Thanks to everyone at DHC for the invaluable and special support they have given us. My mother has always been so independent, but time and age have made care and support essential. We had been struggling, whilst at the same time reluctant to seek outside help. Both OT and SS gently led us towards the idea of carers, and from the first minute, the wonderful team at DHC, leaders and carers alike, dispelled any worries about having different people in with our mother 3 times a day. They are absolutely professional, so friendly and genuinely caring, and it has never felt like having strangers in the house. They are like friends for our mother, and she genuinely looks forward to their visits. And of course, she/ we could not get by without the support provided. I don't know how we did before. Personally, with DHC taking the weight of the caring needs, I've felt a shift back towards our mother-son relationship, and that's been invaluable. Thanks, DHC, you're the best.

I had Deeside Home Care for a short period after a hospital stay. They helped me get back to full health.

From initially contacting Deeside Homecare regarding support for my dad everyone I have dealt with has been helpful and supportive. Dad looks forward to his visits and has built up a good rapport with the staff and enjoys his chats

Having liaised with the management I have found them very helpful and understanding towards my mum and myself especially going forward with further care for mum.

From day 1 my very 1st phone call I have been given a professional, careing, unwaveringly kind support, they have treated dad with the up most respect, he absolutely loves the girls, chatting and having a good laugh, and in my opinion I couldn't look after dad without them .100% dedication a truly wonderful professional team x

Very prompt, efficient. Management set up plan which only took 2 days to put into effect. Personally took carers to meet my mum. Encouraged Mum to do things instead of doing it all for her. Carers very kind.

Communication was excellent and it was reassuring to know the team were only a phone call away.

Deeside Home Care are passionate about getting it right! It was a huge wrench for me to allow strangers into my dad's life. The difference they have made to my life and his is fantastic. I have several different carers provided by this company who come every morning. They're all very friendly and helpful, and I feel they go over and above the minimum that is required. They are always ready to help either in giving care or assisting with jobs around the house.

My father has recently spent some time in hospital but was unable to return home without carers. His social worker put us in touch with the Deeside Homecare team, and we couldn't be happier. All the staff are extremely supportive, thoughtful and helpful and have given him back his confidence. I cannot praise the team enough. Without them, he would most certainly have ended up in a home away from my mother.

I find the team at home care absolutely brilliant, caring and professional; they go above and above what is needed, and I credit them with ensuring my aunt's health care and well-being are being looked after at every level.

Deeside home care have been fantastic with my nana - she has some memory impairment and the girls are very supportive with this. They will sit and compassionately listen to my nana's stories at each visit and I generally feel they enjoy their time with her. They will assist with any issues and if any concerns have been noted this will get escalated immediately and relayed back to the family. The staff and management have ensured my nana's environment is safe at every visit and any risks that have been identified will either be dealt with at the time or escalated to the family.

Documentation has been thorough and clear; with the relevant information accurately displayed in a clear and structured way. All visits are within the time agreed and staff are staying for the full allocated time, we have had no issues with missed or late visits. We are very happy with the overall care that my nana has received and i would not hesitate to recommend their service.

My mother is at the stage where additional help and support is required, and after she had a spell in hospital, she was assigned a care package with Deeside Home Care and four visits a day. I am so impressed with this company, and especially the staff, the Care Coordinator rang me the day my mum came out of hospital and explained how the care team would help and support my mum and they have all been fantastic with her. She contacts me immediately if there is a problem and has helped us adjust and organise ourselves to this new normal. A great help and support, don't know how we would have coped without them.

All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring. Having previously worked for a home care company, I can see the hard work and dedication to the service users they all put in. Contact is great, always keeping us updated.

My experience with Deeside Home Care is extremely good. Very competent. Nothing to fault, the carers will bend over backwards for you. They treat me with great care and dignity, I would recommend them to anybody.

Very nice first experience with a personal visit from two senior members of staff. I felt we could fully exchange ideas on how best to manage my mother's care plan. All interactions are covered in a very comprehensive care plan. This was commented on very favourably by the local council Occupational Therapist. The folder also contained details of care visits so it is easy to see progress. All in all very pleased they make you feel part of the process and are always ready to listen to feedback.

I would have no problem recommending them to anyone I know who requires support for a family member.

We as a family feel that Mum is being well looked after and this is due to the efforts of both the team carers and the management team combined.

As I had never dealt with the care sector before - Deeside Home Care were so helpful and guided me through the process and the minefield of care!
