I've been with CareMax as a service user for the past ten months.
Initially, the service was great. Appointments were flexible and my needs listen to and cared for, however as time went by I believe the phrase familiarity breeds contempt started to apply. Appointments were regularly canceled without
my knowledge, my request to not have a specific staff due to their rudeness was constantly thrown back in my face. That said the majority of staff were brilliant and are used to having a good chat with them but the staff turnover meant that any bonds created were pointless because the staff left due to being overworked. Eventually, it got to the point where I had to make multiple requests to have my calls at specific times and these were constantly ignored. I began to lose patience with them. I'm probably going to move the contract somewhere else once I've done my research.

I haven't been with the agency for very long but the care I receive is of a good standard. My dignity is extremely important to me and the staff treat me with the utmost dignity and the care I receive is excellent.

CareMax Homecare Services carers were absolutely 100% looking after my mum. They were friendly, courteous, understanding and very professional on the visits to my mum. My mum was very happy with 'her girls' as she called them and never wanted them to leave. She looked forward to each visit which says
it all really. The company were very helpful with her changing needs too.

All the girls support my mum. I feel comfortable with them being here. Some of the girls are brilliant with my mum. I do not like one of the carers as she is rude and rough with my mum.
