We have been very happy with the care and service we have received for our mother from Westwood Care. The carers are all very friendly and treat our mother with care and dignity through times which have, on many occasions, been rather difficult. The management team and care coordinators have been extremely helpful and supportive, which I thank them greatly for. They have kept us up to date of situations at all times. Thank you all so much.

Using a care agency to support on son in our home is new to us this year. From the first time we met the Manager, through to the individual staff who visit our home, we have both been reassured and (very importantly) feel at eas.e the staff who visit support our son appropriately, getting to know him very quickly. This is hugely reassuring. Thank you.

Westwood Care provided care for my mum for a few years. The carers were amazing and my mum grew so fond of them. Nothing was ever too much to ask for and the office staff always bent over backwards to assist with any extra calls she required. I have recommended Westwood Care to many of my friends who are all as pleased with them as my mum and I were.

Very friendly staff, would probably still be with Westwood if they could have recruited more staff willing to work in Brough/Welton/East Yorkshire.

My dad had some of the best support. Always courteous and caring. They took the time to talk to him and encourage him. Knowing on a weekly basis who was calling, and at what time, was a great help to him and the family. Well done ladies.

I wish that I had found them a long time ago! Sadly my Husband has now had to go into a care home but I kept him at home so much longer with Westwood Care and Support Services Yorkshire Ltd's help - their service was first class and the support we got from everyone - from the lady on the reception through to all the support staff and to the carers themselves went above and beyond what we had had from anywhere else. My family and I can not thank them enough x

Our mum has been ill for several years and has needed to be cared for at home. The staff that came from Westwood Care were very caring people, always willing to go the extra mile. The manager was always available to talk to and willing to help wherever possible. Sadly our Mum passed away but without the help of Westwood, she wouldn't have been able to spend her last years in the comfort of our own home.

My niece has a degenerative condition which means that her needs change on a regular basis and the manager will come out and re-asses her all the time. Nothing is too much trouble and this gives the family reassurance that her needs are been met.

I oversee the running of Westwood Care and Support Services and Westwood Care Group. I have a passion for supporting people and helping to improve their lives through quality care and support services. I am very much hands-on and love nothing more than talking to the people we support about what it is they are looking for in a service and how we can help them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Westwood Care and Support started back in February 2011 when I left my position as Branch manager of a healthcare recruitment agency to follow my own dreams. I wanted to provide a flexible care and support service for people that offered a reliable, consistent service with a small team of Personal Assistants. We have achieved this through hard work and determination and by remaining flexible it means that the people we support are in charge of their care and our service fits in with their lifestyle. We are responsive to people’s ever-changing needs and respond accordingly. We also work closely with their social worker, family, friends and/or advocate.
