My husband had My Care at Home support for around a year. Unfortunately due to his illness he's being looked after elsewhere. In that time, they were very supportive to my husband and myself, they informed me if unforseen issues arose when couldn't get cover on the odd occasion. The carers who came
were very understanding of my husband's needs and treated him with respect and had time for him especially after we had block care. I can't name names but one stood out and we are very grateful to that person.

The process of getting my mother registered was very quick but also very thorough. Visits started within a few days after I was emailed a rota with times and names of the carers visits.
Any unavoidable changes due to illness etc. are emailed promptly.
It is a great comfort to have someone calling
on my mother every morning for a chat and make sure she is ok. She really looks forward to the visits and she is so much brighter and more positive.

This is the first time I have used a carer service. I was initially extremely impressed with the Care Manager visit as there was clear regard to safety guidelines for both the carer and the client; my partner's needs were considered and assessed - it was extremely thorough, in a good way! The carers
are clearly extremely well trained with how to care for someone with dementia. They carry out light housework and also sit with my partner for lunch and chat to him. They are caring and respectful of us and our home and, as I found with the care manager, they are extremely professional in all they do. I feel completely at home with inviting them to look after my partner, knowing he is safe and happy in their company. Importantly, you can rely on the carer turning up - if there is a last minute issue, the office sort it so you always have cover thus I can book appointments knowing I won't have to cancel at the last minute. On Fridays, you get confirmation for the following week.

The care my parents received from My Care was outstanding. All the staff were professional, reliable, prompt, polite and very caring. We were kept fully informed and the whole process worked really smoothly and efficiently. The agency were receptive to changing requirements and fitted in extra hours
and sessions as required as soon as they had capacity. We appreciate all that the whole team did for our parents which enabled them to live in their own home as long as possible, we can’t thank them enough for their help and support.

My Care at Home have provided my brother with care and support for 2 years. They are such lovely, caring people, we could not be happier with the way they have helped him, and us, we all feel supported. The carers are always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, if I need to call the office for

I found the girls kind to Mum and respectful. Always helped to make it easier for us as a family. Reliable 98%, only bad weather, flooded roads were a problem but turned up as soon they could. Always kept me informed if there was a problem with anything.

My Care at Home were until recently providing care and support to my brother who had a brain injury at birth. He recently passed away and we want to put a review on here to let people know just what an amazing company they are.
The carers were always so bubbly and friendly, they knew just how to handle
things for my brother. They would notice when he was low or worried and they always let me know if they had any concerns about his well-being, which meant a lot to me, as I could not be with him as much as I would have liked to have been.
The staff came up with ideas to help him and us and without their support I know full well he would not have been as happy as he was, Their visits gave him purpose, he so looked forward to seeing them, they would even take him out in their car for a drive and to the shops. And they gave our family peace of mind, knowing he was enjoying visits from people who clearly cared about the job they do. We were so lucky to have found them.

Super knowledgeable, super friendly, super carers. The team care for my father, who has Parkinson’s disease and Dementia. A thorough and respectful care review was made at the beginning of his care journey, and a further care review was made after a hospital stay to ensure every detail and preference
had been considered. Every carer takes the time to make a real connection with Dad. I feel reassured knowing they are with him morning and evening, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

My husband was very reluctant to have carers in to support but soon changed his mind. Every carer that came in treated him with the utmost respect and we’re extremely caring and professional. My husband was given a prognosis of 8-12 weeks due to cancer and not only did they care for him but always asked
how was I was. Just an hour a day gave me a break to go for a coffee knowing that he was happy being left with the wonderful carers.

My Care at Home provides an excellent, friendly and reliable service. The service is well led by the care manager, who assessed Mum's support needs on an ongoing basis as her health deteriorated, overseeing appropriate packages of care. Mum enjoyed the visits from the support staff - seeing the staff
as 'friends'. As she was not always open to receiving the support she required, the staff worked discreetly and diplomatically to deliver this to the best of their ability. I was kept informed of any concerns or requirements for additional support on an ongoing basis. I appreciated the emotional support the staff provided to me during a difficult time. My Care at Home have demonstrated an excellent team approach and have provided holistic support for client and family alike.

Caring, compassionate and treats my mum like a member of their family.

All staff are extremely kind and patient with my grandmother. They have kept her safe with their high hygiene standards throughout the last few months due to the Coronavirus. Extremely professional and excellent communication.
The carers are well trained, dependable, friendly and professional. Always on time and never rush the care no matter the circumstances. They treat my wife with dignity and patience.
This is not the cheapest care service provider but the standard
of care provided are proof of the saying that you get what you pay for. Having used 5 different care providers over the last 11 years, there is no doubt that My Care at Home are the very best we have used.
