Over all time Burgundy Care Services Ltd has 32 reviews.
My experience of Burgundy Care Services is generally very good; depending rather between different carers in circumstances. I find them all willing to help with anything I need, within the time allowed. They are all very cheerful and we always have a good laugh about things. Although they do have to spend a lot of time writing the log sheets etc.
Overall very impressed with the service. A little more consistency with timings of visits but appreciate the difficulties with this. Ideally would like regular familiar carers but again appreciate the difficulty of guaranteeing this.
Burgundy Care provides a sitting call to my mum once a month, they take her out for the day, wherever she fancies going. My mum looks forward to this time and it gives my dad a much-needed break.
Not reliable, fail to turn up on several occasions.
Poor communication with clients e.g. change the time of care but failed to inform the client.
The standard of care/carer very variable.
It's how quickly can we complete this task and move on to the next one. This is despite there being more time left in the allocated period of care.
Thank you for your feedback, I am aware that due to the recent heavy snow and your rural location the care team have struggled to attend the call. I am speaking to the care team regarding how long they are at the call and if there are any other tasks that can be completed. We will contact you to discuss your concerns in more detail.
I have always found Burgundy Care Services to be an excellent company and would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending them to anyone who asked about them.
The service is responsive to our care needs and they try to accommodate most requests.
Thank you for your kind words I will pass them onto Maria.
Burgundy Care (Huddersfield) has provided care for my wife over the last 4 years - when Vascular Dementia slowly eroded her ability (physical and mental) to cope with everyday functions - toileting, washing, dealing with double incontinence and associated aids (not feeding, drink and washing soiled clothes).
The carers' ages range from late teens to mid-50s, most of the latter being grandmas. Over the past 4 years, our carers have 'settled down' to regular attendance by the same 6-8 faces which has led to a well established and settled routine.
Time factor is not a major criteria, although their 4 daily visits are logged at 30 minutes each. They remain until the care needed has been delivered. Their use of equipment - sling, hoist, commode and reclining chair, is knowledgeable and caring.
Management is easily accessible, helpful and accommodating. I believe this care company provides good value for the fees paid.
The last four years have been a pleasure. I will pass on your lovely words to the care team.
Happy with all aspects of care received. No complaints.
Thank you for your lovely words, I will make sure they are passed on to the team.
Provides a good service, responsive to the needs of my Mother-in-Law.
Thank you for your kind review.
My Mum and I could not wish for better compassionate and dedicated care, both for Mum at present and over the last year, for Dad until his recent death. When phoning, long distance, and asking how things are going or inquiring about a problem you have a friendly reassuring voice on the end of the phone and know relatives are in good hands.
Thank you so much, it has been a pleasure looking after both your Mother and your Father.
Very caring company, I have no bad comments to make.
Only been let down twice when one of the workers slept over.
The office staff are caring that everything should go right.
I am very pleased that my Aunt is looked after.
Thank you for your kind words.
No complaints very satisfied with the company and all the carers who visit me once a day as agreed.
