I would thoroughly recommend Rivendell.

Our experience of Rivendell Care, was in connection with my late Father's care. We found the staff at Rivendell lovely.. all the way through. Very helpful in setting up & the carers themselves, were very sympathetic towards my Father's needs. All who visited were very caring & proficient. We would have no hesitation in recommending Rivendell Care to others. We did our homework beforehand & the costs were also very reasonable, with a full range of services available.

I feel confident that I can trust Rivendell to provide the support that my cousin needs. This is especially important as I am his next of kin in the UK but I live over a hundred miles from his home.

A really excellent care company, very responsive and extremely well organised. The carers they provided were all very professional and did their very difficult work kindly and ably. I would certainly recommend them.

I have been using Rivendell for 6 months already. My mother has been in bed for three years, she can't move and even speak. Compared to many carers I used in the last three years, Rivendell is the best in the area. The agency is sending me a schedule next week each Friday. The carer is the best carer my family ever had. She is providing fantastic care, she is very polite and hard-working. I am very grateful to Rivendell for their support of my family.

I can't thank everyone enough.

We were recommended to go to Rivendell, and they have been excellent - very caring of my wife, extremely efficient and flexible, and totally reliable. We started with one carer for twice per day, and as her medical condition deteriorated Rivendell have escalated their support to two carers three times per day and a night carer. Some of the individuals working for Rivendell have been truly exceptional - so kind and so considerate to both my wife and I. We are so grateful that we followed the original recommendation!

We needed to find light touch night time care quickly for my 86 year old father who had lost confidence after having Covid. Rivendell was able to help us right away and has always been sensitive, efficient and flexible in their administrative dealings with us. The carer herself was very warm, calm and discreet. We will miss her now my father's needs have changed.

Rivendell Care & Support are an excellent provider from the office staff to the careers; they looked after every need for my mum after open heart surgery, always helpful, and my mum got excellent care from them; she had a really special bond with the carers. I will definitely recommend them for long and short-time care and will definitely use them again if needed. A big thank you to all of you.

We have used Rivendell for some years for cleaning and light caring and find them excellent. It is good to have the same person week to week which builds up a relationship. Staff also seem to be very well supervised and managed. Plenty of backup and communication, including a useful regular newsletter. Altogether a very good, caring organisation, not the cheapest but worth it.

Both the administrative and care staff continue to be incredibly helpful and reliable. Any changes in requirements are dealt with without fuss or difficulty. I can be quite certain that the level of care provided is always excellent.

Our aunt spent many years in Harmony Close. Originally she was self-sufficient able to run her life independently. However, following some deterioration owing to ongoing medical conditions and age we as a family sought help in the form of reliable carers. We were recommended to Rivendell who provided sincere and helpful attention. The service Rivendell provided was reliable meaning that we as a family need not have a concern about daily assistance, food preparation, personal hygiene, laundry duties, and cleaning. The amount of time needed to increase as our aunt was less able to do things herself. She was very happy and content with the staff who looked after her. The monitoring by the carers was also important in reporting changes in needs and health matters. There are inevitable hiccups but any queries were dealt with quickly and courteously. We are thankful for Rivendell making the task of care of our beloved aunt so efficient.

After this they provided daily, and then twice daily, personal care visits for my father. During the Covid-19 lockdowns, this was his only face to face social contact and a vital lifeline for him. The carers were all reliable, friendly and professional and their Covid-19 precautions were exemplary. When his needs escalated and we had to increase his visits they arranged this at short notice. The management is excellent and very responsive. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The high level of care offered by Rivendell is what separates this company from the rest. Having had a fair few negative experiences with other care home care agencies, I was more than pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and genuine care offered by Rivendell. My grandmother has a long list of complex issues that are made just that little easier through the continued support we receive.
