Anglia Care have been providing care for my Mother since her previous care agency relinquished her postcode area. I am a health and social care trainer so I really do know what excellent care looks like and this agency and its carers are professional, reliable, very competent, committed to providing
high-quality person-centred empathetic care and they treat my mother with dignity and respect. I cannot recommend them highly enough. There is a real understanding from management about the legal framework in which care should be provided and that is translated into superb care and support for my mother. Holidays apart she has the same carer every morning which provides continuity. The carers are punctual and go above and beyond in their support for my Mother. The office staff and manager are unfailingly helpful and polite and have also gone more than the 'extra mile'. The app is fantastic as I live 2 hours away. Highly recommend this agency.

Never having used carers in the past, we were worried who would turn up, would my wife take a disliking to them. The ladies from Anglia Care were all very pleasant and friendly. They did the job efficiently and always asked if there was anything else they could do for us. We would be very pleased to
see them again if we needed.

Excellent care from the carers who provide care for my dad. Nothing too much for them and they all go above and beyond their call of duty. Always on hand in the office for support and advice, and being there for someone to talk to when times are hard. Not just there for the person they care for but
for the family too. I can't thank Anglia Care enough, you are all fantastic.

What a wonderful care provider Anglia Care team are they have been providing care 4 x daily for my uncle since March 2021 and I can recommend them to anyone looking for care of a loved one, nothing is too much trouble and the team really do their utmost to keep to continuity and regular carers for the
care they provide, the office and on-call staff are brilliant and always respond and help with anything they can. Without this company, my uncle would not have been able to live at home as he has been. This for me has been amazing and to keep me involved with the care I provide too made using their app so helpful and supportive, highly recommended to anyone wanting the best care for a loved one.

We had the Anglia Care team look after our Mum for a year, during that time Mum received wonderful care, she looked forward to her three visits a day. We always knew how each visit had gone as we had the app which was a fantastic idea and helped us as we could always check how Mum was doing on the days
we were unable to visit. All the carers that she saw treated Mum with dignity, she could be difficult at times however the care team always tried to make her smile each day. Sadly Mum passed away peacefully in September 2021 after a long battle with dementia.

I have found Anglia Care to be professional, reliable, competent, and responsive. They have been suitably flexible when asked to provide increased or decreased service. My mother is a dominant sometimes difficult to please woman now 100 years old and for four years Anglia Care staff have cared for her
suitably. There have been a few and some rather unfair less than perfect moments.
I have felt very relaxed about my mother's care and such confidence was important as I live 350 miles away.

My nan was with Anglia Care for a short while after having a couple of falls. She has since moved into a residential home. Anglia Care was outstanding from the moment I made my initial enquiry. They provided great person-centred care and my nan who had previously been hesitant to accept support prior
to her falls enjoyed her interactions with the carers each day. Communication was very good and I particularly liked having access to an app, so I could remotely see when the carers had visited and what they did for nan during their visits. It gave reassurance that nan was ok and safe. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anglia Care. I am grateful for their kindness and the care and support nan received and I know she is grateful too.

Just wanted to say thank you for your kind review. We hope that nan is doing well in her new setting.

Anglia Care took over Mum's care package after Mum had yet another spell in hospital. As a family, to begin with, we needed support with the medication as Mum was forgetting to take these. Mum was adamant that she didn't need care, but agreed into giving it a go. Over time, with continued support, consistency
of carers, showing empathy, treating Mum with dignity, a rapport was built, and Mum would look forward to every visit. Working in this field myself, I could see the person-centred care been given. The relief and pressure that this took off me as her daughter has been enormous. My confidence in the care provided, I knew my mum was safe and well cared for, monitoring any changes in her health and responding to this allowed me to visit Mum and enjoy the stay with her as mother and daughter. Mum's final stay in hospital lead to her coming home for palliative care. Yet again, Anglia Care stepped up another level supporting both Mum and myself, nothing was ever too much trouble. Through our tears, laughter, and at times, our frustrations, they were there providing support when needed. They say everyone has a guardian angel that walks beside them, my mum was very fortunate to have had many angels with the staff at Anglia Care - thank you.

