At first, I wanted to keep the carers. They go above and beyond their duties.

We first used Independent Homecare in 2017 to look after my father when he came out of hospital and couldn't rate them highly enough. The care was fantastic and my dad was soon back on his feet.

He had another downturn this summer and as we were going away, wanted to have the peace of mind that someone caring and professional would check he was up and make sure he ate etc daily. The company were amazing and as he was a client before and they knew him the care plan was set up within the week.

Dad again made a good recovery and I can honestly say it was because of the care he received from this company.

Independent looked after y mother when she came out of hospital. I could not have managed without their support as I work full time. Mum became very fond of her carer who showed endless care and patience. This was a fantastic service all round.

Apart from a couple of 'blips' when we first started nearly 2 years ago, we have been extremely pleased with the service from Independent Homecare. All the carers are lovely with Mum and she is always pleased to see them. Recently Mum was in hospital and when she came home we had 24-hour care for a while, and all the team were brilliant.

Independent have been looking after my elderly parents at home for several years now. My Father had Parkinson's and my mother struggled to cope with his care so we had 4 support visits per day from Independent. The whole team were very caring and engaged with my parents in a very friendly and compassionate way. They have also been very flexible when we have needed to change the care routine. Sadly my father passed away last December, but we continue to have 2 visits a day for my mother both for her support and our peace of mind as we live 130 miles away. I heartily recommend the Independent Homecare Team.

I have been very impressed by the service my sister received from the team. My sister is a younger person with early onset dementia. She found it difficult to accept help and the members of the team who went to her home were very skilled at balancing respecting her wishes while still providing cleaning, medication checks etc. The notes in the folder were informative and useful as I could only visit occasionally. The team were very flexible and supportive. My sister has now moved to residential care but if she had stayed at home, I would certainly have continued to use the service.

We are lucky in that we cannot praise the carers my mother has enough. They are kind, considerate, patient and willing to engage which makes it still possible for someone with first stages of dementia still able to live on their own. Would I recommend the company, yes, but they do need more staff of the same calibre to enable them to consistently provide the same standard of care.

Great agency and staff. Carers could do with more travel time though, so they can get to the next job on time. Staff are great.

Since being very ill with a virus in May 2014, the Independent Homecare Team have cared for me completely and reliably with whatever days and length of visits I required.

As a carer, it is important to us to get feedback on my mother-in-laws situation on a day to day basis. Independent Home care Team always works with us to provide the best care available. Being flexible with needs which can change at a moments notice and the knowledge that the staff really care about their clients. I believe that working as part of a team and sharing information has benefited all concerned. We encourage feedback and we get it and are extremely grateful for all of the teams Work in looking after my mother in Law .

I hope the company is still around if I ever need carers in the future.

Independent Homecare supported myself as a live in carer and also cared for my late grandmother. From her day to day needs to end of life care at home I couldn't ask for a better company who I am still in touch with today! 100% highly recommended. Management are very hands on and always there for family support. Reliable friendly and compassionate couldn't haave asked for better for my lovely nan. Thank you all.

I found the staff to be friendly and caring, they are very helpful and flexible to a persons changing needs. I have recommended the service to friends and would use the service again in future if needed.
