Right at Home (South Trafford)

My elderly aunt has been receiving care from Right at Home (South Trafford) for over eighteen months now and this has enabled her to stay in her own home despite her frailty and medical conditions. The standard of care she has received has been superlative; her carers are kind, efficient and flexible, carrying out tasks as required (from helping her to shower in the morning, doing household chores, cooking a meal, to providing chat and companionship). It is particularly constructive to have one designated carer who attends most of the time; my aunt’s main carer has become a good friend and my aunt looks forward to her visits. The manager and the office team are also very patient and helpful and care for their clients as individuals. My aunt’s quality of life has significantly improved with the care she has received from Right at Home, and I would highly recommend them.

Right at Home (South Trafford) have been looking after my father for a couple of months now. I wanted to write a review now as I am amazed at how efficient and professional all of the carers are that come to take care of him. They have taken a huge weight off my mind knowing he is in good hands. They have even supported me with advice on all things I know nothing about in the way of what help is out there for Dad as I’m sure if you're reading this, you will know the whole process is very confusing. They are always on time and really do go out of their way to help if things are not going to plan within his care. Even popping in and out of their own schedules to check on him. His care is still ongoing and we are looking for a live-in carer moving forward and I know that he will have the right person to do this. If you are looking up who can help you, I would stop searching the internet for other companies as I can’t stress enough that you have already found the best.

Mum, terminally ill, was only a client from early December until she could no longer remain at home in Mid- February this year. However, in that time, the service she received was excellent from all her caregivers but particularly from her lead caregiver, who often went above and beyond the call of duty to the extent that in that short time, mum came to regard her as a good friend.

From the attentive, efficient and caring management team to the impressive caregivers, I cannot thank them enough for their attitude and efforts, and only wish their standards could be universal throughout the sector. I would have no hesitation in recommending them highly and it was a pleasure doing business with them from start to finish. They certainly enriched my mum’s few short months with them.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to provide care for a relative. I am always able to speak to a friendly member of staff on the phone, and nothing is too much trouble. It is a weight off my mind knowing that this is in place.

We have been using the services of Right at Home for several months now and we are very satisfied with the service and the care given to my mother. My mother finds the main carer very pleasant, kind and always smiling. I live abroad and this gives me great peace of mind.

Mum has only been receiving care from Right at Home for just 2 weeks but I can already see an improvement in her general wellbeing. The staff and carers are friendly, helpful, well organised and genuinely seem to care for mum, nothing is too much trouble. She is already settled with her carers and enjoys their visits, her mood has lifted and she has started responding to them. I have been kept informed right the way through the process and receive regular phone calls from the carer, who is fabulous, really well organised and keeps on top of everything. I also met the manager on the first visit, who is a lovely caring person. I am very impressed by the level and quality of care from these providers and have no hesitation in recommending them.

My brother and I have been using the services of Right at Home for over 3 years now for my 98-year-old mother. Initially, she had 3 visits a day to prepare meals and help with the household chores and more recently we have progressed to a live-in carer as she has become more frail.

I can’t praise the manager and his team enough! Nothing is too much trouble and he always keeps my brother and myself informed as to any issues or concerns whatever the time of day or night.

My mum has liked all the carers provided and has become fond of the manager, as he sometimes calls in just for a chat with her.

Right at Home (South Trafford) have been looking after my father for quite some time. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The manager and his team went out of their way to make sure that his every need was catered for. Sadly dad passed away last month and I know for sure that he would have wanted me to provide a glowing reference for them. In the latter years, he had an awful lot of medical conditions that needed attention. They took all of these under their stride and looked after him so well. From my sister, brother and I, thank you so much for everything.

We were delighted with the service provided by ‘Right At Home’ for the support of my mother. We were made to feel straightaway that the service was all about the needs of the individual and so it proved to be. My mother, a dementia sufferer, benefitted greatly from the visits of the carers, who provided support for her in a variety of ways. The service was flexible, adapting to changing circumstances, and the carers were always on time and very attentive. I would have no hesitation in recommending ‘Right At Home’.

It was a huge decision for my family to appoint carers for Mum who suffers from dementia. Initially, Mum was adamant that she did not want carers coming into her home but the situation was becoming increasingly difficult both for her and the family. I can't emphasise how much 'Right At Home' carers have changed both Mum's and our lives to the point that the family as a whole could not survive without them. The team that care for Mum consist of four ladies and Mum is now very fond of all of them. I understand that all members of the team are NVQ qualified (or taking the qualification) in caring for someone with dementia, so much so that the family often refer to them for advice on dealing with Mum's behaviour. This advice has been so valuable to us in dealing with Mum's condition. The ladies treat Mum with dignity and compassion and nothing is too much trouble. Without hesitation, I recommend this company to anybody thinking of appointing an outstanding and professional caring team.

Our son is happy with their assistance and that, in turn, makes us, as parents, happy and reassured that the care being provided is right for our family's need.

Thank goodness that we found them and that they, in turn, were able to provide the necessary care with efficiency and to such an impressive standard.

We have a regular carer who came to look after my mum and who comes to stay with us. She is 86 and a very private person she was brilliant with her. And mum felt she kept her dignity very much. Thank you for all you did.

My mother had a fall a few weeks ago which affected her mobility badly and also contributed to the onset of other health complications resulting in a huge change in her ability to take care of herself within a short period of time. I found Right at Home (South Trafford) on the website and can only say what fantastic help they provided to our mother when she needed it most. All the staff were very professional and compassionate in every degree. Thanks again from my mother and myself.

Right from the start, we as a family felt completely amazed at the level of care all the girls provided for my Grandad. Our situation was very hard but all the staff were incredible and regularly kept me up to speed with an update on my Grandad's progress. My Grandad sang their praises and he came on leaps and bounds, I would highly recommend Right at Home to anyone who needs extra care because it gave all my family peace of mind that my Grandad was getting the extra care he needed. I want to thank you for making what has been a stressful decision much easier for myself and my parents. I knew my mum and dad wanted to stay in their own home but were reluctant to accept help or support as they were "managing". We knew they would feel apprehensive and I wanted to try and make it as painless as possible. I wanted to make sure they were at the centre of their care as well as being safe. As a healthcare professional myself I could see my parents struggling to keep on top of things but living 120 miles away I was struggling to support them. I have certainly found a care agency that truly looks after my parents. I cannot thank the team enough for the support and ongoing advice they have given me. I feel completely assured that my mum and dad are truly getting the best and if there are any problems I get a call. It is hard to introduce carers to my (previously) independent mother who is reluctant to admit she needs any help and support when the support is as much for us, her family, as for her. Right at Home has a introduced a wonderful carer for my mother and made it easy, the service is truly faultless, kind and compassionate, and bodes well for the future when we can anticipate needing to increase the level of support needed.

They are diligent in all they do, flexible and professional.

We can not thank the care team at Right at Home enough, we have had carers for my mother and father several times over the years, and we have never been pleased with the service provided. We are thrilled with everything the whole team have done for us, mum has enjoyed the carers company immensely. Working away from the UK and organising emergency care providers can be very stressful, the manager and the team, supported and helped me, having everything in place to enable my mum to come home from the hospital and maintain her very independent life. This has most definitely helped my mum recover from her fall and gain the confidence she needs to continue living on her own. Thank you very much to all at Right at Home.
