Continuity of carer is very important to me as I have said before. Staff earn their money and more. Of course they should be paid more, but I do not want to pay more. We have had 2 increases. How many pay increases have the staff had?

Over the last two years the company has increased staff pay significantly to ensure we recognise the great work our carers do and to ensure we can maintain continuity of carer for our clients. A proportion of these increases to care staff pay must be passed on to our clients, although more than half of the cost has been absorbed by the company. I understand your Care Advisor has been in touch to share further details.

We have used LifeCarers Bracknell since Christmas. Mum was assessed in the hospital by LifeCarers Bracknell to establish a level of care required and with us decided on the care plan. We have been very impressed with the care and kindness showed by all the carers that visit and would not have any hesitation
in recommending this agency in future.

The care that I get has been used for many years. I get on very well with all the carers who are kind to me and I'm very happy with the carers. There are lots of things I can't do without their help and dedication. I am very happy with this service. Thank you.

After a year of help from LifeCarers Bracknell, I have nothing but praise for the ladies who call to help us. Nothing is too much trouble they manage to talk my wife into the bathroom in order to shower or full wash where I cannot persuade her to. We have found however that communication with the office
and manager are sometimes poor or none existent. Should the carers be late or not coming till late I want to be made aware but it hasn't always happened.

We have been using the service since January 2016. The carers are invariably courteous, friendly and respectful. The agency has maintained contact when any issues (i.e. carer will be late - this is rare) or if issues with service user have arisen. Mainly we almost always have the same carer; this has
been fantastic as Mum now trusts her absolutely - a real bonus. We had two weeks in July where continuity was bad over holiday cover; wasn't good but resolved.

I have worked for Prestige Nursing & Care since 2008. I joined as a carer and have continually been committed to developing my skills and expertise in the care sector which I find extremely rewarding and has led to me being the manager for Banbury, and then Bracknell.


Since working at Prestige I have constantly developed my skills and qualifications and am proud to have achieved NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care and Management and QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care and Children and Young’s People Services.


I am passionate about my role and making a difference in our client’s and their families live making sure they feel important and safe. I support our team of carers to ensure they are happy and fulfilled. We all share the same passion for the work we do at Prestige and together as a team we deliver the absolute best care and service to our clients.
