I would definitely recommend them in the area.
Thank you for your feedback. It was indeed tough to keep up with all the changes in guidelines regarding PPE at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak. I am glad this issue was resolved as soon as possible.
My parents have received care from another agency, which fell well below my expectations, particularly as I had previously been a social worker and inspector of care services. So, when Bluebirds Greenwich was offered as an alternative agency, I took the opportunity to meet the manager at my parent’s house. At this meeting, my parents and myself were reassured that Bluebird intended to provide a good service. They have lived up to the expectations, although there of course has been the odd occasional times when the standard has slipped, but when this has been highlighted the management has addressed the issue quickly. During the lockdown, my parents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. No family members could visit but the carers and agency helped celebrate by providing flowers and a cake, then sending photos of the small celebration to family members. Again, during this difficult time, carers have also escorted my parents to outpatient appointments. I would recommend Bluebirds.
Thank you for your feedback, John. Looking after mum and dad is such a pleasure and working with you, in particular, has helped us a lot, especially during the pandemic. We are all fond of your parents and look forward to providing them with the best care there is. We always rely on feedback to help us improve our service.
Our excellent team of Bluebird carers interweave with myself and my siblings to care for my mother. The carers are kind, compassionate and reliable and this gives our family great peace of mind. Importantly, it has meant that our mother has been able to stay in her own home. The care and communication from the staff and from the office of Bluebird Care Greenwich is of a very high standard, which has been greatly appreciated in these difficult times.
Where do I start Catherine? It's a privilege to work with such an amazing family. We have been providing care for mum for so many years and working with you has made our job so easy. The carers are very fond of mum, and your response in a crisis has always been second to none. Thank you!
Bluebird Care gives us peace of mind. They are flexible and adaptable and always available to give help and advice. We first asked Bluebird for help when we were in a crisis. They came straight away. They have been helping our mum ever since. We are working together to create a safe and secure, comfortable and familiar living environment that now meets both our parent's needs now and in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback Francesca. I know what a busy schedule you have. It is such a pleasure to be involved in mum and dad's care. They are such lovely people and make the carers feel like they are members of the family. We look forward to carrying on providing a high level of care that meet your parent's needs.
They have been a good source of comfort to both my Mum and her family. I would definitely highly recommend them.
Thank you for your feedback, Jane. It is a pleasure to look after mum and get to know her. She is an amazing person and all her carers look forward to their weekly chats. We are so glad that the care provided meets her needs, and that she is getting used to our visits. It also makes our job easier when we work alongside supportive family members.
I contacted Bluebird Care and explained my mother’s situation and within 2 hours the management team arrived (full PPE) to carry out an initial assessment. I thought I would have to wait a few days for them to get a care team in place but they were fantastic and was able to provide a care assistant immediately the following morning.
Feedback from my mother- the care provided was excellent. The care assistant(s) arrived on time, ensure she was well looked after and very friendly. She was asked and given options of foods she could have. They cleaned up afterwards, didn’t leave the kitchen messy.
What I liked about the service, most days my mother had the same care assistant in place, which my mother wanted because of familiarity. The management team overall was excellent, professional, always happy to help. Highly recommended.
Hi Ann-Marie, thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate your feedback. We know how difficult and stressful it was for you and your family when mum got discharged from hospital and the whole team wanted to help as much as they could. They were hard times, but we are so proud of how far mum...
Bluebird Care Greenwich have provided excellent care to my mum over the past, very difficult, year. The organisation has been very flexible and patient as we have changed our requirements with the Coronavirus threat in mind. They have always been happy to discuss our concerns and respond to our wishes. All the carers have been brilliant at putting my mum and dad at ease and providing the care and support that they need. It has been difficult for my mum and dad to accept people into their homes as they are very independent but the carers have made it easier for them. The carers work hard to complete the tasks that they are set and still are able to have a chat and a laugh with my parents, which brightens their day. I would also like to say a thank you to the office/accounts staff who have always been quick at sorting out any queries. A real team effort. Thank you to you all.
Dear Kaye, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our lovely team also look forward to their visits as this also brightens up their day. Our aim is to support our customers to continue living independently in their homes without feeling like their lives are being taken over. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
All of the carers that have looked after my husband have been very kind, hard-working and attentive. They have made him very comfortable and familiar with themselves and the care they provide. They provide high-quality care with dignity and professionalism. The carers learned his care routine very quickly allowing them to take time to get to know my husband and his needs. The supervisors of Bluebird also keep in regular contact with their customers to ensure that they are happy with the care they are receiving and will do their best to fix anything you may not be happy with. I highly recommend Bluebird Greenwich.
Dear Lisa, thank you so much for your feedback. We have a wonderful team who always work to the best of their ability and feedback is always welcomed and appreciated!
