I have used Bluebird for 5 months as my wife is slowly recovering from multiple strokes. The carers are very warm and friendly, and I particularly like the way they talk to my wife as they are going about their work. I would recommend Bluebird without hesitation.

Bluebird intervened with a suspected medical problem which was affecting Mums quality of life and rapport with others. As a result Mum is a lot better. We were consulted as the process was followed and the GP and Bluebird did all they could to foster good communication.

I have relied on Bluebird to care for my two elderly parents for three years now. They are extremely professional when scheduling visits and are always happy to change up the routine to fit around our busy lives. We have settled on several carers who visit on a regular basis. We have been using Bluebird Care for the last two years to help look after my mother who has Alzheimer's dementia. The carers are kind, caring, always respectful of her wishes and sensitive to her needs. They manage difficult situations in a professional manner and appear well supervised. The office management team are very quick to respond to any queries and issues are dealt with promptly. We have had to increase the level of care over the two years and this has never been a problem; earlier concerns about continuity of carer were addressed and our mum now has a team of two or three carers who know her well and provide almost all of the visits. It has been a huge weight off my mind to know that my mum is in good, caring hands when I am away and I have no hesitation in recommending the agency.

We have been using Bluebird for a number of years and currently have a live-in carer for a 105-year-old woman. The care she has received was been on the whole excellent, although much depends on the character and attitude of the carer. There have been a few issues, understandably to be expected when dealing with an elderly patient with a fading memory. On the whole, we are satisfied with our current arrangements.

The Bluebird team provides 24-hour support to my aunt who is living with Alzheimer's disease. We have been very impressed with the service and the carers. They are thoughtful and kind, always thinking of ways to adapt to give my aunt a good quality of life. The registered care manager and the staff have gone above and beyond to help us out when circumstances have changed, offering options and solutions. We have often counted ourselves lucky to have found Bluebird. Thank you.

This is the first time we have used Bluebird Care Highgate and Haringey and I was impressed by the team right from the start. We had a visit to outline the service provided and for the team to better understand my mother's needs. We found the team member very caring, and informative and she put us at ease knowing that Mum would be in safe hands. The carers that they paired Mum with were so kind and treated Mum with respect and made her feel safe. It was a big undertaking handing over the care of my mother to someone else, but they took away that fear and worry, and I could see the smile on my mother's face when she saw them. Mum was encouraged to do activities and interact with others at a centre that they took her to which she loved. I know that when I leave my mother in their care, I won't have to worry at all. Bluebird have been amazing and I look forward to the ongoing relationship that we have with the team. Thank you, Bluebird for everything.

Bluebird is providing excellent care for my Mum. Since day one they have understood her needs and have tailored their care accordingly. The carers treat her with kindness, compassion, and consideration, protect her dignity, and interact with her in a friendly and gentle way, always basing their approach around Mum herself, what she would like, what would help, and how she's feeling. Mum can trust them and this brings comfort and security. I then have the confidence and assurance that I need that mum is being well looked after. The agency is very organised, reliable, and professional. Communication is great and they always respond and make sure they are available. They are quick to find solutions to anything that may arise, listen carefully, and do their utmost to help and ensure that things go well and smoothly. My mother and I feel very much that Bluebird Care are part of the family. We have come to know the carers very well and have built up a rapport with them.
If the carers have any concerns for my mother's skin or her other medical needs that require outside intervention, i.e. doctor or nurse, they immediately bring this to my attention.
Their charges are competitive for such a first-class service.

Meet the Team (4)
Terina started working in the care industry in 1999, working as a health care assistant at Southend Hospital. She progressed to mentoring and NVQ assessing other HCA’s in A&E. It was clear that she wanted to continue to pursue a career in health and social care so she took up a registered manager role in a domiciliary care business and has since held operational and regional manager roles. Terina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team as our registered care manager, she has a clear passion for supporting people and working in an organisation where she can make a real difference. Terina has many qualifications, including a level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Since joining Bluebird Care, Terina has helped the business achieve an overall rating of Outstanding with our regulator the Care Quality Commission, making us the only provider with this rating in the borough of Haringey. Also in late 2022, Terina won a national award, 'Care Manager of the Year' from over 100 nominations at a ceremony in London. We are very proud of her continued success and achievements.

Bridget originally trained as a general nurse and gained several years of experience working in acute settings before transferring to the community where she had various roles supporting children, young people, and their families in their own homes.
She had the opportunity to take up a management position in healthcare and this extended to management across adult health and social care. During this time she felt very passionate about making a difference in the lives of people who required care and support. She did everything she could to help them live independent lives and receive the best possible support.
Following a break in her career, Bridget joined Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey as a care worker and this experience once again enabled her to provide quality care to customers in their own homes. She then had the opportunity to take up the position of care supervisor, a role that she really wanted to do, as it enables her to continue supporting customers but also offering support to care workers.

Eka lived in America for 2 years working as a nanny before moving to London. She started her career as an English teacher, mainly teaching at the secondary school level but longed to work in the care industry. She started working as a care assistant visiting people's homes, delivering a very high level of support and care. She has continued her learning and increased her knowledge around domiciliary care and is now an integral part of the office team where she focuses on supporting our entire care team.

Before joining Bluebird Care in April 2020, Angela worked in sales and also in hospices. It was a challenging start and introduction to home care in April 2020 due to COVID-19 but she thoroughly enjoyed her two years as a care assistant and she excelled in her role. Angela continued her progression and became our care coordinator in July 2022 at our neighbouring Camden & Hampstead office before joining the Highgate and Haringey team as our Care Supervisor in September 2023.
