Thank you particularly to the client experience manager and two other members of staff in particular for their outstanding care at a difficult time.

I have used the services of Home Instead for several years now to help my mother who lives with me and who has Vascular Dementia. She has two, sometimes three, visits daily, and this support is delivered by five different, but regular carers over the course of the week. Each carer brings their own individual special charm but all are so gentle, caring and professional when visiting. Visits are scheduled in advance so you know exactly when to expect someone and we have the same times and schedule every week which is very important for my mother who responds better when in a routine and has the familiarity of consistent caregivers. When my mother had an unexpected extended stay in hospital Home Instead suspended her care package without question and then quickly helped to reinstate the extra support needed when she was discharged so that she could return home. I always feel supported by Home Instead and cannot imagine how I would cope without them now!

Home Instead has provided an invaluable care service for our dad since his stroke in 2022. His regular carers are wonderful people, they treat him with kindness and dignity and make sure that we are kept informed about their visits via the online portal. Communication with the admin staff is good, very responsive. All in all, we feel that our dad is in safe hands.

Home Instead helped look after my mother for 18 months before she went into a Care Home. All the carers were lovely - kind, thoughtful and patient with mum, who could be difficult at times! It was hard to get carers at weekends sometimes but the weekdays were always covered. Regular reviews were carried out and any issues were sorted quickly. We particularly appreciated the calm, friendly approach from all staff at a stressful time in our lives.

Instructively, I felt that I would progress well, with support and encouragement in my home surroundings. Soon I was to discover that Home Instead would provide all those necessary factors to make this possible. Now, I look forward to many happy and fulfilling years ahead of me.

We have really enjoyed the time the carers spent with us. They have been kind, caring and willing to do whatever was needed during their visits. We have began treating them as friends. The visits are always punctual and on the odd occasion someone was unavailable a reserve took over seamlessly. I am also impressed that the office overviews the situation at home regularly - checking up on my parent's wellbeing.

Throughout this they gave him incredible support allowing him to maintain his independence and live happily at home until he was nearly 99! It provided me with peace of mind that he was being very well cared for at every visit, and that the carers built a wonderful relationship with him so he looked forward to their visits. As a company, the team were really easy to deal with, and gave me as a daughter amazing support too. Particularly at times such as when Dad returned home from hospital stays. Home Instead have provided an excellent service, from their initial consultation with the family, to caring for my relative at home. This has not been an easy task, as often carers have been met with both challenging and difficult behaviour by my relative. At all times, carers and the rest of the team have managed the situation with care and consideration. The administration team at Home Instead Horsham are extremely professional and maintain regular contact both by email and telephone, very important when a client’s safety could be compromised. I have been delighted in the care given to my mother over the last few months. Mum has been treated with great kindness by the caregivers. I have found the support given by the administration staff has also been excellent, everyone has been very helpful. Friendly and caring caters to my mother and office staff helpful and very responsive. They go the extra and genuinely seem to care about those they are supporting. This also applies to the wider family, My mother looks forward to her carer coming and never has a bad word to say about her.

We have used carers from the above agency for the last 22 months. The agency came highly recommended by 3 friends/neighbours. The standard of care given is excellent and have never varied. The carers approach the client who has Alzheimer's with great sensitivity and thoughtfulness. They also show interest and concern as to how I am coping- the live-in carer. The client is cared for as a person- every aspect of her well being comes within the scope of the service they deliver.
