Hello and welcome to Acacia Homecare, an award-winning domiciliary care organisation that provides care to people within their own homes.

Services include companionship, personal care, medication assistance, meal preparations, shopping assistance, light domestic duties, and assistance with social visits or appointments.

The team believe that caring for you or your loved ones isn’t just about helping you get ready in the morning. You have a choice, and they want to help you do the things that you want to do. The care team builds a tailored package that suits customers' needs and requirements, ranging from half-hour visits once a day to four times a day, or even live-in care.

Their pricing structure is easy and simple, whether you are on a half hour rate or one hour rate, that remains the same 365 days a year. There are no extra hidden costs such as evening/weekend rates and you don't get charged extra for bank holidays either, including Christmas day! But be rest assured that carers do get their extra pay on those occasions. Acacia Homecare also do not charge their customers for mileage.

At Acacia Homecare, carers, known as Acacia Angels, recognise that sometimes providing care isn’t enough and that getting out and about can make a big difference. Whether it's a leisurely walk in the park, a picnic, or a trip to the shops – seemingly trivial activities that most people overlook – they can play a crucial role in boosting self-esteem and supporting those who may feel isolated.

They recruit from many different communities at Acacia Homecare, ensuring that carers have relevant knowledge and understanding of various language, cultural, and religious backgrounds. They prioritise the well-being of staff by offering rewards and continuous training and development opportunities. All Acacia Angels are fully trained, hold or are working towards professional qualifications, and have undergone full DBS checks.

Acacia Care have been caring for firstly my mother and father and latterly my father, since 2013. Calls have altered over the years and now a live-in carer has been provided. Acacia have always responded to the changes in the level of care that we have needed. When problems have arisen they have been
promptly dealt with. The staff have always been polite, respectful and caring to both my parents and the family.

My mother needed care following a short stay in hospital. I tried several care companies but Acacia was the one that impressed. Someone visited my mother the same day and we have been pleased ever since. I have specified August 2020 as we are so grateful to Acacia staff who have continued to provide
a considerate and calming support to both my mother and other vulnerable people throughout a confusing and difficult time. Thank you, Acacia.
