After my mum being in and out of hospital for the last few months.. social services put a rehab care package out to tender.
I am so grateful that we got Valley Care! They have made a stressful time so much easier!! Always at the end of the phone to answer any worries and help navigate the whole care system as we are new to this.
As for the actual carers, well they have put a smile back on mums face!!! Chatty and cheerful as well as kind and professional!!
I can now relax for the first time in a while knowing my mum is in the best hands!!

Thankyou!!! Xx

Woeful.
Cancelled home visits twice in consecutive weeks.
Care staff did not read notes regarding required care and when asked stated they "did not have time to read notes" - this resulted in my father in law falling in the bathroom.
Calls to complain were forwarded to carers mobiles who were not familiar with his case.

Just a truly terrible service offering very little actual care.

My mother ( who is in her 90's ) has been a client of Valley Care Direct for over four years and during that time she has received very good/excellent domiciliary care. Over the years my mothers mobility and dementia have worsened and Valley Care 's management, co-coordinators and daily care staff have been aware, supportive and considerate of my mothers changing needs. Valley Care has liaised with myself, social, medical, OT and incontinence services to ensure that my mother receives the best physical, emotional and practical support. Care Plans and daily care provision have been revised to provide my mother with the care that she requires. On a daily basis, Carers provide my mother with the personal care, medical, food ( meals ), laundry, mobility and emotional support that she needs in accordance with the Care Plan. Both my Mother and myself are grateful for the on - going care and professional support that my mother receives from Valley Care Direct.

Valley Care provide an exceptional level of care.
All of the carers that came to help us support a 98 year old lady living at home were compassionate, kind and and very respectful.
It gave us peace of mind knowing she was regularly checked, helped with her daily needs and most of all had some wonderful conversations with carers who genuinely took the time to stop and chat with her.
We would recommend anyone wanting to provide care at home to use Valley Care.

A great team!! Many thanks.

Valley Care staff go above and beyond any caring team we have experienced. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very well trained. Without the care provided by them our Mum would have to be placed in a home. Mum is treated with dignity and respect and is much more comfortable being cared for at home by the wonderful staff at Valley Care.

I chose Valley Care Derbyshire as it was local. All the staff and carers keep me fully informed of my dad's care package that is in place.
The carers talk to my dad as a person and get him to converse. They are friendly, caring, and are attentive to his needs.
The office staff contact me immediately if the carers have any issues relating to my dad's health.

I would thoroughly recommend Valley Care Derbyshire for looking after someone's loved one as their care/needs are priority to the client and their family.

In January 2019 Valley Care came to look after my wife following sepsis. The care given was excellent and this continues during her fight with cancer- sadly she died Nov 2020- but Valley Care were so good and caring during lockdown especially. Since then I have continued to have a carer come in 1 hour per week to help with domestic jobs. I know that I could also call on them if I was in trouble and needed personal care. All the staff are loving, caring, professional. Thank you all for myself and especially for my late wife.

We needed a care plan three times, first and second times for my husband the last for me. There was never a problem who to ask for. Every carer was always friendly, very caring, and efficient. When having to give strip washes they always made sure you were happy with it. A very caring company.

My late husband was a cancer sufferer. He fought the disease incredibly well for 4 years. However the last 6 months of his life things became very difficult. I had been looking after him myself but I found I could no longer cope. After a short stay in hospital my husband came home to a hospital bed in our front room. He had chosen to die at home, and this was only made possible by the incredibly staff from Valley Care. They would call 4 times a day to help with my husband's needs. They were so professional, treated my husband with the upmost respect and dignity. Nothing was too trouble for them , they came out in all weather's to get to us. They always had a smile on their faces and I could hear them laughing and joking with my husband on good days, and holding his hand and comforting him on bad days. It wasn't just my husband they lent a shoulder to cry on but me as well when things got really tough. Even in death my husband was treated with the upmost respect. Highly recommend this wonderful company.

The girls used to go into apply cream to my grandads legs and put on his stockings. He absolutely loved having them all he says he had such a laugh with them and they made him feel at ease and reassured that everything was OK. He has since had his other hip done and now his 2 weeks of care has finished he is going back to valley care again in the next couple of weeks.

His words" lovely girls".

I can't thank a particular staff member and her team enough and without them my mum wouldn't have been discharged from hospital so quickly and to be honest we would have struggled to give her the care she needed during her recovery.
My mum broke her hip and my step father had just come out of hospital after being a kidney donor to my brother in law so to have Valley care come in within 48 hours of asking them was a game changer.

The staff who came in were amazing, cheerful, singing and nothing was too much trouble. My mum was stressed and worried and the team immediately put her mind at ease. Their care was amazing and my family and I will always be grateful for them.
