My father has had care for one month with Manorcourt Homecare (Clacton-On-Sea). His carers have been helpful in administering medication and in building trust and rapport with my father. He says he is relieved to have help with dressing and he enjoys them coming. As a family, we are pleased dad is so
happy and clothes are clean etc - Many thanks.

I have been a resident here for just over a year during which time the care and consideration by all members of staff has been considerate, helpful and understanding. Accommodation is good with the exception of the bathroom which I was told would be updated in the near future. Due to my own circumstances
I am unable to use the present bath or shower unit and have to be taken elsewhere three times a week when possible.

I feel mum has been looked after which gives me peace of mind. If there are any problems they phone me straight away and the problem is resolved. I have a very good relationship with all the staff and have not had any problems. I always feel they do their best and would like to take this opportunity
to say thank you and I hope the great service continues.

We find all the carers who visit to be very courteous, polite and hard working in spite of the long hours and difficult shifts.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Manorcourt Homecare to anyone else in need of carers.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.941 for Manorcourt Homecare (Clacton-On-Sea) is calculated as follows: ( (16 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 17 Ratings = 4.941

My name is Tina, and I have been working in care since 2004. I have completed my levels 2,3 and 5 in Health & Social Care, as well as various other related qualifications in areas such as Dementia, Moving & Positioning, End of life Care, Stoma & Catheter Care.

I have worked in all aspects of care, from working with adults and children with special needs, to the elderly with dementia and Parkinson’s disease, to helping clients who require some reablement to get back to their independent life, following a fall or illness. I have a great passion for working with people who have autism and looking after those who are nearing the end of their life, and giving them the best care is an honour.

My role is mainly office-based, where I ensure that we are compliant with CQC guidelines. I am passionate about providing the best care and support to our clients. Our care is tailored to our client’s individual care needs, and we ensure that our staff are well-matched to the client. I enjoy going to the client's home and learning about their history and then completing their care plans. I like to still complete care visits so I can also see if there are any changes in their needs.
