As I do not live locally, Bluebird are extremely prompt in advising myself of any change in my Mum's situation. The office are very efficient, professional and friendly.
I could not have better care for my Mum, in my opinion, they are the best carers we have had for my Mum. Can not thank Bluebird Care Greenwich enough.
During the current lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when her three siblings have been unable to visit at all, my sister has been extremely well cared for by Bluebird staff. The care has been proactively managed. Due to her progressive dementia necessitating contact with the GP, 24hrs in hospital, coping with incontinence and medication refusal, let alone queuing for shopping and medical supplies and even the care of her much-loved cat (including the monthly flea treatment!). At every stage, Bluebird staff have kept us well informed and have taken the time to allay our fears and worries about our sister - even sending us photos when she was enjoying a good day! Although to her family my sister seems to be on the verge of needing full-time care, Bluebird has acted with restraint by only recommending what is truly needed but keeping the situation under constant review. We have complete confidence in the advice offered. They are always approachable and good-humored.

Meet the Team (9)
Bluebird Care Greenwich is led by Anoop Sekhon. Anoop started delivering homecare in Greenwich to help support customers in the area to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is Anoop’s absolute goal, and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Anoop holds a BSc in Business Information Technology. She has worked with the Youth Service for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for 6 years as an HR manager.
Her background in working with young people, including those with significant care needs, has inspired her to work with people with a wide range of care needs and to open Bluebird Care (Greenwich) in March 2012. She is committed to ensuring that she provides a high-quality service to the individuals she works with and that the exacting standards of Bluebird Care, UKHCA and CQC are satisfied in full.
Bluebird Care is more than a company to me. It is more than a job. It is my life and passion! I started out as a coordinator and worked my way up to becoming a manager, and it’s been a real journey full of so many emotions - good and bad, but every day I fall more in love with what I do.
I pride myself on providing the best possible service that we as a team can carry out, and the proof is in the pudding! Caring for people isn’t an errand that you just run; my heart is in this! The team I work with make this “job” so worthwhile. Such kind-hearted, hard-working people who share the same values as I do. Bluebird Care really is my family!
I joined Bluebird Care in January 2023 as the Greenwich Office Administrator, and it’s my first job in the Care industry. What I like most about my job is the team I’m working with; everyone is very supportive, and they make me feel like I’ve worked here for years. I also love the fact that we support vulnerable people to live their lives with dignity and provide them with all sorts of care in the comfort of their homes.
Working with Bluebird Care made me realise that this is the right industry for me, and I am looking forward to improving my skills and gaining more experience in the field.
I joined Bluebird Care Greenwich in January 2022 as a care assistant, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Having been promoted to a Care coordinator, I get to work in the office and interact with carers and customers from different walks of life, which is very rewarding.
Rhoda is our Care Supervisor for the Greenwich area, supporting carers out in the community to ensure care is delivered safely, consistently, and with a personal touch. She offers guidance whenever it’s needed, completes supervisions, and helps carers feel confident in following procedures and each customer’s care plan. Rhoda also keeps in regular contact with customers, checking in to make sure they’re happy with their support and to spot any ways we can improve their experience.
Sanjani, our Administrator, provides essential support to ensure the smooth running of the care service. She manages day-to-day office tasks, maintains accurate records, and assists with recruitment, compliance, and other administrative duties to support both the team and the business.
Terri started her journey with Bluebird Care in February 2021 as a care assistant. She has changed roles and been a Supervisor and Coordinator, but is now a Marketing Executive across 3 branches.
Terri manages our social media presence, ensuring Bluebird Care is effectively showcased online. She attends events to network and promote our services, engaging with customers directly and encouraging their participation to strengthen relationships and raise awareness of the support we provide.
I joined Bluebird Care Greenwich in November 2018 as an Accounts Assistant. Since the day I met the team, it was evident to me that I wasn’t just a colleague, but a member of a passionate, loving family that takes pride in what they do. I love the challenges that come with the role. I have enjoyed every moment thus far & look forward to growing more day by day from my current role as Accounts Manager.
I’ve been working with Bluebird Care for a year and a half, since coming back from a long break after Maternity Leave. I love how supportive everyone is and how easy it is to work in a team with everyone here at Bluebird. I graduated with a Finance degree and have worked in Finance since, but this has to be my most enjoyable role. I came on board with a lot of Finance skills, but I have learned much about the care industry since and have found it particularly rewarding working in this sector - even though I work in the back office, I very much enjoy that I can do my bit to help our wonderful customers. I do believe that for everyone here, it is more than just a job - when you’re made to feel like an important and essential member of the team, it makes it even easier to go that extra mile.
