My husband was cared for, for over three years and for the last six months had two carers, four times a day. His care was always centred on what his preferences and needs were wherever possible. The carers were professional, well trained and very kind, patient and caring. He died at home very peacefully in the very comfortable position the last carers attending him had created for him. I found it very easy to contact and discuss any issues with the managers and coordinators. They were always available and often visited to discuss changing needs. I am very grateful that my husband was able to end his life’s journey at home and we were only able to facilitate this because of the totally reliable and competent support we had from Bluebird Care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write us such a lovely review, considering what you are currently going through. We are so happy that you felt that we always took into consideration your husband’s preferred presences while always focusing on a person-centred approach. All of your husband’s...
I am very happy with the care that my mother receives from Bluebird Care Waltham Forest, it is at a good standard, and I would be happy to recommend this care company. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved. Keep up the good standard.
Thank you for your review of our services, and it's lovely to hear that we are offering your Mum a good standard of care and that you would recommend us, which is very reassuring. We have passed your thanks onto our carers, and they will certainly keep up the good standard of care. Many thanks again.
We have had a very pleasant experience with Bluebird Care Waltham Forest. After expressing an interest in March this year, they responded so positively by arranging a visit immediately and promptly arranging a care plan for my Dad's needs. They assigned designated carers and our current carers have been amazing. They are so friendly, caring and so attentive to Dad's needs. We feel so relieved that Dad is being looked after with such love and care.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We could not be happier that your Dad and family are happy with the level of care we are providing and that all his carers show such love and care and have expressed that his carers are amazing. We try our very best to provide a very high quality of...
From the start Bluebird Care Waltham Forest were efficient and very sensitive to my parent's needs and care was very straightforward to arrange. The carer who was supporting my parents was brilliant and it was clear that she genuinely cared and took pride in her work, which was so reassuring as at the time we lived several hours away. Although Bluebird Care Waltham Forest were only involved in the care of my parents for a short period of time, as they are now in supported living close to us, I have no hesitation in recommending their services. A huge thank you for being there to support us in a time of unexpected crisis.
Thank you, Kevin, for taking the time to write the above review. We are so happy to hear that we acted in a sensitive manner and worked efficiently when starting the care package. We aim for it to be as straight forward as possible and easy to arrange as to start as soon as required. Thank you...
We are very happy with the service supplied by Bluebird Waltham Forest which is reliable and consistent. Whilst the current level of service we require is limited, we will have no doubts about adding additional services in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very pleased to hear that we are providing a reliable service with a consistency of care and will continue to do so. Thank you again.
I am very happy with the care that has been provided to my mum over the last 2 years, it gives me real peace of mind that my mum is being looked after by a caring carer.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is a real pleasure to know that we are not only offering a good service of care to your Mum but also allows the family to have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are well looked after.
Good.
Our aunt has been having Bluebird Care carers 4 times a day for many months. She needs her meals prepared, medication to be given and help with personal care. All of the carers have been kind, helpful and respectful and have completed what is asked of them. Any changes to medication or alteration to her needs have been accommodated quickly and efficiently. Any queries from us have been listened to and dealt with properly. We have also used the live-in carer for 2 weeks respite which we were happy with too. Lastly, our aunt is very happy with her care too, which to us is the most important factor. Bluebird Care has allowed our aunt to stay in her own home at the age of 94!
Thank you so much for your lovely review we are happy our care has allowed your Auntie to remain in her own home, we look forward to continuing the high level of care long into the feature.
Very satisfied. Everyone has been kind and courteous to my mother. Her health is improving with the care she is receiving.
Hi Robert, thank you for your kind words. We are glad to hear that we have been able to positively impact your mum’s health and look forward to working with you and your family in the future.
It is excellent I would recommend it to all my friends and family. The staff are friendly and do it without any bother, which makes all the better for me.
Thank you for your kind words, it has been a privilege to care for you and we look forward to continuing that care long into the future to the best of our ability.
The new carer attempts to follow the care plan, but is much slower and sometimes forgetful, never a health of safety issue though. We are becoming friends and I concentrate on covering a few essential desires of mine at a time.
We are progressing well.

Meet the Team (7)
Bluebird Care Waltham Forest is led by Anoop Sekhon. Anoop started delivering homecare in Waltham Forest to help support customers in the area to receive home care and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality of home care and support is Anoop’s absolute goal, and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Anoop holds a BSc in Business Information Technology. She has worked with the Youth Service for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for 6 years as an HR manager.
Her background in working with young people, including those with significant care needs, has inspired her to work with people with a wide range of care needs and to open Bluebird Care (Greenwich) in March 2012. She is committed to ensuring that she provides a high-quality service to the individuals she works with and that the exacting standards of Bluebird Care, UKHCA and CQC are satisfied in full.
I have been working in care for most of my adult life, and I have never felt so rewarded. Having the ability to care for people in their own homes really helps me to go home with a smile on my face every day.
Since joining Bluebird Care as a Care Coordinator back in 2019, I have progressed to becoming a Registered Care Manager. I am very grateful for the opportunity I have been given and feel blessed to know that I will be supporting many more people to remain independent in their own homes!
I started my journey with Bluebird Care in March 2023 as a Care Assistant. I felt it was a natural progression for me from having worked in customer service for many years; I wanted to move into working for my local community, helping others. I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know their stories and life histories. The main enjoyment is that every day we improve someone’s life and see the impact of our hard work, which is why it’s so rewarding.
I have been promoted to Care Supervisor, and this is also very rewarding, meeting prospective new customers and developing their care plans.
Irene joined Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant in 2025 and quickly became our Care Supervisor. She supports carers in the field through regular supervisions, ensuring they feel confident, follow procedures, and consistently implement care plans. She also meets with new customers to assess their individual needs and develops comprehensive care plans that provide carers with clear guidance on delivering personalised and high-quality care. Additionally, Irene carries out regular customer reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify areas where our service can be improved.
Terri started her journey with Bluebird Care in February 2021 as a care assistant. She has changed roles and been a Supervisor and Coordinator, but is now a Marketing Executive across 3 branches.
Terri manages our social media presence, ensuring Bluebird Care is effectively showcased online. She attends events to network and promote our services, engaging with customers directly and encouraging their participation to strengthen relationships and raise awareness of the support we provide.
Jaspreet ensures that carers are paid accurately and on time. She manages the preparation and sending of invoices to customers and handles any queries related to payments or billing, ensuring smooth financial operations within the business.
I’ve been working with Bluebird Care for a year and a half, since coming back from a long break after Maternity Leave. I love how supportive everyone is and how easy it is to work in a team with everyone here at Bluebird. I graduated with a Finance degree and have worked in Finance since, but this has to be my most enjoyable role. I came on board with a lot of Finance skills, but I have learned much about the care industry since and have found it particularly rewarding working in this sector - even though I work in the back office, I very much enjoy that I can do my bit to help our wonderful customers. I do believe that for everyone here, it is more than just a job - when you’re made to feel like an important and essential member of the team, it makes it even easier to go that extra mile.