After working for various care companies myself, for a number of years in the past, I was quite worried when my father was in need of a care package. There are amazing companies out there but also some, that leave a lot to be desired. I was lucky enough to have the Bluebirds allocated to us, which I’m so grateful for. The care team assisting my father are amazingly kind, caring and understanding to my dad who is so much happier since having his daily visits from the team. The office team are incredibly helpful and always respond promptly when I have any queries. I would happily recommend the care team to anyone looking for assistance day to day.
Dear Kerrie, thank you for your feedback. The team will be pleased to know they’re making a difference in your dad’s life. Thank you again for taking the time to share this with us.
Mum was pretty reluctant to have carers in the beginning. But I have to say, throughout the care given, it’s been amazing for her. The carers were kind and showed incredible patience and dedication. We couldn’t have done without them. She’s now formed lovely bonds with the carers and we can’t thank them enough. Not once have they let us down, even throughout the pandemic. Thank you Bluebird Greenwich.
Thank you so much for the lovely words, Deborah. It has been a blessing to see mum come out of her shell and be more accepting to care. The team of carers absolutely love your mum and will do anything for her, its nice to see that the relationship has grown so much since we first started!
I have been using Bluebird Greenwich for several years now to support me at home. They visit me several times a day and help me with all aspects of my personal care, as well as keeping a clean and tidy home. I have found both the office staff, managers and support workers who visit me at home, to be very professional, helpful, and caring. They are very reliable and have never missed a slot, even during the worst of the Covid period. On the rare occasion where someone has been delayed, I have always been kept updated. As my disability has worsened, the support I need has increased, and the team have had no difficulties in helping me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Greenwich to anyone who needs support in their own home.
Steven, thank you for the positive feedback. The carers love coming to have a chat with you and help you out. The office staff enjoy regular chats with you on the phone and it is so nice to hear that Bluebird Care has adapted to your needs so well. Thank you for all of your support over the years and here’s to many more!
I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird for home care of a person with physical disabilities, as well as dementia. I can totally rely on them to look after my friend, who always enjoys their visits. The backroom staff are most helpful, keeping me updated.
Thank you so much for your lovely words Margaret, it is a pleasure each day to look after your friend. The team have built such a good relationship with her and love being able to help in any way!
I have used Bluebird Homecare to care for my dad who is 92, I have been impressed by the the care he has received, they will try and send the same carer which helps in the beginning to help them settle in as like a lot of elderly people they don’t want the help and think they can still do it themselves. The agency has kept me informed of progress and let me know if my dad needs anything. The carers are great with my dad and he has a good relationship with them and it’s put my mind at rest that he is being looked after.
Highly recommend Bluebird carers, they cared for my mum for many years until her recent passing. They were lovely to my mum, caring for her needs including being pet friendly, all the carers made the effort, even went above and beyond. Couldn’t have coped without them. Thank you.
Hi Maria, thank you for your kind words it was a pleasure to have been able to look after a lovely person such as your mother everyone involved in her care only had nice things to say about her and the way both of you treated the staff as members of the family.
I've been with Bluebird care company for just under a year. For me, they are the best. I've had experience with other care companies for many reasons my experience with them wasn't very good. I have 4 calls a day morning, lunch, tea, bedtime, which includes personal care, on all calls preparing food, etc. All the carers are wonderful people. They are all very friendly, kind, professional, caring, considerate, reliable, respectful, empathy, patient, observant, helpful. The carers are very good at their job. They are supportive of me being as independent as possible, show me dignity when doing personal care which is very important to me. They always do their best to make it feel as comfortable as possible. I like and appreciate all my carers. The manager and all the office staff are great and wonderful people. They all will go above and beyond to make sure the care that I receive is excellent. They are all very friendly, polite, helpful, reliable respectful and professional.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback Debbie, you make it so easy to care and look after you! It's been such a great year, we look forward to the years to come.
Mum had a horrible Alzheimer's journey lasting more than 5 years, the last 3 and a half of which, she spent completely bedridden. We'd talked about things over the years and it was Mum's strong wish that she die in her own bed. The short answer to this review is simply that she got her wish on Christmas Day 2020, solely because of the support of Bluebird Care. My sisters and I chipped in, my elder sister to the point of team leader but the twice-daily seven days a week visits of the Bluebird carers made this all possible. We got a rotation of carers so got to meet many of them, some travelled by car, others by bus but they were 100% reliable and totally dedicated to their work, always showing a warm and friendly demeanour. Thank you, Bluebird. Thank you to the manager. Thank you all the great carers.
Thank you for your kind words, Cliff. It was an honour to look after your mother and a privilege to work with your amazing family. Our carers loved every minute with your mum, please accept our deepest condolences from all of us at Bluebird Care Greenwich.
They go above and beyond what I knew Carers were allowed to do, always friendly and helpful and the communication is outstanding. They really know my grandmother as an individual.
