For the past two years, Rivendell have been providing 24/7 care for my cousin who is in his late seventies and has Alzheimer's.
The carers have shown great patience and kindness and he has a good relationship with most of them. The management and office team are always ready to respond to my calls,
answer queries and sort out the inevitable problems and concerns that arise from time to time.
I feel confident that I can trust Rivendell to provide the support that my cousin needs. This is especially important as I am his next of kin in the UK but I live over a hundred miles from his home.

I have been using Rivendell for 6 months already. My mother has been in bed for three years, she can't move and even speak. Compared to many carers I used in the last three years, Rivendell is the best in the area. The agency is sending me a schedule next week each Friday. The carer is the best carer
my family ever had. She is providing fantastic care, she is very polite and hard-working. I am very grateful to Rivendell for their support of my family.

We have been using Rivendell for some time. One visit per day. We would not hesitate to recommend Rivendell to anyone. They are efficient, approachable, reliable, and sensitive and they provided excellent care to my mother-in-law.

Rivendell Care & support helped my mum to stay in her own home for many years. Even when things became more complicated I was able to speak to the manager who was incredibly supportive and worked hard to find the best personnel to look after my mum 24 hours a day.
My mum had to finally move to a care
home in June which was very difficult at age 99 but everyone, from the owners to the manager and her lovely carer, helped me cope with the move.
I can't thank everyone enough.

We were recommended to go to Rivendell, and they have been excellent - very caring of my wife, extremely efficient and flexible, and totally reliable. We started with one carer for twice per day, and as her medical condition deteriorated Rivendell have escalated their support to two carers three times
per day and a night carer. Some of the individuals working for Rivendell have been truly exceptional - so kind and so considerate to both my wife and I. We are so grateful that we followed the original recommendation!

We needed to find light touch night time care quickly for my 86 year old father who had lost confidence after having Covid. Rivendell was able to help us right away and has always been sensitive, efficient and flexible in their administrative dealings with us. The carer herself was very warm, calm and
discreet. We will miss her now my father's needs have changed.

We have used Rivendell for some years for cleaning and light caring and find them excellent. It is good to have the same person week to week which builds up a relationship. Staff also seem to be very well supervised and managed. Plenty of backup and communication, including a useful regular newsletter.
Altogether a very good, caring organisation, not the cheapest but worth it.

Our aunt spent many years in Harmony Close. Originally she was self-sufficient able to run her life independently. However, following some deterioration owing to ongoing medical conditions and age we as a family sought help in the form of reliable carers. We were recommended to Rivendell who provided
sincere and helpful attention. The service Rivendell provided was reliable meaning that we as a family need not have a concern about daily assistance, food preparation, personal hygiene, laundry duties, and cleaning. The amount of time needed to increase as our aunt was less able to do things herself. She was very happy and content with the staff who looked after her. The monitoring by the carers was also important in reporting changes in needs and health matters. There are inevitable hiccups but any queries were dealt with quickly and courteously. We are thankful for Rivendell making the task of care of our beloved aunt so efficient.

Rivendell provided round the clock end of life care for my mother so that she could remain at home. They took care of her personal care and also cared for my father who has Parkinson's disease. The team looked after her with sensitivity, dignity and genuine care and provided emotional support as well
as physical for the whole family. They were so professional that more than once they were mistaken for nurses by the GP. The management was extremely responsive and made regular calls to support the family.
After this they provided daily, and then twice daily, personal care visits for my father. During the Covid-19 lockdowns, this was his only face to face social contact and a vital lifeline for him. The carers were all reliable, friendly and professional and their Covid-19 precautions were exemplary. When his needs escalated and we had to increase his visits they arranged this at short notice. The management is excellent and very responsive. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The high level of care offered by Rivendell is what separates this company from the rest. Having had a fair few negative experiences with other care home care agencies, I was more than pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and genuine care offered by Rivendell. My grandmother has a long list of
complex issues that are made just that little easier through the continued support we receive.

I would highly recommend Rivendell Care.
My mother and father receive home care of a very high standard. The carers really do care, with sympathy and an understanding of how my parent's complex needs can change daily and the flexibility of professional carers to adapt and meet any challenge with a
smile. The care team respect that my parents have had fulfilled and independent lives, and ensure that now that they need care in their later life, it is done with the dignity they deserve.

I contacted Rivendell Care after my 88-year-old mother took a fall and broke several bones in her back. They sent in (a rota of three) carers every day to assist keeping her in her own home during her recovery. Each of the carers was highly professional, caring and very personable.
My mother could
not speak highly enough of their care of her, they were truly exceptional. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rivendell Care from the experience of my mother's care.
