Crown Home Care

We chose to get help from Crown Care with a personal recommendation and we haven't been disappointed. The attention to detail and the way they treat my husband with respect and gentle care is very comforting for me. He was not entirely in agreement with Carers coming in at first but now appreciates their care and the help it gives me.

My mother and family are delighted with Crown home care, the communication is excellent and the staff are all lovely to deal with. The rota is emailed to the family a few days before the following week and the times suit my mother vey well. Highly recommend !!

Jodie and her team are fantastic. My mother has had visits from a number of carers in the team all of whom have been wonderful - particular praise for Marta who is outstanding. Jodie is always so kind and supportive, with huge flexibility to respond to situations as they change. I cannot fault their service and am very reassured that mum is getting such good quality care.

Crown supply 2 very competent and engaging companionship carers 2 afternoons per week for 3 hours each time for my wife, who loves their visits. I'm very pleased with the arrangement. This gives me chance to do stuff that gets done more efficiently if I'm alone.

Carers were and are considerate and professional. They understood very quickly our needs and remembered them without reminding. Perhaps more importantly, they were cheerful and could communicate well.

We have daily care for my Dad every morning, whilst primarily there to assist with showering and shaving, they are also now taking him for short walks and doing number and word puzzles with him. When time allows they are also doing tasks around the house like changing the bed, cleaning the kitchen sink and downstairs toilet. Cannot recommend the professionalism of the back office team and the empathy of the visiting care team enough. Thank you.

Couldn't have wished for a nicer company to deal with. We did interview various local carers for my mum and dad, some of which were very expensive and all whistles and bells, but Crown Home Care came across more personal and we gave them a go. We were so pleased with the help that they offered my parents and they would always mention anything that they were concerned about with regards mum and dad. Unfortunately, mum has dementia and has now moved into a home and we no longer need them anymore but we would highly recommend them. Thank you again to all the managers and all of the carers that came to the house, thank you.

I just wish to say that I am very happy with the carer provided to me. My only disappointment is to have been charged for days when no carer had to attend due to my sudden admission to hospital.

In general the care has been good. The carers are polite and caring. We are pleased that we generally have the same carers, as this helps with my husband's confusion, and the office have been helpful with our needs.

I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Crown - we needed to put in place 24-hour care at home care for my mother who has dementia at short notice, following the death of my father. The care staff have been brilliant, resulting in a real uplift in my mother's quality of life and the management and support staff are great at communicating with clients.

My aunt has been supported by Crown Home Care for some time now and I am extremely grateful for all they have done. Her main carer has been brilliant and my aunt enjoys her company. Her notes are always helpful and I know she is in good hands. The agency staff are great at flagging any issues and have been very helpful when we have requested any changes in my aunt's schedule, including finding a live-in carer for a couple of weeks when it was necessary. Crown Home Care has made it possible for my aunt, who is in her 90s, to stay in her own home and that has been a real bonus.

Crown Care consistently provide the best care for my mother who has dementia. Communication with the office is excellent, the carers go over and above to ensure Mum is comfortable, happy and healthy. I feel confident that she is getting the best care.

My mother has been receiving care from Crown Home Care for some time now and we are all delighted with the care and dedication each member of staff shows her. Her two main carers are delightful, kind, caring and compassionate. They have taken the time to really get to know our mother and genuinely care about her day-to-day wellbeing. The administration team at the office are proactive and keeps me up to date with any changes in my mother’s condition. They are efficient and organised. Nothing is too much trouble. The friendly office team provide flexible on-the-spot support and their excellent communication together with the care planning app provides us with daily reassurance and peace of mind. Having thought previously that the only option to care for Mum would be a residential care home, happily Crown Home Care has proved otherwise.

It has taken my dad's in-home carer companion just six weeks to transform my fiercely independent and care-resistant 92-year-old widowed dad, who'd left the hospital in a wheelchair following a fall, into a beamingly happy, well-fed, properly medicated, walking, cycling, wood-chopping croquet-playing chap again, able to enjoy his own home to the full. The impact of the carer-companion from Crown has been astounding. Aside from a truly bewildering range of practical skills - great cook, clinically trained, great driver, able to strip down vacuum cleaners and lawnmowers, even willing to be taught croquet, she is energetic and empathic to a quite extraordinary degree. She has been a joy. As for the administrative side of Crown Home Care, it also is exceptional - they move fast, they have immaculate processes, and it's clear to all our family that they really, really care. Outstanding on every count.