We had another company caring for her originally and the difference is astounding.
Would 100% recommend Bluebird and am so grateful to them and the peace of mind they give us.
We started using Bluebird care for my mum four years ago and she sadly passed away. Since then my dad had daily carers who built up strong relationships with him. Bluebird always tried to maintain as much consistency as they could for my dad. They were also able to step up his care as he deteriorated. Finally, my dad came home to die and needed 24-hour care which the team at Bluebird managed seamlessly such that we were totally sure he was in good hands. Every carer always treated my dad with the utmost dignity and many of the carers went well above and beyond my expectations of them. My dad was able to die peacefully in his own home which was an absolute gift especially given the current context of COVID-19. I can't thank you enough.
Since day one, Bluebird have demonstrated their dedication and care for the client in every way which is so reassuring for the client and the family. There exists a really friendly atmosphere in their office, which is very efficiently well run and supervised. The carers, who are also keenly supervised, are lovely people who have a genuine wish to please.
The ladies who do my mum's personal care are great, they understand how important it is caring for Mum, they give her the time and are always talking to her making a connection making her feel comfortable.

Meet the Team (9)
Bluebird Care Greenwich is led by Anoop Sekhon. Anoop started delivering homecare in Greenwich to help support customers in the area to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is Anoop’s absolute goal, and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Anoop holds a BSc in Business Information Technology. She has worked with the Youth Service for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for 6 years as an HR manager.
Her background in working with young people, including those with significant care needs, has inspired her to work with people with a wide range of care needs and to open Bluebird Care (Greenwich) in March 2012. She is committed to ensuring that she provides a high-quality service to the individuals she works with and that the exacting standards of Bluebird Care, UKHCA and CQC are satisfied in full.
Bluebird Care is more than a company to me. It is more than a job. It is my life and passion! I started out as a coordinator and worked my way up to becoming a manager, and it’s been a real journey full of so many emotions - good and bad, but every day I fall more in love with what I do.
I pride myself on providing the best possible service that we as a team can carry out, and the proof is in the pudding! Caring for people isn’t an errand that you just run; my heart is in this! The team I work with make this “job” so worthwhile. Such kind-hearted, hard-working people who share the same values as I do. Bluebird Care really is my family!
I joined Bluebird Care in January 2023 as the Greenwich Office Administrator, and it’s my first job in the Care industry. What I like most about my job is the team I’m working with; everyone is very supportive, and they make me feel like I’ve worked here for years. I also love the fact that we support vulnerable people to live their lives with dignity and provide them with all sorts of care in the comfort of their homes.
Working with Bluebird Care made me realise that this is the right industry for me, and I am looking forward to improving my skills and gaining more experience in the field.
I joined Bluebird Care Greenwich in January 2022 as a care assistant, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Having been promoted to a Care coordinator, I get to work in the office and interact with carers and customers from different walks of life, which is very rewarding.
Rhoda is our Care Supervisor for the Greenwich area, supporting carers out in the community to ensure care is delivered safely, consistently, and with a personal touch. She offers guidance whenever it’s needed, completes supervisions, and helps carers feel confident in following procedures and each customer’s care plan. Rhoda also keeps in regular contact with customers, checking in to make sure they’re happy with their support and to spot any ways we can improve their experience.
Sanjani, our Administrator, provides essential support to ensure the smooth running of the care service. She manages day-to-day office tasks, maintains accurate records, and assists with recruitment, compliance, and other administrative duties to support both the team and the business.
Terri started her journey with Bluebird Care in February 2021 as a care assistant. She has changed roles and been a Supervisor and Coordinator, but is now a Marketing Executive across 3 branches.
Terri manages our social media presence, ensuring Bluebird Care is effectively showcased online. She attends events to network and promote our services, engaging with customers directly and encouraging their participation to strengthen relationships and raise awareness of the support we provide.
I joined Bluebird Care Greenwich in November 2018 as an Accounts Assistant. Since the day I met the team, it was evident to me that I wasn’t just a colleague, but a member of a passionate, loving family that takes pride in what they do. I love the challenges that come with the role. I have enjoyed every moment thus far & look forward to growing more day by day from my current role as Accounts Manager.
I’ve been working with Bluebird Care for a year and a half, since coming back from a long break after Maternity Leave. I love how supportive everyone is and how easy it is to work in a team with everyone here at Bluebird. I graduated with a Finance degree and have worked in Finance since, but this has to be my most enjoyable role. I came on board with a lot of Finance skills, but I have learned much about the care industry since and have found it particularly rewarding working in this sector - even though I work in the back office, I very much enjoy that I can do my bit to help our wonderful customers. I do believe that for everyone here, it is more than just a job - when you’re made to feel like an important and essential member of the team, it makes it even easier to go that extra mile.
