We were slightly anxious about getting care for Mum for a two-week break but after meeting the manager, she put us at ease as she understood Mum's needs instinctively. The lovely live-in carer we had for Mum was excellent and we had every faith in her. She was professional and supportive and treated Mum with dignity. She was conscientious in maintaining Mum's personal care and hygiene, as well as keeping the house clean and tidy. All in all, a great complete care package and we would have no hesitation in recommending Alina Homecare to anyone.

Hopefully one day I will go on holiday again.

The manager and the team at Alina Brighton looked after my father from around 2015 at which time he broke his hip and needed extra support and was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome. As the years went by and his health deteriorated they were there not only to help and support him but also myself. They looked after him during the hardest of times, Covid and were always kind, helpful and professional. I cannot praise this company highly enough and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone needing care and support.

My mother became unresponsive during an early morning call. Her carer was quick to proceed with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bringing my mother back to consciousness. Without the care and attention, this may have been a different outcome but thankfully not. I am thankful for their skill and experience, in a somewhat stressful situation for them. Thank you.

Alina provided exceptional service at short notice for my wife when I suddenly went into hospital. She was looked after day and night until I returned. Her care couldn't have been any better. I would recommend this company any time.

At the end of 2020, my husband had a major stroke, it left him with aphasia which means complex communication difficulties, he was also my carer because I have Cerebral Palsy. It became very clear that we both would need care at home and Alina Homecare was on our doorstep, we are very lucky because the Brighton Branch are brilliant. They are very professional, and patient, and they always find time and salutation in overcoming any problems that might occur. They are centred around the client (service user). Alina has worked so hard in putting in place a package of care that meet our needs. My husband and I are so thankful to the team for all their hard work in getting us that right support. They really are very helpful and supportive in everything they do, in being an Alina client we do have peace of mind and I would recommend the service to family and friends. I can say that Alina, Brighton will move mountains to meet the needs of their clients, and the level of care and support.

Alina Homecare provided daily care for our mother for about a year as her dementia progressed and she needed help with getting up and personal care. Alina Homecare did their best to provide the same care staff each week and they built a lovely relationship with our mother, encouraging her in a gentle and humourous way which she responded to very well - we know she enjoyed her chats with the staff. As well as the care staff, we found the manager was also very understanding and responsive whenever we phoned. We were overall very happy with Alina Homecare and would recommend them to other families.

We have been very happy with Alina's care and would recommend them to anyone for their professional approach to my sister-in-law who has dementia and her husband who is now too ill to be at home so they are both going into a care home.

I am prompted to write this review because my son got married on Saturday and so staff had the task to ready me for this special celebration that involved a lot of attention to detail and the watchwords of - patience, enthusiasm, professionalism and going the extra mile, all came into play and in spades to boot. Bravo!

My relative had been receiving care for over three years, but sadly passed on the 13th of May 2022. The care and comfort provided by Alina were of the highest standard and contributed significantly to my relative's quality of life in her final years. The carers and staff at Alina worked closely with the family, ensuring my relative was safe and comfortable, sometimes under difficult circumstances. The carers were always compassionate, patient and completely reliable. My relative and the family send our sincerest thanks to all at Alina for the care and support they provided and would happily recommend their services.

Alina have looked after our mother for many years in her own home up to April 2022 and have always been professional, kind, and friendly. They have always tried to adapt to mum's changing needs and provided personal care of a high standard. The carers' visits are often the high point of Mum's day and several of them have become close to Mum and spend time chatting to her, which means the world to her. She views them more as friends than carers. We would like to thank all the staff at Alina for everything they have done for our mother and would highly recommend them to anyone considering their services.

I was badly let down by another care company at the 11th hour and Alina were very reassuring and quick to get things set up for my mother at quite short notice. I was particularly impressed by the communication. The phone was always answered promptly, emails replied to very swiftly and I was often able to speak to the care manager that I had met during the assessment. This continuity of contact really helped. During the period of care, my mother received from Alina I was impressed by the reliability of the carers and by the concern that was shown to help my mother obtain the care that felt right for her. I spoke to some of the carers on the phone and they always showed kind concern for mum, were anxious to provide the best they could, and were quick to let me know if there were any worries.

Alina Homecare have been looking after my aunt since August 2020 and despite the problems of lockdown Alina Homecare have provided her with the very best 24-hour care possible. The team of carers are all wonderful and everything provided is done according to my aunt’s wishes. I would thoroughly recommend Alina Homecare as providing the very best type of care.

Since early 2021, Alina has provided home care for our 79-year-old mum who has dementia. We were anxious initially with no prior experience but the service has been exceptional. The agency itself has been highly professional, alerting us to any concerns they have or queries relating to the care and wellbeing of our mum. Every member of staff we have dealt with has been really helpful and responsive, adding in visits or changing times even at short notice. Most importantly, the care and support the team has provided to our mum has been superb. She tells us about her 'lovely ladies' and, whilst she doesn't always remember their names, she describes the different personalities and how they have helped her - talking about flowers and nature on a walk, having a good chat and a laugh or cooking her a particularly nice dinner. We are so grateful for the quality of care we have from Alina and couldn't recommend them highly enough. They have given us complete peace of mind.

Our mum came out of hospital in February 2021 with the need for a 24 hour live-in carer. Alina have supplied at least six lovely ladies to live in with Mum. They have all been amazing and have looked after Mum just as we would have done. Mum has dementia and doesn’t really remember them all, but we as a family do and have kept In touch with some of them. The whole team at Alina are caring and helpful. Thank you also for the lovely relief carers who continue to come in and look after mum and chat to her, she loves seeing them all!

Alina supply my mother currently, and my father in the past, with carers as they have done for the last 10 years(approx). They are always very kind and helpful and give great care to my parents. They spend time getting to understand the clients' needs and also work closely with our family to provide what my parents have required over the years.

I would like to thank Alina Homecare for the excellent care provided to my mother as she transitioned to her end-of-life pathway. Mum was only able to remain at home thanks to the excellent, professional, and dedicated care provided by Alina. I cannot speak highly enough about the kindness and friendliness the carers showed to my mother. I am especially grateful to my mother's main live-in carer. The carer was sympathetic and skilled at managing Mum's changing needs up until the end, which the family are so grateful for. I want to say how grateful I am to Alina Homecare and their wonderful staff for having taken such good care of my friend over the last four and a half years. It was a real weight off my mind to know that I could rely on a conscientious and caring set of staff to visit and look after her and the consistently high standard of care was impressive and reassuring. There was always a willingness to make sure that she was settled and happy and she really looked forward to seeing them. From the office staff to the carers themselves everyone was friendly and professional and you really feel that you are getting a bespoke, personalised service.
