I have been very impressed with the standard of care offered by the people who have helped me. In the months they have been helping me, to care for my husband. It has been a very good support and very welcome. I would be happy to recommend them in the future.
I have found my carers very helpful and friendly. Not only when I go on shopping trips with them, but for the help, advice and the companionship.
Friendly, similar interests such as crossword puzzle and cricket.
I have found all the caregivers extremely efficient, kind, caring spotlessly clean and courteous at all times. I have been totally impressed by the services provided by Home Instead.
Contacted Home Instead to help my elderly neighbour that just needed to be driven to the local cafe for lunch and couldn't be more pleased with the wonderful staff who go above and beyond and are so genuinely caring and understanding. He has come on leaps and bounds as he has company now each day. I would highly recommend Home Instead.
This has been my first time arranging care. We've been using Home Instead for about a year now. I chose them by starting at the top of the NICE rankings for our location and I haven't been disappointed. From the outset, they provided help and reassurance at a stressful time. It did take a bit longer than I'd hoped to ramp up to the level of cover that I was looking for but the caregivers are very well-chosen and carefully matched with the client. They really do care and this comes across. They are patient, supportive and interested in mum, and the two-hour minimum visits mean that they spend a good amount of time engaging with her on each visit. As well as the "mechanics" of making sure that she gets her meals, clean clothes and personal care, I do believe that her cognition has benefited from having them there speaking with her for two or three hours every day. Any arrangement of this type takes a bit of work to fine tune, but I am very comfortable entrusting my mother to them.
My carer is an extremely good companion. We do crosswords together. She also takes me shopping. She even takes me when I had to take the dog to the vet.
My lady is very bright, cheerful, willing and helpful, always on time and I look forward to her visits.
I certainly appreciate her help.
Home Instead provided companionship to my husband for approx 2 years. I cannot praise and thank them enough. The companions they provided for my husband were not only kind and thoughtful but perfectly matched to my husband. The people in the office are kind and supportive and I would recommend them to anyone.
Thank you very much, Carol. It was a pleasure and an honour to support your husband.
Home Instead have not only supported my Dad in living independently but also given me the peace of mind that his care is in good hands so that I can also concentrate on my own health and well-being. Living with Alzheimer's and losing your wife (my Mother) to Cancer, is a stressful and heartbreaking time for all concerned and Home Instead came at a time, when change was a scary place to be, but made so much easier with the right care and support, which this agency is and was able to offer. I wish the team all the very best in the future and keep doing what you do!! It works. Thank You for your support.
Thank you, Benita, it has been our pleasure to be with you and your Dad.
Home Instead does exactly what its says on the tin, providing high-quality care at home. My wife was allocated two outstanding care providers. Every morning they showered her, dressed her and made her breakfast. In addition, they took a real interest in her as a person, treating her with dignity, and encouraging her to make conversation, despite her dementia. Nothing was too much trouble. They were always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you so much.
We all enjoyed spending time with you and your wife - a lovelier smile we could not have hoped to see.
When my mother lost her driving license I contacted Home Instead to provide my mother with a means to get to the shops and also provide companionship combining the shopping trip with lunch out.
Mum became very fond of her companion who always treated her with great respect and consideration. When my Mum's condition worsened and she needed more care, Home Instead stepped in, often at short notice, until more permanent arrangements could be made. They provided invaluable support and advice at a time of considerable stress for our family.
Thank you for choosing us to spend the last year or so with your Mum. She was an important part of all of our lives and we took great pleasure in being able to support her during an obviously difficult time.
The service is very flexible but what I liked was the continuity that meant that he received the same carer every day which is very important in a Dementia sufferer. She quickly learned his funny little ways and that, in turn, made him relaxed and happy in her company.
I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone who is looking for long-term care for a member of the family. Great care is taken to match the right carer to each individual and that is what makes the difference.
It was our absolute pleasure to be involved in the life of this fabulous gentleman and his family.
The whole team are great - they are attentive and always provide a helpful service, and take the time to ask how my grandma is doing and pop in to see her to check all is well. Her carer was a great match and my grandmother got on very well with her. The service was reliable, caring, attentive and personal. I would highly recommend.
Thank you Jenny, it was a pleasure and an honour to provide support to your grandma. She is a role model for attitude in later life, always positive, pragmatic and generally lovely.
From the point at which we engaged the services of Home Instead, we had absolute confidence in their ability to work with us to find the perfect companion for our father. It is not overstating it to say that over time this dedicated team became a real part of the family. To a person, they went above and beyond the call of duty to get to know our father and arrange trips and outings that would engage Daddy in the things that he loved. We never ever felt that this was seen as a chore, but a pleasure for them as well. Daddy always came back from one of his trips on a 'high'; full of the pleasures of the occasion. His days were undoubtedly enlivened and enriched by this caring, compassionate circle of friends.

Meet the Team (3)
Having been in the insurance and financial services in one form or another for the majority of my career, I have worked for some large multinational organisations and also for myself. The financial crisis in 2008 was a catalyst for change for which I will be eternally grateful.
Between then and opening Reigate and Tandridge Home Instead, I worked part-time in project management but more importantly, as a part-time CAREGiver for Home Instead in Epsom. I say more importantly because working as a Home Instead CAREGiver gave me first-hand experience of what a profound difference it can make when care and support is delivered the Home Instead way, unrushed and with kindness and compassion, building lasting meaningful relationships. It also opened my eyes to how many vulnerable people are stuck with extremely poor care and are simply unaware that there is an immeasurably better and very affordable alternative in Home Instead.
Reigate is my home town so when the opportunity arose for me to open an office here it seemed absolutely right that I should do so.
I am very happy to be able to offer our local communities the unique approach to care and support that we at Home Instead can provide.
I am the head of client care at the Reigate and Tandridge office of Home Instead Senior Care.
Before working with Home Instead I spent many years working in the motor trade in both sales and repairs, running the business with my husband. However, after a change of circumstances, I took time out and cared for my sons.
I have cared for my father who has Dementia and Parkinson's, which was very rewarding, and this gave me the opportunity to look for a vocation that I would truly enjoy. I joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver in March 2018 and I have never looked back as working with a great team is nothing but the best. All our clients are lovely and make my job so rewarding
I love my job, but it's more than a 'job'. It's like being part of a big 'family.
I then took an office role in an Electrical Wholesalers doing Credit Control, Sales Ledger, and at times Purchase Ledger. After 25 years, I wanted a complete change and started working part-time in a lovely country Pub, alongside this I set up my Dog Walking and Home Boarding business, which I did for 11 years. Dogs have always been a passion for me, my bouncy two are called Gilmour and Molly.
I then came across Home Instead. I loved what I heard and decided to give it a go. I was so surprised at just how much I looked forward to my day in the Care Professional role and felt that I had found my ‘Me’. My clients were so lovely and interesting, and I just couldn’t wait to see them. It wasn’t a job, it was a joy.
Work-life balance is so important for us right now, and I have exactly that. I wish I had found ‘us’ years ago…
