Although we find the overall service satisfactory, our main concern is no 24-hour on-call service. Whilst working for the ambulance service, we tried to contact your agency by the phone number printed in your care plans, to find it wasn't manned.
Thank you for your review and the time taken to respond. To answer your question in regards to on-call service. We currently offer an on-call service from 6 am-9 am and 5 pm- 11 pm. Due to our on-call being manned by internal staff, outside of this, clients are advised to contact night owls. This is explained to all clients on their assessment visits. Thank you again for your review.
My father-in-law received care from June 2022 until November 2022. He was shown kindness and excellent care. The carers also showed great respect to my mother-in-law and family, at all times. Sadly he passed away this weekend, but I have written this because this last week has been very difficult, to say the least. But the carers have shown their utmost respect at every call leading up to his passing. They have shown so much compassion to him and his wife that they need to be recognised for this, especially three members in particular. Also, the coordinators have always been willing to help in any way they can. We all understand they are understaffed and under so much pressure. But these people need to get recognised for what they do, without these people you wouldn't have such a great team.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review, particularly with the recent experience and trauma your family have been under. Please accept my condolences to yourself and your family. I agree that the care staff and coordinators work under pressure. We work hard to ensure that they...
I would like to say my experience with Manorcourt, has been above average. I would recommend Manorcourt to anyone considering a care company.
Thank you so much for your fantastic review. It is kind of you to take the time to complete this. Our care team strives to ensure that the care they support you with, goes over and above. It is fantastic to see this recognised. I will ensure that your comments are passed on. Please let the care staff know, or call us if you need anything within your care.
I have been very happy with the care that my mother has received from the very beginning, as is my mother.
My mother always looks forward to the carers coming. The carers from Manor Court Care are always polite and treat my mother with dignity at all times.
Thank you Manor Court Care.
Thank you for the feedback you have given, not only to Manorcourt Care. But, for the care staff who look after your mother. I am pleased that your mother looks forward to their visit. We strive to deliver high-quality care and I will ensure that all of your mother's team receive your comments. Thank you again for your kind review, please let us know if we can do anything further for you.
Sadly the care company are very short-staffed, which means some visits are early and some are late. Hopefully, with ongoing recruitment, this will improve.
All staff are polite, caring and very positive - well done!
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am sorry to read that at times the service provided has fallen below what you expect in regards to the timings of your calls. Please let me reassure you that we are working hard in the background to recruit more staff in the team. I am proud to...
- Carers turning up almost an hour early
- Missing the carers because they've turned up almost an hour early (we are always here 45 minutes before call) and the solution was tea time call being an hour earlier.
- I kept receiving different carers who don't know me or my needs.
- My times constantly being changed.
Things do seem to be ok at the moment.
Thank you for your review and for the time you have taken to discuss your comments on the phone today. It is always helpful to receive constructive feedback to allow us to move forwards in improving the quality of care we provide. Although you have told me today that a lot of the issues you...
I am never made to feel a burden and am treated with the utmost respect. After showering my bathroom is left clean, safe and tidy and all used sanitary products are disposed of correctly.
Thank you for taking the time to complete your review. It is lovely to read that the office have been accommodating to the changes you have needed. It is also lovely to read that the care staff are taking the time to ensure that all of your needs are met and are treating you with such dignity. We...
All carers are professional with a sense of humour. They treat me with dignity. I sometimes feel that they are in a hurry at evening calls, perhaps you should have dedicated evening staff?

It helps us to adapt and ensure we are remaining in line with current circumstances. Thank you again and please be rest assured that your commentary will be shared to all those in the branch team here at Thetford.
The support I receive from Manorcourt Homecare (Thetford) is tip top. I have an "A-team" of regular carers that support me in all aspects of care. They bring the sunshine into my daily life. Any problem I have is taken care of. They certainly know how to care
Having regular carers who know me makes me feel safe and secure. Nothing is too much trouble for them, My days are easier to get through with their help, personal care, meals prepared, they are my lifeline.
On the whole, the caring is acceptable and covers what is required. As with other businesses, some carers are better than others ie: by carrying out more than is expected or the bare minimum. Communication is excellent directly with carers which is paramount. My mother is happy with the care she receives, which is great; we have continuity with the same carers who know her and her needs.
Good service provider. Most carers are hardworking, office staff are friendly and willing to help.
We find the staff all very helpful, caring, willing to listen and making time to the best of their ability.
In the 2 and a half years of using this care company I have always been treated as important with my care needs paramount. Always kind and courteous.
care is excellent with staff who listen and act.
I have had care for 54 years and in my opinion, you cannot get a better care company. My team go out of their way to provide, help and do all they can to assist in my daily living.
The carers are exactly as the name suggests and are almost always on time.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Manorcourt to any potential clients.
Manorcourt have been visiting my mum for a year now. It has been an absolute weight off my mind knowing someone is going in daily to give Mum some company. The girls are cheerful and have a laugh with Mum and although she is completely independent they help her with shopping or anything else she needs. Can’t praise them enough!
We have only just recently started to have Manorcourt care come out to my nan. What a difference it has made. My nan is a lot happier since having the carers. We couldn't ask for a better team of carers to take care of her.
Thank you so much for spending the time in writing such a positive 5* review. I will be sharing this with my amazing team.
My mother-in-law has known Manorcourt carers since they provided home care for my father-in-law until his death in 2008. Some of the carers are still with the company which indicates to me that it has a stable workforce. The care plans are promptly and thoroughly put in place with input from both the client and their family. Care visits are prompt apart from the very occasional unavoidable emergency situation arising. The office has then kept us up-to-date with the situation and they have never missed a visit. The carers are caring, friendly and professional and understanding of my mother-in-law's needs. They report back to their office with any concerns which are promptly passed to me by email or telephone. The office or a person on duty is always contactable 24/7 should an emergency or pressing concern arise. Any concerns are promptly and efficiently handled and I would say I have found it very easy to deal with the office staff who are very willing to help.
Thank you for taking the time in writing such a glowing 5* review. I will certainly share with my wonderful team who deserve this praise. We are so pleased that you are so happy with the service we provide.
Thanks, guys.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this wonderful review which I will share with my amazing team. It is a pleasure to care for your Mum and so pleased to hear she is so happy with her carers.
