The care I have received from all carers has been excellent. They are respectful, helpful and considerate. The only thing I have found difficult is the timings of visits. Morning visits can be anytime. They were at 9am for a year and then suddenly moved to 8am, which is less convenient, other than this, I am entirely grateful.
An excellent service by all who support my brother. A great support to myself. I have a lot of confidence in the team and know everyone does their best to help and support us both.
Perfect for my husband's needs.
I would thoroughly recommend this care service to friends and family. I reluctantly brought in carers for my ninety-five-year-old Mum living independently at her home with Alzheimer's and stage four breast cancer, I being the sole carer. Bluebird Care Bristol, Bath & NE Somerset came in to help in January 2021, during the lockdown pandemic when I had been struggling to cope. I initially worried about how my mother would be with new people, as well as worrying if they could possibly meet her needs such as food she liked, TV and bedtimes, as well as her character. I needn't have worried as after a few weeks the many carers got to know her, her likes and dislikes and I read their twice-daily reports about how they enjoyed chatting with her and how my Mum was often 'giggling' when they left. Sometimes about a TV programme or how they were singing along with her as she listened to her favourite, saying that she often remarked on how pleased she was to see them. Alzheimer's is a very sad, degenerative disease but I can see how they genuinely care about her.
Thank you again!
