The team in the office care and are extremely helpful. As a daughter, they take the pressure as they deal with other health providers. The carers again "care", treat Mum with dignity. Attention to detail - meals are well presented.

My husband, who is the service user, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke 14 years ago and needs help with washing, dressing, toileting, etc. We have used Bluebird Care (Trafford) for the past year for some respite. We have found everybody we have met extremely conscientious and always prepared to meet all
requirements in a helpful, professional manner. We are very pleased we chose Bluebird to help us.

Brilliant team, we have been using Bluebird Care for the last few months. We are very happy with the care and support that is given by all the carers. We thank them so much and have peace of mind knowing they are there for him and treating him with respect and dignity. Also being able to contact the

I am a carer for my husband. He has had dementia for 4 years, it has taken away his speech so communication is difficult. The Bluebird carer comes every other day of the week to shave, shower and dress my husband. All the carers are very kind, helpful and very professional. We are always pleased to
see them.

I wanted some help with showering and dressing after a hip replacement. Bluebird was extremely helpful about this, providing a carer on the days I required and stopping as soon as I felt OK to look after myself. The carers were all excellent and willing to do anything they could to help me.

You can have as little or as much help you need. My care plan was arranged with myself and daughter and most helpful senior staff. The plan was preparing something for lunch and my tea, shopping and laundry. To date, everything has worked out first class.

My mother and I were aware of Bluebird services through general advertising, but also through personal contacts having experienced intermittent and poor care through the local authority on being discharged from hospital. The quality of care approach and above all the support from the office has not
only impressed us but reassured us through what has been a very difficult period of convalescence. The team are experienced, super friendly and have come to feel like members of the family.

I found all the staff at Bluebird Care (Trafford) to be professional, efficient and genuinely interested in supporting and caring for my elderly, disabled mother. The carers were pleasant, positive in their outlook and conscientious. They quickly developed a meaningful, working relationship yet were
skilled enough to make it seem as though they were friends.
I would highly recommend this company.

The carers are kind and considerate. They are all pleasant and will have a laugh with me which "perks me up". They may be late on occasion for their allocated slot but they always ring me to let me know. The most delay would be about 20 minutes, but it does not happen very often. My Daughter deals with
the office staff who are always helpful.

My family were supported by an amazing group of carers from Bluebird Care. Nothing was too much trouble and at all times not only were they there to care for my mother, they offered essential support to the rest of the family and we are forever grateful to them. The last few weeks of my mother's life
could have been unbearable but with the help of a certain carer in particular (who I clearly believe was sent from Heaven) and the night carers, we were able to remain calm at all times, be one step ahead thinking about commodes/pressure bed before they became necessary added to this we even had a few laughs. I think a sense of humour is most important in times of stress and certainly helped us through.

Bluebird has provided a consistently high standard of care for my father over the last 12 months.
They treat him with care and dignity at all times.
The office staff accommodate companion visits with dad at very short notice. All carers keep comprehensive notes which allows my sister and I to keep
up to date. I also receive feedback from others when he is out with a companion and that has always been very good, very positive and dad appears to be happy.
The notes include observations and suggestions as well as facts.
They use their own initiative if appropriate. This illustrates that they care about dad e.g we asked them to start helping dad to shower. For the first time, dad shouted at the female carer when she tried to encourage him to shower. Her observation - he didn't want a female helping him shower, so we now use male carers for that task.
The female carer recognised that the issue was his pride and dignity and made sure things were changed accordingly.
I can't praise them highly enough and have recommended them to others.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.881)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.881) out of 10 for Bluebird Care Trafford is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.981 for Bluebird Care Trafford is calculated as follows: ( (52 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 53 Ratings = 4.981
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Bluebird Care Trafford is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.9
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
