularly in the morning) as she is totally dependant on care because she is not mobile at all. Despite that, the carers always look after her with great care and understanding of her condition and its related problems and always ensure I am okay as well as I do not have anyone else to help me. Because of this care I am able to keep my wife at home and I always look forward to their visits and appreciate that they take the time to make small talk with me. I, like many others, would highly recommend Nurseplus Care at home to anyone who needs care and support. Thank you to all the team, always ready to accommodate.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really do appreciate it. We're so glad that the Gosport team have been able to help you and your wife in the way that you need. Please do let us know if there is anything else we can support you with.
One or two can be a bit rough when rolling me.
Most are very friendly and helpful.
Queries have been taken care of.
Most have been very thoughtful and caring to me after the death of my brother and have been very helpful with looking after Audi my cat and Charlie my tortoise.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we really do appreciate it - we have taken note of your comment and ensure that the team take more care when rolling you.
The carers that he has had over time have been lovely. All I have wanted is for the amount of carers to be limited to a hand full as he suffers from Alzheimer’s. It helps him if he remembers faces. With the better weather, he has been taken out which he loves. This gives me some time to myself which I appreciate so much. There have been times when I have not been told that the carer has been changed or the time has been changed. This seems to have been taken on board as yesterday I was informed that there was a change. I really appreciated the call. Please continue with this service I am happy.
Fabulous caring and friendly carers, they treat Dad with respect and are super friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they never rush to get things done. He really looks forward to their visits, the agency is well run, prompt in communications both to us his family and to Dad. Thoroughly recommend.
Nurseplus - Homecare Services (Gosport) is the second care agency my Father has used and it is far superior to the previous one. All carers are excellent, friendly, thorough, prompt and look after my Dad brilliantly. He really looks forward to their visits and talks warmly of the friendly relationships they have built. They have played an important part in his recovery, both physically and psychologically. On an organisational level, the agency is very well organised, thorough and communicates well. My Dad gets a list each week of who will visit and what time, which is excellent. The carers are always on time, sometimes early as Dad has told them this is okay and they always stay as long as they need to, no sense of they just do the bare minimum and leave. Their information gathering is thorough, with a detailed folder completed at the beginning of the contract and staff completing the care record during each visit, so I can also see what is happening. Overall we are extremely happy with the care my Dad receives. Thank you!
My wife has been receiving support from Nurseplus - Homecare Services (Gosport) for the last six weeks and we have been delighted with the support we have received from the carers who have been friendly and compassionate with an excellent level of professionalism. This was highlighted when an incident occurred whilst two carers were attending to my wife, not only were they giving me good advise but they stayed to give details to the paramedics and give support which was very much appreciated.
I find the care very helpful, supportive and kind. Ready to do any extra aid if needed. Without this aid, life would be very difficult and I would struggle to shower or wash and dress, so essential for a normal life.

My care journey started in 2017 when I began working nights as a care assistant, working with residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. I then moved on to working days in a nursing home in early 2018 providing care for different needs including angel-man syndrome and severe learning difficulties.
Whilst there, I also took on the role of activity therapist and home hairdresser. This meant each day was different and I was lucky enough to build a much deeper bond with residents and their families. Due to having different roles in the home, I was also involved in putting together risk assessments and dealing with different professionals, which gave me some (if only a little) knowledge when starting with Nurseplus.
Working in a nursing home and seeing the difference in clients who were able to rehab and return home made me curious about different areas of the care industry that were available. I came across the coordinator position with Nurseplus and decided to go for it and so far have loved every minute of it!
I first joined the health and social care industry in 2018, I worked as a support worker, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. I then transferred to another home as a lead support worker, this was supporting adults with mental health and learning disabilities, my role as a lead support worker also included staff management. After gaining 2 years’ experience in that role I then became the deputy manager, my job role entailed the running of the home alongside the manager. A year after that I became the cover manager for the same home and I fulfilled this role for 9 months, I decided that I wanted a career change and I applied for the care coordinator role within Nurseplus and I was successful.
I really enjoy working in health & social care and I find it very rewarding to help and support individuals to live their lives to their full potential.
Since joining Nurseplus Care at home I have found the job role challenging but I am really enjoying my role!
I began working as a home care worker when I was 16 years old back in 2015, working with clients who had dementia in their own homes. From this, I went on to work as a health care support worker at Queen Alexandra Hospital and then went on to work in supported living and residential services, working with adults with learning disabilities. I enjoyed being able to build strong relationships with clients and going the extra mile to ensure that each and every client lives the best life possible.
I have previously worked with a range of clients, varying from domestic abuse to learning disabilities to working with Mental health patients in hospitals. When the position came up with Nurseplus as Home Care Coordinator I decided to go for it to challenge myself with something different; I have enjoyed meeting the clients and their families and also meeting the carers that all work incredibly hard to achieve the best for the clients.
