We have been with Bluebird Care since February 2014 and have always been satisfied. If any problems have occurred we have always managed to sort things out.
Dear M H. Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to write us a very good testimonial. Our team really appreciates it, as well as thoroughly enjoying being of good service to you both for the last 4 years and more! Kind regards and very best wishes, Ian.
My family were supported by an amazing group of carers from Bluebird Care. Nothing was too much trouble and at all times not only were they there to care for my mother, they offered essential support to the rest of the family and we are forever grateful to them. The last few weeks of my mother's life could have been unbearable but with the help of a certain carer in particular (who I clearly believe was sent from Heaven) and the night carers, we were able to remain calm at all times, be one step ahead thinking about commodes/pressure bed before they became necessary added to this we even had a few laughs. I think a sense of humour is most important in times of stress and certainly helped us through.
Dear Susan and family. Many thanks indeed for your touching and heartwarming review of our service. We are humbled to have been of service to your mother, and are very pleased that we have made a difference to you all. It's why we exist. We will again pass on your lovely comments to the whole team. Best wishes, Ian.
They treat him with care and dignity at all times.
The office staff accommodate companion visits with dad at very short notice. All carers keep comprehensive notes which allows my sister and I to keep up to date. I also receive feedback from others when he is out with a companion and that has always been very good, very positive and dad appears to be happy.
The notes include observations and suggestions as well as facts.
They use their own initiative if appropriate. This illustrates that they care about dad e.g we asked them to start helping dad to shower. For the first time, dad shouted at the female carer when she tried to encourage him to shower. Her observation - he didn't want a female helping him shower, so we now use male carers for that task.
The female carer recognised that the issue was his pride and dignity and made sure things were changed accordingly.
I can't praise them highly enough and have recommended them to others.
Dear Alyson. Thank you very much indeed for your really lovely and insightful testimonial, it’s very much appreciated, and has been passed to our whole field care and office team. It’s a privilege to be able to support your father and you and your sister too. Thank you so much too for recommending...
My mother was the prime carer for my father who had vascular dementia. As she gradually became unwell herself, Bluebird carers gradually took over her caring and household tasks. This was initially for an hour a day through to eventually 24 hour live in care. Throughout the transition, the part time and full-time carers were very respectful, gentle and practical. They managed well the fine balance of retaining independence and providing support. The office staff were also very good, administrating sometimes unpredictable rotas.
Thank you very much for your very kind words which is really appreciated by our whole team. It's been a pleasure to be of service to you all.
It was easy to arrange, a phone call brought a visit from a team leader and a detailed explanation of what the company offered.
Living alone, I particularly liked that the care team would collect me from the hospital and I would return home with the carer and team leader. This went well and I soon became acquainted with my carer.
My carer shopped each day, prepared my meals and kept the house tidy, she reminded me to take my medication and she washed and ironed when necessary.
She did everything I would have done when fit and well.
Many thanks. It was a real pleasure to support you in your recovery from your operation.
I feel the care I receive is what I have asked for and need.
My daughter felt I had reached an age when I needed some professional help from time to time. After discussions it was agreed that 1 1/2 hours twice a week would fit the bill and has worked well.
Bluebird Trafford are the most amazing company ever. You only ever hear about the bad things that carers so I was extremely worried having to rely on a care company to help with mums needs. I had no need to worry Bluebird Trafford have gone above and beyond in caring for mum they have treated her with care Dignity and most of all treated her like she was their own mum. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they have helped to take some of the pressure off me . Mum has taken to all of the carers and even the office based staff look after mums needs, giving me ideas of different things that could help with mums needs. Truly amazing thank you so much for everything you have done.
My carer arrives on time and is most suitable. 10 out of 10!!
Thank you very much for your review. It's much appreciated by the whole team here.
Always polite and caring.
I find the carers that visit me to be mostly local ladies who's desire is to keep me in whatever I ask them to do, they are very pleasant, helpful and willing. At present my walking is poor but otherwise I manage in the home and I feel that the walking gradually gets worse but I can shower, dress, do my hair and generally keep myself clean by washing and ironing my own clothes and bedding and cooking meals myself. My daughter and her husband live locally and are both retired and take me for large food shopping to see I keep a good stock of food and i'm in daily contact with them or their families. That is for now but who knows what's for the future.
I have found your carers kind and sympathetic and helpful. I am 95 years of age and these characteristics matter to me, as it is my first experience of having to have carers.
Thank you for your lovely review. We'll pass on your comments to our carers. It means a great deal to them to hear each customer is delighted with the care they give.
Can be unreliable for time, helpful carers willing will do small jobs, good value for money.
Thank you Lois for you review of our services as overall 'Good' and overall 'good value for money'. We always work very hard to keep your times to a 15 minute window and will look at your start and finish times from our electronic records and we'll come back to you and work with you to see how we might improve. Thank you very much for your feedback - it's much appreciated.
Bluebird Care (Trafford) are a well organised agency with first class staff at all levels.
Bluebird carers are very reliable, they take time to understand what their customers want, they give meds correctly and are good company. They sometimes forget little things like having the TV mag and paper close at hand as my aunt cannot get up to get them. She is very satisfied with her care and any complaint would be dealt with straight away.
Thank you for your positive comments about Bluebird Care Trafford and for alerting us to the issue of keeping your aunt's newspaper and television guide close to hand. We'll make sure this message is passed on to our carers.
