Overall Experience

The care received has declined over the years. The carers do not provide high-quality care, and on many occasions, we've had to make calls and reports about the poor service received on simple tasks that they are here to provide. On many occasions, our family have come in and have found my nan with dirty clothes or bedding, and even faeces on her hands, not long after the carers have already been in. Not only have we experienced the above issues, but we have also experienced the carers wrongly administering her medication too. The carers have broken many belongings whilst caring for my nan, and it's taken months to get these items replaced. We understand things can go wrong, but it seems to be a regular occurrence. We've had multiple meetings to address this, yet nothing seems to change or improve.

The service I have received with several staff over the past 8 months, has never been less that satisfactory, and generally excellent so I have put good overall.

Overall Experience

Overall service is satisfactory and my father has become very fond of a few carers. when told his care plan was being moved to a different provider he became very upset. So overall my dad is happy which to us means everything.

My brother and I would like on behalf of Dad to thank you all for the care, attention and dedication you have shown in the months of looking after Dad.
Your support has helped him stay at home which is his greatest wish and he found all the carers kind, friendly, empathetic, dedicated, supportive, helpful and flexible to his needs.
In the latter stages of your input you stepped up his care package, were flexible to changing circumstances and responsive to alterations in medication, needs and wants.

Overall Experience

All the carers who visit my wife are superb. They are caring, careful, diligent and very professional,. They make her feel like a human being. It is the administrative support that lets Manorcourt down. Weekly schedules are not received on time, are never accurate and are constantly being changed. We are not notified of any changes. 'Out of hours' was contacted last saturday and nobody called back. Flyers are sent out with glowing spelling mistakes.

Mostly it is good but it would be good if they could check the dates on the food in the fridge and if about to go out of date and can be frozen put it into freezer.

I would be intrigued to know a week's worth of visits as not sure they are spending the time allocated to my Dad on some visits.

We have only used this service since last November, the carers who come to assist my husband appear very good at their work. They have certainly helped him mentally after his recent hospital stays. He looks forward to the days they visit.

From the start of my wife's bed care, I found the carers to be professional, thoughtful and empathetic, always mindful of my wife's condition and wishes. They are very good communicators, working well as a team, helping to keep any discomfort, eg through necessary rolling, to a minimum. They are polite, courteous and caring. There were three visits a day and they never failed to visit.

General opinion expressed is when leaving my wife as a day care visitor, that she is always made welcome and taken onto the residential area where she is integrated with the residents. Of which she is family with one or two people.
