My brother and I would like on behalf of Dad to thank you all for the care, attention and dedication you have shown in the months of looking after Dad.
Your support has helped him stay at home which is his greatest wish and he found all the carers kind, friendly, empathetic, dedicated, supportive,
helpful and flexible to his needs.
In the latter stages of your input you stepped up his care package, were flexible to changing circumstances and responsive to alterations in medication, needs and wants.
Thank you all.

My wife Julia has Manor Court as her home carer. The carers who come into our home are always kind and helpful. Overall we find them efficient, and will always inform me if any problems like pressure sores or similar that might be developing. My wife Julia is not a private patient and therefore is part
funded by the council, however overall we are happy with the service provided.

My husband was cared for extremely well. The carers were really kind compassionate and gentle and responded to his requests during his care. They were really kind and friendly towards myself and my son and daughter especially during the sad and stressful few weeks at the end of his life. He connected
with them and when able had a lovely conversation with the carers. The care that was shown was amazing and all of the carers had a lot of empathy and a real credit to the caring profession which is very difficult and unglamourous profession. Thank you.

A mix across the board some carers are amazing, and some I have found pleasant but come across they wish to leave as soon as possible, while missing few tasks even after being asked. The management I have found to be very helpful, happy and polite. I feel bad putting my score as middle of the board
but I always try to be honest so that it can be seen and tweaked. It's all small little issues mostly nothing major.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the care which they gave to mum during her last few months at home. Mum was a very private person, and could be hard to please, but from the first visit, she was very happy with the carers, and became very fond of them. As her family, we were always kept well
informed about any issues which arose, and we knew that she was receiving the very best of care from a dedicated and very supportive team. Thank you to each and every one of you.
Reply from Tamsin Warren, Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Brooke)Thankyou for taking the time to leave this review. Mum was very well thought of by all of the team, and Im glad that we were able to offer the support she and you needed. She is missed. Best wishes

Carers treat client with care and dignity. They get on well with her. Only negative comment is occasions when we are not informed of time/care visits. This can result for example of dining when carer arrives. Carers themselves usually text if they are going to be late or want to come early. It is annoying
to have to phone to find out time of next visit.
Reply from Anne-Marie Brown, Registered Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)We are pleased you are happy with the overall service you are receiving. All the carers who visit my wife are superb. They are caring, careful, diligent and very professional,. They make her feel like a human being. It is the administrative support that lets Manorcourt down. Weekly schedules are not received on time, are never accurate and are constantly being changed. We
are not notified of any changes. 'Out of hours' was contacted last saturday and nobody called back. Flyers are sent out with glowing spelling mistakes.
Reply from Danielle Sterne, Healthcare Home Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Thetford)Thank you for your review. It is always good to hear the good and bad. As your new Branch Manager I reassure you that these are key areas that are being handled with care to improve. Lovely to hear that our wonderful carers are "superb" with your wife, this feedback will mean a lot to them. Thank you again Danielle & Team

This company does not even warrant one star! In one week, they failed to administer medication. 3 of those days, failed to meet clients call times, turn up for lunch calls at 2.30 in the afternoon. Lost key to home, left key safe unlocked and on opening code. Staff failed to read care plans, left client
without fall pendant and earring aids. No beds made or tidied and curtains left closed.
Reply from Martin Kirkup, Marketing Director at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you found it necessary to take this action to make us aware of your concerns, but I wanted to let you know that we are fully investigating the issues you have raised and we will contact you with some answers as soon as possible. We are conscious that your care was transferred to our service from another provider only very recently and this may have adversely impacted on the continuity of your care.

Carers are struggling with PPE. So thin and cheap. Office staff don't listen to what you say or seem to care.
A carer broke my brand-new toilet.
Reply from Anne-Marie Brown, Registered Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)All staff are supplied with PPE that are to government standards. We will call in relation to your toilet as this has not been brought to our attention. We are however pleased you scored the staff and your treatment so highly.

Stressful. Was supposed to take some pressure away but created work with numerous phone calls and emails. Arrival times were not consistent and not policed/flagged when they were out of service time. Standard hygiene basics were not done, for example, wiping the commode seat, so I was wiping traces
of faeces myself after they'd emptied the commode. Didn't always do as asked/paid to do so I ended up doing myself. Took months to get them to change the bed sheets - for some reason, this was too much for the staff to do once a week but we got there in the end after a complaint - however, there is no complaint procedure in place. The company needs better controls in place to ensure best practice is adhered to and complaints are taken seriously and followed up with details of what to do next if you are not happy - eg the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014: Regulation 16.
A disappointing 9 month's experience.
The staff were ok. One in particular was attentive.

Service has gone downhill. Three days a week it's good when we have regular carers. There are a few really good ones but unfortunately not many. We have had some recently drench the bedroom carpet with urine, then left without saying a word. Others have refused to change his pad saying not dirty enough.
Constantly late which causes him pain, discomfort and exhaustion. He now will not get up unless he knows that it's going to be one of the good ones coming. When I complain to the office I am told they will get back to me but they do not.
Reply from Anne-Marie Brown, Registered Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)I'm sorry you have felt the need to leave a bad review. I understand it was addressed the incident in the bedroom and the care co reported her findings back to you. There has been vast roadworks in the area for the last 12 months which I agree have caused issues for the staff to get through. Hopefully, this will be rectified soon when they come to a close.
