The service provided has been exceptional and truely valued. In particular the quality of the staff and their caring nature, reliability and patience is second to none.

The whole experience of starting up receiving care from Home Instead earlier in 2025 and the flexibility and changes to adapt to changes in requirements through the year has been nothing but positive and a huge help when dealing with stressful situations. Care needs change, and the team at Home Instead adapt to these changes in a proactive and caring/understanding way.

The whole Home instead team from the frontline carers and the back office team are all very helpful, caring and understanding - it really is hugely valued.

I discovered Homeinstead on google as I wanted some one to look after my feet as I can't bend having originally thought I had a bad knee but later discovered I needed a hip replacement, the young lady who is assigned to me (the same person every time) is great, we have become friends and do a lot of talking which is nice as I live alone so someone different to talk to is really nice.

My little team of Care Pro's are quite different from one another but all get the work done efficiently. I wish that one of them would spend less time telling me about her own family problems , and more time discussing the things that really interest me.( I suppose I should be flattered that she is happy to take me into her confidence but I just think her approach is a bit un-professional when she does this.)

Everyone's time-keeping is good and the Office staff are always kind and approachable on the rare occasions when I need to phone them.

We have used Home Instead for almost 2 yrs and have found them to be a very professional company with the highest standards of care, support & companionship to not only our elderly parents but as "friends" to us daughters. Since losing our dad in March 2025, our care-pro's have been so caring & supportive to us all - we cannot thank them enough.
Before we lost dad whilst he was in hospital as a family we faced some difficult decisions about how dads care cld best be provided once out of hospital. Again Home Insteads Office staff consulted with us & guided us thro processes we were unfamiliar with.

Overall we have had a very positive experience & would recommend and use them again Thank-you all.

Overall I( have been very pleased with the service provided and for the care and attention given by the Carers allocated for my needs.
On the whole Carers turn up on time and do the tasks that need to be done usually automatically. Generally speaking if I have a query I know to whom I should address my enquiry and to get it resolved. All the Carers that I have and it is usually one of three from the team

are very pleasant and helpful and if they are not available then a substitute is sent and I am notified of this.

Home instead visited my 94 year old father on a weekly basis for about a year before he moved into residential care. Despite having fantastic neighbours, it was really useful to have someone independent keeping me updated on his well-being and advise when household supplies were getting low, particularly as I live a few hours away. The App they use to record visits and pass on information was easy to use and I was updated within a few hours of each visit. Dad came to look forward to the visits as an important milestone in his week and prompt for other things that were due to happen in a particular week. The care staff were always very professional and courteous and I cannot remember a single missed visit over the whole year. The office contacts were always readily available and very helpful. I was particularly grateful when on a routine visit a carer noticed he was unwell and contacted his GP for advice which prompted a call for an ambulance. Thoroughly recommend the Home Instead team.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. It truly means the world to the team to hear how our visits supported both your dad and you, especially with the distance. Mum was adamantly refusing carers prior to us contacting Home Instead a year ago. We tried an alternate company and they were dismissed very quickly. The office based staff and the care staff at Home Instead took time to understand mum's needs and anxieties, (and my needs as primary carer) and worked with me to ensure we could manage mum's anxieties in a positive way. Mum now sees the Home Instead care staff as friends. They have increasingly taken on more duties, including personal care and mum thoroughly enjoys her time with them. The office staff are always professional & efficient and very understanding. I would highly recommend this service.

The whole process of arranging carers for my mother-in-law was very satisfactory. The care services supervisor was very professional and extremely thorough to ensure the carers allocated to my mother-in-law would meet her needs. The carers are very professional, friendly and pleasant, and provide excellent care. My mother-in-law is so happy with them and the way they look after her and there is a definite improvement in her health and wellbeing since they have been caring for her.

It can be very satisfying when something you do turns out right. That is what happened when we first contacted Home Instead. From the very start, we were impressed by the staff and when the care service provider visited us we knew that we were making the right choice. My husband who is my carer needs to have a break so every Tuesday a care pro visits to provide companionship when he is out. The two carers who come are excellent company and are very helpful. We consider Home Instead to be top of the class. It is also nice to know we got it right.

We can't fault the support we had from the whole Home Instead team, the individual carers provided lots of friendship, companionship and care for my Mum over nearly 2 years. The girls provided care daily 3 times a day, helping her with her personal care, providing her meals, management of her medications and most importantly being her friendship which Mum enjoyed. Our mum who has dementia loved to stay in her own home which the team from Home Instead helped as long as it was possible until her health deteriorated and after a hospital stay we had to move her into a care home.

Whatever the future holds we will always remember the support and care the team provided to our Mum. Thanks.

Home Instead have been providing care, companionship, and support to my mum for the past 8 months. I really don’t know where I’d be without them. I was suffering carer burnout and now once a month I have a whole weekend to myself in the knowledge Mum is being well looked after and having company. This is in addition to them providing care on a daily basis. Mum always has the same regular darers. They have been a lifeline to us both and are absolutely amazing! I have nothing but praise for them all and would totally recommend them. An hour is an hour and in that time they follow a care plan, designed so Mum's needs and wishes are met. Thank you to all of Mum's Care Pros and the team that organise a fabulous bespoke service.
