Little things like applying my Mum's make-up, colouring her hair, moisturising her dry skin and even feeding her foxes that visited her garden every day. All this extra care and compassion meant the world to her. Every member of the care team became a friend to my Mum and our family. My Mum would look forward to every visit with every carer genuinely interested in my Mum's conversation and life experiences. Every carer greeted Mum with a warm smile. All care tasks were carried out with diligence and to the highest standards. The care team were always so professional, punctual and in the two years never ever missed a call. As a family we were always kept informed about Mums health and welfare. I would highly recommend them.

The Independent Homecare Team have been caring for my mum for over a year and I can't recommend them highly enough. It's always a worrying time when you realise that additional support is needed for a loved one but the team have made the process so much easier and put my mind at rest.

They are friendly, supportive and consistently keep in touch, letting me know straight away if there are ever any concerns with mum. Most importantly mum is very happy and genuinely looks forward to the carers visits. They always take time to chat, build relationships and go that extra mile.

The communication is excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble.

My mum has some disabilities but having this team in place she did not have to go into a home and she can now still enjoy pop ins from neighbours and friends with the sense of still be independent.

It is my pleasure to leave a review for Independent Home Care who provided care to my mother for over 5 years. Initially it was just for showering several times a week but in the end Mum needed them 4 times a day. The care given was exceptional and Mum couldn't have remained in her home without their constant help. The girls never failed to turn up. The girls always treated her with dignity and loving care, brightening up her day with a joke or just catching up with what the girls and families had been doing. Independent Home Care's liaison with equipment providers, doctors and district and hospice nurses was amazing and the family will be forever grateful for the help they provided. We as a family could not have coped on our own. Thank you so much

I am very happy to give Independent Home Care a 5 star review. For more than five years they cared for my aging Mother through until the end. They called in three times a day to care for all her personal needs. Which they did with compassion, care and affection. They were always careful and considerate when helping her with her daily tasks and bought a level of understanding and professionalism that allowed her to maintain her self esteem and dignity throughout.

IHC staff were always cheerful and engaging and would spend time talking to my Mother which made for a lasting friendship. I can honestly say that for me and my sister, Independent Home Care provided the level of service you would wish to have for your own Mother.

I have no hesitation in giving the required markings as using this care provider for my wife for the past 6 months, we have found their performance to be exceptional in their professionalism and dedication which is exemplary. This assessment is based on our experience with two previous providers given to us as a care plan on her leaving the hospital. In both cases, the overall performance has been extremely poor.

Our Mum has been a client of the team for over a year. The carers are professional, caring, and treat Mum with dignity and respect. Communication between us as a family, and the carers is constant to ensure her needs are being met and to improve her quality of life and while continually promoting independence. We are given advanced notice by email of the carer who will be visiting and the time, and if there is any change to this we are informed. We look forward to continuing to work with the Independent Homecare team to keep our mum safe in her home environment.

Very satisfied. The carers are all competent, polite and very friendly. The schedule is adhered to as close as possible and we are notified should times change due to unforeseen circumstances.

I have been with Independent Homecare Team for over 5 years, including on and off hospital stays. In this time I have found the company very accommodating and understanding. With reference to the carers, I have regular ones who are very caring, friendly and very respectful. And you build an excellent rapport that you become very secure and safe in their care. I cannot recommend this company enough.

We have recently started to use Independent Homecare for my aunt who has dementia - they have been fantastic - there is a regular carer who comes at least 5 days a week - often 6 - who has build up a great relationship with my aunt who was resistant to having care - the app is great to see what is happening every day and the whole team are hugely responsive by email - I would highly recommend the team.

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care provided by The Independent Home Care Team. A friend recommended their services to me, and after reading the Client Welcome Pack Brochure, I was confident they were the right company for us. The Manager was incredibly helpful, offering us invaluable advice on various matters. Dad's health took a turn for the worse in the summer but once care began, the team did a brilliant job. Although Dad wasn't initially keen on the idea, it was a tremendous relief for us to know that someone was there to assist him throughout the day. This allowed us as a family to go back to spending quality time with him again. Sadly, we lost Dad in October, but we will be forever grateful for the care, advice, and support provided by The Independent Home Care Team. Your dedication and compassion made a significant difference during a challenging time, and for that, we will always be truly thankful.

The Independent Home Care Team have been looking after my relative further to a hospital stay in September 2024. When she came home, she was virtually bedbound. However, thanks to the wonderful care and encouragement from the Team, she is now mobilising and has regained some independence. I cannot thank Independent enough for everything they continue to do. I live quite a distance from her so it is very reassuring for me that she is being cared for and treated with kindness. She calls her carers her "angels" and is always pleased to see them; there is a wonderful relationship between her and all her carers. I was confident that she is in good hands from the initial assessment. Communication is excellent and if I ever have a query or need help, someone is always there for me too. Thank you all!

I am so impressed with Independent Homecare, they have been so kind and supportive of my parents. All of the carers are proactive in anticipating their needs or identifying a difficulty and then either referring on to other services or taking action themselves. It is such a relief to know that I can rely on Independent Homecare to help my parents remain as independent as possible.

The Independent Homecare Team have been caring and supporting me since November 2022. During all this time I have found them extremely dependable. They are honest, and kind and always do what they say they will do and have always treated me with respect. I am so happy I have them to turn to since my family do not live close by. My lovely mum has been receiving care from Independent Homecare Team for the last 4 years. I cannot fault the support they give me and my mum, it has been amazing. At times I have been brought near to tears by how lovely they are when caring for her. I have received messages, with suggestions of things to buy my mum, to make her life easier. They definitely go 'the extra mile'. When she was hospitalized I was in regular contact with the team trying to sort things out, and it was never too much. They truly are a fantastic team.

My carers are always warm, polite and helpful in every way, the whole team of carers that look after me treat me as if part of a big family. I thought I could not remain in my home (eventually). We are so lucky to have carers like they all are, especially the ones I personally have.
