Excellent service through our great communication both ways and staff are fantastic. If we leave a message for carers it is acted upon promptly and any queries are resolved quickly. Professional service at all times and listen positively to our concerns if any raised.

Without the wonderful support from these carers, my husband would not be able to be at home. He has serious health issues. He loves to be at home where he is happy and secure. The carers who come to our home four times a day are very well trained. They are polite, pleasant and very supportive of me.
They also bring a little bit of sunshine into our lives!

We first started using Deeside home care in April 2023, my father is 91, partially sighted, and was struggling to manage living alone in our family home. I realised my father needed some extra support, but he was reluctant to agree to any help, I, being a retired nurse had the usual feeling that nobody
would be “good enough” to care for my father. After just one week, I was proved wrong, I had regular updates on how my father was and my father was absolutely full of praise for his carers and actually looked forward to the visits.
Deeside Home Care offered bespoke care, listened to my concerns, and provided friendly, caring, professional care for my father. I would thoroughly recommend them for anyone requiring care.

We can’t rate these ladies high enough. Totally trust them to care for my Mum with dementia. Dad was very apprehensive at first and was very hard to convince we needed help, but they’ve won him around too. They always provide excellent, prompt feedback are polite, and treat my Mum with the utmost respect.
They do everything in a very professional manner, but always with a smile.
Can’t thank them enough, and we would now be lost without them!

My mother has been receiving daily visits from the carers for some time now and it has made a great difference to her. Each carer is so loving and personable, it's a real blessing. I could not recommend them highly enough. I have been living with my mum for 15 months now and as she declines in health
I see her face light up when she sees her friends arrive. They will be an essential part of Mum's life going forward and I appreciate how they share everything with me and ask my opinion of different issues as they arise. The organisation is run extremely well right from the top, management are quick to react if Mum is sleeping and doesn't need a visit and that makes a big difference for me. They are real professionals and I would commend them to anyone.

Absolutely appalling standard of care. The care plan was never followed. Unprofessional and made my nanna feel like a burden, even though they were being paid for their services. Did not encourage medications or treatment plans to be followed no matter how much my family and their office stressed the
importance. As a nurse myself I would not only never recommend this care team, but would vehemently discourage anyone from hiring them for their family and loved ones.

We take all feedback seriously and are sorry to read your review. In the 2 years we cared for your Nanna, we felt we had a positive and close relationship with her. We strived to find the balance between meeting families wishes whilst also respecting your Nanna’s wishes. At reviews positive feedback was always recorded. Our Care Plan did not involve a “treatment plan” or the routine administration of medication. Your Nanna’s medication was removed from the Pharmacy packaging by family and placed into an unlabelled container. Therefore, in line with NICE guidelines, we cannot “encourage” anyone to take unidentifiable tablets. We haven’t had a complaint from your family but cooperated with responding to a letter that was sent to Social Services. They reviewed our evidence and stated our “response is comprehensive”. We hoped this would give some closure and understanding into your Nanna’s wishes and how we strived to deliver person centred care. We once again offer our deepest sympathy for your loss.

My mother has been using your services for over a year and we are very pleased with the pleasant and reliable staff who visit her daily. All carers in attendance to my mum have been very caring and professional. We have been informed of any issues/requests, and on occasion, when Mum has not been feeling well, the carers stayed with her until I arrived. We are very pleased with the service so far. Thank you.

My friend has recently come out of hospital. Her care team have been wonderful, caring and treating my dear friend with dignity. They have always been trustworthy, polite and excellent listeners when my friend likes to have a chat. The staff also bought flowers to welcome her home. The girls are angels

Hollybank Home Care has looked after my mum for the last couple of years and does a great job. The ladies in the office always return my calls and deal with any questions in a highly professional and efficient manner. It’s obvious that the carers have high standards and they do actually care! These

Mum has dementia and has been receiving home care from Holly Bank for 2 years. The wonderful team of carers are very professional and treat Mum with respect, patience and kindness. Mum receives physical and emotional support from these lovely, friendly girls. The folder the girls write in each visit
is invaluable to us - we use it as a two-way communication. Both management and carers are always there for us if we need advice or support. As Mum's needs increase the carers increase their support, without us even asking them. A new carer is always accompanied by a familiar carer for the first few visits, a very professional approach. When Mum feels miserable or upset her carers show such patience, kindness and understanding. A fantastic, supportive, approachable team - carers and management. My sister and I are extremely grateful, where would we be without you. Thank you all so much, you 100% deserve the Award.
