I am extremely satisfied with the standard of care which I have received over the last 4 weeks, the care has been entirely person-centered, with the majority of my needs being appropriately attended to. The areas which have not been appropriately attended to are under review and I am satisfied that an appropriate resolution will be identified and applied moving forward. My care team are committed, competent, dedicated individuals who have contributed significantly to an improvement in my quality of life. I have no concerns regarding the quality of the care being provided.
The company providing my care are extremely outstanding. I'm very happy with the care I receive.
I have to thank the team so much for looking after my mum. The carers are fantastic, an absolute joy and so respectful. The office runs smoothly and the new management team are great. Huge thanks to all the staff who have made the care transition so smooth.
All staff and management I have found are kind, supportive and encouragement at this very difficult time for my mother (the client) my sister and myself often going the extra mile to help us.
The carers treat issues professionally. Some calls are missed by the carers however, this was addressed. some carers are more professional than others and all communication is dealt with efficiently.
Carers are pleasant, very helpful and willing. Help with mealtimes, washing, laundry, general cleaning, shopping.

Meet the Team (3)
I’m the franchise owner, here at Caremark Harrogate.
After university, I volunteered in a care home and loved it so much that I knew that care and support were where I belonged. Nearly thirty years later, I can definitely say it was the right decision. More recently, in July 2022, I had the opportunity to purchase Caremark Harrogate.
Since then, as a team, we have been focussing on developing the services we provide and building a strong business. I’m really proud to be able to create jobs for local people and to help them provide brilliant care and support services.
If I’m not working, I’m often in the garden or the kitchen – ideally cooking fresh veg grown in my garden.
I’m Ben, and I am a co-director at Caremark Harrogate.
I have run my own business for over 15 years. I have always been focused on the wellbeing of other people – which I have done in other ventures – and so when the opportunity to run Caremark in Harrogate was available to me, it was something that felt like a natural progression.
I like to be busy, and am always doing something! I love gardening, decorating, arts and travel. Canada is my favorite country to visit!
My role is to ensure our clients are safe and receive the best possible care, and how we do this is by ensuring our carers have the training, tools, support and clarity of what they need to do and how. Culture plays a huge part in this, and we are a team with strong values and a desire to develop and progress in the ways we work.
I’m a people-first leader who truly enjoys what care can do for others—so much so that this is my third role within Caremark!
Before joining Caremark, I held senior roles in both SME and global businesses, always centring my work on organisational performance, culture transformation, and leadership development. It’s a genuine passion of mine to see individuals, teams and businesses flourish.
