Acacia Homecare is an award-winning domiciliary care organisation. Its services include companionship, personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, shopping support, light domestic duties, and help with social visits or appointments.

The team believes that caring for you or your loved ones goes beyond helping you get ready in the morning. You have a choice, and they are here to support you in doing the things you enjoy.

They create tailored care packages to suit individual needs, from half-hour visits once a day to multiple visits daily, or even live-in care. All customers receive free access to a family app, providing live, up-to-date information on care plans and visit tracking.

Their pricing structure is simple and consistent. Whether you choose a half-hour or one-hour rate, prices remain the same 365 days a year. There are no hidden costs, no extra charges for evenings, weekends, or bank holidays, including Christmas Day. Carers are still paid extra during these times, but customers are not charged more. Acacia Homecare also does not charge for mileage.

At Acacia Homecare, carers, known as Acacia Angels, understand that care is about more than practical support. Getting out and about can make a big difference, whether it’s a walk in the park, a picnic, or a trip to the shops. These everyday activities can help boost confidence and reduce feelings of isolation.

They recruit from diverse communities, ensuring carers understand different languages, cultures, and religions.

Staff wellbeing is a priority, with rewards, ongoing training, and development opportunities. All Acacia Angels are fully trained, DBS-checked, and working towards or hold relevant professional qualifications.

Our family friend in her late nineties has been a client of Acacia Homecare Ltd for the past three years. During this time we have found the company to be well-organised and efficient in all aspects of their care. The carers who visit four times daily are all very pleasant and friendly, caring and helpful.
As an example, on the one or two occasions, our friend has needed urgent assistance between visits, a telephone call to the office has brought quick action.

Acacia Care have been caring for firstly my mother and father and latterly my father, since 2013. Calls have altered over the years and now a live-in carer has been provided. Acacia have always responded to the changes in the level of care that we have needed. When problems have arisen they have been
promptly dealt with. The staff have always been polite, respectful and caring to both my parents and the family.

My mother needed care following a short stay in hospital. I tried several care companies but Acacia was the one that impressed. Someone visited my mother the same day and we have been pleased ever since. I have specified August 2020 as we are so grateful to Acacia staff who have continued to provide
a considerate and calming support to both my mother and other vulnerable people throughout a confusing and difficult time. Thank you, Acacia.
