Good I get on with my support worker well.
Mum has been in the unfortunate position to have had to use other companies when discharged from hospital. I can honestly say that Manorcourt are in a different league to the two other companies used. I need carers because I cannot do things for myself. I am so pleased I have them; they help me with personal care, household duties and social visits. I find the carers really helpful, and they are very friendly. They always make sure I've got everything I need. Also, as I have social anxiety, I don't go out socialising, so it's good when the carers visit so I have got people to talk to during the day. I have nothing to say about the office staff apart from they are very rude. The carer i like and have time for is Terence Kent. He is an amazing carer.

It's early days for dad with this care provider and so far so good. Carers arrive as per schedule and are so kind to dad. It's lovely to hear how they interact with him. Dad checks his schedule diligently so knows who is coming and when. At times, the time changes but it's to dads advantage as he doesn't like a late evening call. Carers are more than happy to have banter with him and report any concerns. We were apprehensive about carers coming into our home to help care for dad but we've found the experience so far to be positive. Staffing issues have had slight impact on who provides care but it's not enough to say it's problematic at this stage. Communication with office has been good.

Carers are amazing, but the lady in the office is very condescending, rude and has no understanding or compassion. She shouted at me over the bank holiday as my new medication was wrong and I needed help with what to do. Have also heard her responses to carers who have called in my presence. Most of the carers are great. They know the routine and what we need. Some of them we have a laugh with, which is really nice. The washing part we feel comfortable with most of them. If there's a problem we ring the office and they sort it out.

Overall the carers do a good job, but there have been sometimes when some of the carers didn't do the washing up as well as it should be done, and sometimes the cleaning in my bathroom wasn't done very well. Some of the carers are a bit slap-dash doing their work in less than half an hour, when they should have up to an hour to complete their work.
We are sorry to learn that there have been occasions when the washing up and bathroom cleaning did not meet your expectations.