My husband is 91 years old and has been receiving Anglia Care for over 3 years. He's had wonderful care and kindness given to him during that time. He now has cancer, they go over and above to help him be comfortable and happy. He loves to see them, they are always so happy and cheerful and laugh at
his little jokes. Make him look so clean and smart. I could not manage without them. Lovely team of workers.

Anglia Care have been caring for my mother for a few years now after moving to them after a very disappointing experience with another provider. Mum has now been moved into a lovely care home for the next part of her journey of life. Mum suffers from Vascular Dementia, so required a lot of assistance
with supporting her life at home and the core carers from Anglia were absolutely fantastic. They all built a personal relationship with Mum and had awareness of anything that seemed wrong that might need the further attention of myself or medical intervention. Mum looked forward to their visits which were made fun by the carers with singing and lively conversation, whilst still meeting her core welfare needs. They were all an essential lifeline during the isolation of Covid. Yes, sometimes things went wrong, but I personally feel that the real strength of any company is how they deal with these situations. With the manager leading, any problem situation was turned into a positive experience.

Although Mum was only with Anglia Care (Ipswich) for a few months, her needs were continually changing and Anglia Care (Ipswich) gave us a tremendous amount of flexibility and support, even in times of emergency. Right from the initial meeting I had with the manager, I felt Anglia Care (Ipswich) were
a professional and caring organisation, with the needs of their clients at the heart of their services. Both the carers themselves and the office staff were always very accessible and the app is a great resource and comfort to the family.
Thank you Anglia Care (Ipswich) for making it possible for Mum to stay in her own home a few months longer.

An extremely caring agency with professional and friendly staff who communicate with the family well.
The agency tries to get the same carers in for mum which reassures her.
There is one carer who is her main one and she always goes far and away above and beyond to ensure mum is safe and warm, dry,
comfortable and content.
The office staff appear to be hands-on too, which is good, as some agencies office staff have no idea of the clients continually changing conditions and what changes are needed to be made to ensure the client is cared for in the best way.
Overall we are very happy with this agency, they are extremely well organised and willing to help when we need additional help.

My mother and father are in there 90's and they have lived in their current home for forty years. They are both very independent and were reluctant to accept any outside help. I persuaded them that having a carer visit them would improve their quality of life. I contacted Anglia Care and they visited
mum and dad to assess their needs. Care visits were arranged and after the first visit both my parents were very pleased with the professional service they received, now they look forward to the carer going to them and I have seen that they are feeling happy and safe having some extra help. I would like to thank Anglia Care for helping my parents, and I feel confident their quality of life has improved. 10 out 10.

My mother received care on a daily basis for over two years until she was admitted to hospital. Her carer was usually the same one for all of her visits, which extended to four times a day. We built up an excellent relationship with her carer, who was outstanding in her understanding of Mum's needs
as her dementia progressed.

My father has recently returned from a holiday in Suffolk that enabled him to see more of his family. I had anticipated that setting up a care package on a short term basis would be difficult but I was delighted to be proved wrong! With one call to Anglia Care, everything fell into place. Contact
with care providers is new for our family but the whole experience was positive for my father. The support and expertise from Anglia Care have been exemplary throughout and from all members of the team. From my introductory meeting, I felt confident about the company and the services offered. The flexibility was very helpful and there was a real understanding that my father’s needs were at the centre of the arrangements and not that he had to fit around an organisation. The level of personal care was extremely high and the carer’s expertise was a crucial part of the success of the holiday. Thank you from us all and I look forward to being back in contact soon to arrange another visit.

My father has been receiving care from Anglia Care for over 2 years, and we cannot praise them enough.
He was reluctant at first to accept care but the staff were so patient, understanding, kind, friendly and respectful, that very quickly he started to look forward to them coming and now thinks of
them as family.

If there are any concerns, the staff contact us immediately and it is such a relief for us as a family, knowing that dad is being so well looked after.
As my father frequently says - "I struck lucky with my carers"!

The carer that visits my friend in the morning deserves recognition for his caring nature. He is thorough, diligent and kind and has, through persistence over time, been able to ensure that my friend has a regular shave and daily wash, something which had lapsed in the past (my friend did not want to
keep up with personal hygiene). My friend looks forward to his visits and the carer has a wonderful rapport with him.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.532 for Anglia Care (Ipswich) is calculated as follows: ( (38 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (6 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 47 Ratings = 4.532

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
