I found that the carers that came around, to help my mother, were very friendly, communicative, easy to speak to, very efficient.

I cannot put into words how thankful I am to Julie and her amazing team. From the ladies in the office including Nikki who conducted the assessment to all of the carers who have attended to care for both my mother and father following an extremely upsetting period during which my father was suffering from a dementia crisis accompanied by a uti and my mother was recovering from a fall. It is clear that all are not just doing their job but they truly care deeply for each individual including myself offering help, guidance and a well needed cup of tea also including calls just to check how I was managing throughout. Ongoing care is now being provided for my mother to assist her in her recovery with assistance being provided alongside allowing her to regain her independence. A heartfelt thank you to Avelo Care

I think service is excellent. Always there when needed, willing to change to alternative methods at short notice when required. Recently, the above statement has been proven true to support me to attend a group, Nikki communicated with the group leader and agreed a safe plan going forward for me to attend. I feel Avelo go above and beyond. I congratulated management on their choice of staff as I feel they are excellent.

The Care Manager came out to assess my brother after he was sent home from hospital without any care plan. He was given an appointment to remove staples 3 weeks after his op, which is to long and he had developed an infection because of it. She phoned the District Nurse Who came out to him the next day, removed the staples and sent a photo to his doctor, who then gave a prescription for antibiotics, without Nikki's help this could have become a big problem. Before my mother passed away, she was looked after by Avelo Care, the care she received and the support the family received in the run up to her passing was second to none. The staff cared not just for her but also us as a family with nothing being too much trouble. The support we received from Julie and Shaun and the rest of the management team helped us so much and we will never forget how they helped navigated us through a hard time with sound advise. Thank you Team Avelo you guys really are not just professional but also caring and compassionate to everyone.

My mother recently fractured her pelvis after a fall and required overnight care care which was provided by avelo currently we have had two different carers both of which have been absolutely excellent, particularly Jan who immediately gave a feeling of friendliness and warmth compassion and confidence in her ability. I can highly recommend this company.

All to the good and they all very caring and make me very happy when they are here. I look forward very much to the outings, look forward to meeting all the nice friends that I have made, and when I get home, I think what a lovely day I have had.

Avelo have always been so helpful with offering information about services that could help. Nothing is too much trouble and advice is offered openly and kindly. This is then followed up to check in. Always going above and beyond.

Mum received three weeks of care attendance, twice a week. This enabled my wife and I to get out together for the first time in a very long while. Mum was happy and content with her carer, who made sure that Mum was occupied, and her needs fully met. An excellent service with excellent staff.

The manager,Julie, is efficient, organised and very personable to deal with and the support for my parents was arranged so efficiently that there were no gaps in the support when it was most needed.

The weekly support visits from C have been an absolute God send for for my parents-meaning that, as a family, we have known that they don't have to worry about doing jobs that they simply can't manage. Everything is completed to a very high standard and equally as important, has been the social aspect-a friendly face visiting their home regularly and genuinely caring to see if they're ok. This has been particularly crucial over the dark days of Winter.

I can't thank Avelo Care enough for stepping in at such short notice to support my mum following her surgery. From the very start, they were professional, kind, and incredibly reassuring. Knowing my mum was being properly cared for gave me real peace of mind during a very stressful time, and it took a huge weight off my shoulders. Avelo cared for my aunt from January 2022. On that time they showed themselves to be the most professional and caring team I have experienced. True friends to my aunt, going over and above expectations. Living 300 miles from my aunt, they were un constant communication with me and I never doubted the level of care my aunt was receiving. They were very flexible in attending doctor appointments as my aunt was bed bound. Avelo provided the very best care, love, friendship, humour and support needed during the best and worst times.

Avelo Care looked after my elderly mother for last three months, and I cannot thank them enough. The staff were amazing, kind, compassionate and so supportive throughout. The office team were also excellent, always helpful and quick, to communicate.

Nikki was very informative around the assessment. We learnt a lot of additional services we could apply for and also where to go for financial help. All these things become a reality and it is very difficult to pin down where to go, so having numbers given to us is fantastic. We have actually been using the services for a little while but are now going private, the rates are VERY good for the level of cover that is given. If you are considering AVELO Care I would go right ahead and do it!

My husband was the nephew of the client, and her next of kin. We lived over 300 miles away. Avelo provided excellent care and peace of mind, They responded to calls and questions at any time of day and night, giving my husband reassurance that his aunt was being looked after and cared for, this is turn gave me peace of mind during a lengthy and stressful time. Avelo Care were above and beyond excellent, and I would recommend them highly.

Very pleased and happy with all aspects of the care Avelo provided and gratefull for the service to enable my mum to go back home and be independant.

Avelo Care have been a lifeline to us looking after our elderly uncle. We are not local, so their visits to our uncle (3 times a day, 7 days a week) gave us peace of mind he was being cared for. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept us informed of any issues which may have arisen during their visits. We are extremely very for their support and would highly recommend them.

I have been overwhelmed by the support and care both my Mum and I have been given by Avelo since 2022. Whilst I was unwell this year my Mum was very poorly too !! Julie immediately put in place excellent care day and night which relieved the pressure from my husband and myself . As my Mum is registered blind Julie also sought the carers that my Mum knew well and she felt confident being with.
