I have worked in many areas, from being a carer, senior carer, phlebotomist, aux nurse, care coordinator, manager, acting registered care manager, to Registered care manager on more than 1 occasion.
I have a deep passion for dementia and end of life.
My name is Tina, and I have been working in care since 2004. I have completed my levels 2,3 and 5 in Health & Social Care, as well as various other related qualifications in areas such as Dementia, Moving & Positioning, End of life Care, Stoma & Catheter Care.
I have worked in all aspects of care, from working with adults and children with special needs, to the elderly with dementia and Parkinson’s disease, to helping clients who require some reablement to get back to their independent life, following a fall or illness. I have a great passion for working with people who have autism and looking after those who are nearing the end of their life, and giving them the best care is an honour.
My role is mainly office-based, where I ensure that we are compliant with CQC guidelines. I am passionate about providing the best care and support to our clients. Our care is tailored to our client’s individual care needs, and we ensure that our staff are well-matched to the client. I enjoy going to the client's home and learning about their history and then completing their care plans. I like to still complete care visits so I can also see if there are any changes in their needs.
I have worked in the Care Industry for 26 years, specialising mainly in elderly care, which is an area I enjoy and thrive in. In my spare time, I like to do family research and binge-watch Crime Series on TV!
Caring for people comes naturally to me, and I could not do anything else.
I have worked for Manorcourt Homecare since May 2025 and have recently trained to become a Mental Health First Aider for my colleagues and clients.
